A Disease so Deadly

You have to shut down all the mink farms…in a couple of years.

Dr. Bonnie Henry and B.C. Agriculture Minister Lana Popham announced Friday a permanent ban on breeding mink. Live mink will also not be allowed on the province’s nine farms by April 2023. All operations must cease completely and have all their pelts sold by 2025.

While the highly transmissible Delta variant hasn’t been found on mink farms, the threat remains for a virus to mutate in mink, then be passed back to humans. Henry said a mutation could affect the effectiveness of vaccines.

Never let a good crisis go to waste.

    1. Oh don’t worry.
THEY WILL be gunning for our pets next.
Don’t want to allow lonely people any sanity or companionship in this Brave New World.

      1. Pets will be way down the list…
Beef and Pork are what they really want banned, but only from the poor, NOT themselves.
The rich elite will always have their beef and pork and gasoline and air travel
and yes they will still have access to Mink, just not the rest of us.
Their Motto – Sanctions, masks and banning are for thee, NOT me.

        1. yup, dead on. That’s where this is going. Wanna survive? Remote acreage, camo nets and drone jamming technology. I just bought 16 acres in a remote area.

      1. Those terms are entirely acceptable, even desirable for them.

Sooner or later they will just announce you can keep what you have but cannot get new ones. Several dog breeds got banned in Morontario this way (morons on this blog like Enema69 cheered), a pilot project in New Zealand banned cats in one town to protect local birds. Precedents are being established.

    2. They’ll go for registered breeders first. You will be able to only adopt and best from Injun reserves or turd world shitholes (but I repeat myself).

  1. And it’s proven that COVID can infect politicians and be transmitted back to humans, yet we are still raising those vermin.

    1. Good point. What about bureaucrats? Can they infect us humans too? They seem to breed and infect our society.

  2. But Henry and Popham said the decision to shut the farms was based solely on health considerations.

Yeah, sure it was Bon Bon. Just as sure as I am about how the remaining Mink farms are all located in the Fraser Valley and how the Fraser Valley has been a Conservative stronghold for over a decade.
And given the NDP’s predilection for directing hostility at those who don’t think like them I wouldn’t put it past you.
Canada may as well designate B.C. as one big nature preserve and be done with it.

    1. Don t the Injuns already own 110 % of it any way? They may have to grab a chunk of Alberta also to make up the deficit.

    1. no, its laying the groundwork for total top down control, and in the immediate future, not fifty years down the road, but by the end of this decade. Don’t be distracted by your ideology, that’s what they have created it for.

  3. “Henry said a mutation could affect the effectiveness of vaccines.”

That and the vaccines could also mutate the virus, making the virus more deadly over time. The vaccinated are eventually going to kill us all!

    1. But Bon Bon, you say, over and over ad nauseum

      SAFE AND EFFECTIVE!

Not very Effective if she is concerned about transmission. Never have been effective. She should be more worried about ADE and Auto-Immune Deficiency caused by multi-jabbed and boostered humans, than innocent animals.

Talking about innocent, next up, let’s JAB those kids! Despite not being at risk of death or serious illness, kids are in the crosshairs of these abominable people.

  4. An admission by them that the virus has an animal reservoir and therefore ‘covid zero’ is unattainable.

      1. Is it possible the PCR testing thingumy has been incorrectly calibrated and is actually measuring something we used to call snot. Seems to be a lot of it about.

    1. And the other ” reservoir ” is in the human unvaxxed ” animals ” so they figure.
Wonder how THEY go about dealing with that.

      1. John, I’m sure they’ll just issue a mandate, and expect all the animals to gather at an injection/vaccination site to get their jabs. They’re gonna need a lot of goo when the Reindeer herds show up. What do you wanna bet they’ll raise our taxes to pay for all that extra goo!

    2. “An admission by them that the virus has an animal reservoir and therefore ‘covid zero’ is unattainable.”

Its no such thing, Its laying the groundwork to control your food supply, and what you can eat. Its VERY late in the day, time for people to wake up.

  5. “While the highly transmissible Delta variant hasn’t been found on mink farms…”
Yeah that’s great you cupid stunt…keep fixating on things that aren’t actually doing anything. Maybe you should put on another mask too.
Is BC going to ban wild animals too? You DO realize it’s in the deer?
Eff me, but this woman is STUPID.
Also, I notice that at a time when Ontario and Quebec have had a moment of sanity and walked back their vaccine mandates, this cupid stunt is doubling down and adding dentists and doctors in “private” practice to the list.

    Let’s go Bonnie!

    1. The moment of sanity in Morontario you are referring to, has been greatly overstated. Hospitals are allowed to keep their mandates and most, if not all, do. It just a passive aggressive, sitting on the fence, maneuver that Fat Fuck Ford has been playing so often lately.

    2. She is not stupid but evil. She is a big Pharma ghoul and should have been jailed 500 days ago. Along with the rest of the charlatans who run the government in this God forsaken province.

