October 16, 2021: Reader Tips

Before there was Matt Damon, there was another version of The Bourne Identity. Released in 1988, and starring Richard Chamberlain, this adaptation of the first book in the Bourne trilogy is quite interesting too.

Your most harrowing tips of the past day are most warranted!

    1. I wonder if we can pet it, here boy….. lol. That’s right up there with “Alright we know the serial killer is in the house, let’s split up.”

  1. Calgary Mayoral Election – Public Service Announcement

There are two front runners, Jeromy Farkas and Jyoti Gondek. I noticed that CBC seemed to be running hit pieces on Jeromy. The headline is OK:
Farkas accuses City of Calgary officials of ‘skimming money’ from developers

…but the sub header contains CBC’s perspective.
“Opponents say comment shows how if elected mayor, Jeromy Farkas will have troubles at city hall”
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/mayoral-forum-election-farkas-1.6208653

Farkas is pro-developers (big business) so he must be stopped. Tonight I heard another reason why CBC likes the other front runner, Jyoti. She literally said she wants to emulate police defunding, just like Portland, Oregon:
“‘Overworked, overwhelmed and burned out’: Why Portland cops say they’re leaving in droves”
    https://www.oregonlive.com/crime/2021/04/overworked-overwhelmed-and-burned-out-why-portland-cops-say-theyre-leaving-in-droves.html

If you can vote Monday, Vote for Farkas or Calgary will end up left of Nenshi…

    1. In Edmonton, my choice for mayor would be Mike Nickel. He’s the only remotely conservative candidate as the rest are lefties.

      1. BAD – Jyoti, the progressive favourite in Calgary, wants to defund the police so that may be why the media have been trying to bury this story (worthy of the category “Riding public transit is like…”):

‘No clear motive:’ Suspect in custody after 4 injured in violent attacks (with a machete) in downtown Calgary

        Calgary will be Seattle North…
        https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/no-clear-motive-suspect-in-custody-after-4-injured-in-violent-attacks-in-downtown-calgary/ar-AAPySRh?ocid=msedgntp

        1. I think we’ve got one like that here in Edmonton, but, aside from Nickel, I haven’t paid much attention. The other candidates look like the rogue’s gallery at an NDP gathering, a rather unpalatable lot.

    2. The unions have been allowed to put millions of dollars into their chosen candidates, the machines of the Marxists are stearing the direction the cities are going, and it is towards what we now see happening world wide.

Loss of freedoms, coersion, and bullying.

Free stuff and mandatory compliance taking the jab and vaccine passports in order to do business is the direction of Gondak.

She is a freakin’ loon (no disrespect to loons intended or implied). Life under her leadership will be like living in Australia.

      1. Glacierman – Loss of freedoms, coersion, and bullying She’s probably pro-Choice, with the choice being higher property taxes or unrepayable debt (or both)…

    3. Gondek is the union approved candidate. Of course the corrupt MSM is going to go after Farkas. More reason to vote Farkas.

    4. From a Farkas pamphlet or phone call (all portions including attempted memory of his quote are paraphrased): Calgary has the most generous retiring politician retirement plan in Canada. “I opted out, it will cost me a lot of money in the long run.” For each one dollar from the politician there are five dollars from the taxpayer. It’s not sustainable. Calgary payouts per politician are more than Vancouver, Edmonton, and Ottawa combined.

I don’t know if it’s as sweet a deal for city employees, but union members will expect more raises and benefits from the candidate of Big Government.

    5. Already done. There were a couple of candidates that I would have considered but it’