  6. Heil Henry!
First, we will come for the mink….
Then, we will exterminate all vermin ( you know who you are).

“An associate medical officer of health in Hamilton says the number of COVID-19 deaths in the city is under review as the number may have accidentally been exaggerated by including people who died from another cause. The Spectator reports this seems contrary to provincial practice (and the city’s current practice), which constitutes labelling deaths as COVID-19 deaths whether or not they were attributed to the virus, so long as the people who died were infected. Epidemiologist Colin Furness criticized this move, saying it risks minimizing the pandemic’s effects.”

Read that again a few times.

    1. All across Canada the lies have been told by those with an evil agenda. When will people wake up?

  8. I wonder about squirrels, there was a gathering in these parts where samples of wild meats were served and squirrel was included along with the usual deer and moose ….no mention of raccoon!

  9. Hey Bonnie

You money scamming filthy little grub.
Let’s just Declare an “Animal Emergency” and eradicate them all …hmmm.??
Cunning STUNT does not adequately describe that POS.
Just another Business to destroy – the REAL goal of this plandemic,

I think its time to go buy a cpl Rottweiler pups….

  10. Think of it as part of the “in ten years, you won’t own anything and you’ll be happy”. Really, Schwabbo? I’ve never owned anything made from mink fur and my disposition hasn’t changed.

  11. The next logical step for these medical experts will be the elimination of chickens in urban neighbourhoods and then it will be the chicken farms themselves. I mean the threat of avian flu is present and we can’t have that threat hanging over our heads now can we. This will kill two birds with one stone (pardon the unintended pun), neighbourhood chickens will get rid of one of the basics for the survivors that have been preparing for a societal collapse and then it will be the start of the first step to government imposed food rationing. They have an ulterior plan and have no doubt they are on their way to implementing it inch by inch.

  12. Mink? Thought that industry was shelved ages ago along with all the other types of fur harvesting.

Back in the 80s, I once tried on a made-to-measure mink coat in my size that a woman I knew owned. Imo, it was way too heavy to wear and at $5k, not anything I’d want, but that black beauty was gorgeous!

I agree, that as predicted, the pet industry is the next thing the Greenies will target. Will it be eliminated entirely, probably not, but it likely will be severely curtailed. Will it become a one pet per household thing with social credits to the 0 pets per household? It shouldn’t surprise anyone. Will we have to visit household pets at the zoo in future? It shouldn’t surprise us, considering how fast this current crop of politicians are moving.

Check out the stats. The pet industry is a $99 billion/ yr industry.
    https://petpedia.co/pet-industry-statistics/

    1. How much the pet industry brings in , is of little consequence to the NWO scum.
Ask Venezuela how they like their new pet industry, if you can find one that hasn’t been eaten by humans .
That’s the model we are headed for, an insanely oil rich country now destitute with its population starving .

      1. You indicate:
“How much the pet industry brings in, is of little consequence to the NWO scum…”

With all due respect, if I may, but it is consequential to the NWO, imo. If they can get the trucking industry off the roads transporting most of the goods related to the pet industry it would be a major coup for them. They can move on to influence other industries, if they aren’t already. The list on their Agenda is likely very long.

It’s all about power, you see. Their power.

Yes, Venezuela here we come, I’m afraid. Worst of all, is that most people aren’t even aware of what’s coming down the pike, sad to say.

        1. During the mid-1980s, Dr. Fruit Fly hosted a TV documentary series on CBC (where else?). I never watched it because, by then, I’d surmised that he was, quite simply, an over-educated twit.

My mother did, though, and one chapter outraged her. The doc insisted that it was cruel for humans to keep housepets and the critters should be allowed a free-range existence. By that time, my mother had become quite attached to the first dachshund in the family and the thought of the dog being force to live out there, free from any human domination, was abhorrent.

No, the leftist elites want to take even our basic joys from us, part of the “in 10 years, you will own nothing”. So much for the “and you will be happy” bit, eh?

          1. Lefties who have a dim view about life are the ones who’ve never lived life to the fullest. These people need counseling, not that it would help.

        2. The sheeple simply refuse to believe that it will happen. Or, hopping they can somehow run out the clock.

    2. The wife “inherited” my aunt’s mink 3/4 length coat. Besides being 1/3 too big, it too is heavy, though very warm.
I thought all liberals were “Shameless”?
What will become of the worldwide doggie rescue biz?
An acquaintance runs a pet supply business, did $2M last year in Cochrane!

      1. You wrote:
“I thought all liberals were “Shameless”?”

I wrote @1:21 pm to the gentleman, John Bosley:
“imo, if they can get the trucking industry off the roads transporting ‘most’ of the goods related to the pet industry it would be a major coup for them….”

Imo, the key word is “most”… the ” Shameless” will have pets. The rest of us, the poor, tired, and sick, will likely get free tickets to visit pets at the local city Zoo.

The rescue businesses will likely be taken over by the government as a make-work project if not slow right down, imo, some animals get to go to the newly expanded Zoo, another. Gov make-work project.

        Just my opinion, of course.

P.S. My friend with the coat said she was nice and toasty in her beautiful coat. Couldn’t blame her, have you ever spent a Winter in the Maritimes? I did. Eighteen of them. So brrrrrrr—ya wanna die!

    3. I agree, that as predicted, the pet industry is the next thing the Greenies will target. Will it be eliminated entirely, probably not, but it likely will be severely curtailed.

Yup. This sort of thing is bad for the planet:

      https://rumble.com/v3y14v-german-shepherd-dog-greeting-owner.html

      https://rumble.com/vcmpxz-after-2-weeks-apart.html

Maybe by the time that happens, my canine step-brother will have gone to his final reward. (From those videos, you can imagine what he’s like whenever his owner brings him to my house in B. C.)

      1. Eventually it will become necessary to get rid of those carbon spewing greenies.

        1. Those that created those “greenies” have already effectively done that. How many greenies are there that are unvaxxed? People REALLY do nor grasp whats going on here, and its WAAAY beyond your silly, engineered, right/left boogyman fake ideological paradigm. The “divide” phase is winding down, they are in “conquer”.

      2. Yes, we must s-a-v-e …the Planet!

Holey Kow!!! That was so cute! Love those! I’d put words to what I just saw…but too many tears, boo-hoo! Lucky you, you still have your family pet. Thanks for the videos, B! (and …movie links too!)

        1. You’re welcome.

If you think that money can’t buy you love, you haven’t had a dog.

(I made a longer response a few hours earlier, but it appears that it ended up in moderation limbo.)

    4. N R …A couple of my nephews in NFLD worked at a mink farm while in High School, in the Lewisport area. I don’t know if it is still in operation or not.

      1. Maybe they hide the mink farms in the woods someplace. I lived in N.B. didn’t hear of any but they were probably there, too.

  13. She really is Dr. Bonnie Bullshit?!

How come the mink are to be sacrificed – but not until 2025(??) yet the coyotes in Stanley Park are to be protected?

    1. Bitch Bonnie Heinrich has now extended her domain into the veterinary world.

I have seen no evidence of massive mink populations clogging up veterinary hospital ICUs.

The missing mink link is only found in her brain fogged cranium.

This isn’t evidence based policy, just fictitious invention by her Covid plagued mind fog.

This incendiary cow move is typical of political hacks believing their own BULLSHIT press releases.

Bonnie Bonehead, yer useless and should have been fired long ago.

      Cheers

  14. Covid doesn’t exist, the flu does and there are NO Vaccines. There are no variants, because there has been no isolated virus to prove there ever was such a thing. The challenge is out there, prove it. Blather about corona viruses is BS, this could be stopped tomorrow and maybe we could save some lives of people who will be killed by a not-vaccine. Don’t bother responding to me, respond to medical professionals who have already proven the lie that there is special killer, designer virus.

  15. if people really believe this is some stupid right/left PETA thing about taking away their pets, we REALLY ARE finished. This is about the same thing GMO’s, patenting the food supply, getting rid of seed cleaners, and buying up all the farm land is about. People REALLY need to get their heads out, or they well be EATING those dogs and cats they are so worried about. WAKE UP! The lemming doesn’t see the cliff, he only sees the backside of the lemming in front of him.

    1. We are preaching to the choir here.
Reason everyone comes here is cause of like minded thinking.
It’s an echo chamber of sorts.
If we really want to change things we need to tell it far and wide.
But what did that get Jesus ?
      Hanging on a cross butchered.
Doing something about it is not for the squeamish.

At the 100,000 foot level just about everyone on here gets where all this is going.
It’s nice to bitch from time to time but very soon action needs to be taken.
In for a penny, in for a pound.

  16. L – Canada’s Public Health officers are not qualified for their position. Let alone to govern each province and the federal government. Nor do they have the Constitutional authourity to do so.

Between the Safety “Nazis” and the bought and paid for MSM’s Mass Anxiety programing. The
polling has the politicians paralyzed by fear, too. A Premier who replaced the Public Safety Officer with someone competent (e.i. similar to Dr. Joseph Lapado in Florida). While decreeing there would be free and open debate between researchers and physicians, using the scientific method, to guide policy. Public Health Policy will not be based on fear.

If they want public support they need to show leadership, not operate as surrender monkeys
to the inept, corrupt and possibly malevolent.

P.S. Yes, there are wild animal reservoirs for the SARS 2.0 virus. That is one more reason why
it can’t be eliminated. It’s endemic, learning to live with it requires developing as much natural acquired immunity as possible. While protecting the vulnerable with effective therapeutics. We’re likely at 30-50% or higher for acquired immunity now. That is why the “Public
Health” policy does not include testing to measure that.

How did the stupidest people come to rule Canada? Don’t answer that… bring it to an end.

Self-government or tyrannical government? Responsibility or Bondage? Courage or fear?

  17. Bonnie’s pissed.
She was expecting a mink coat but got a cheap Chinese fake fur one instead. $198.29.
    I mean, she’s a celebrity now!!!

  18. This is just thinly disguised tyranny. Neither of these women are knowledgeable about farming or breeding animals. I do not even think Henry knows much about viruses. Truly Agenda21, Great Reset stuff. What’s next? They are destroying oil and gas, lumber, now agriculture. The future is looking very grim. Going after mink farms is pretty low key, as I don’t think there is a huge demand, but I am worried about their next moves.
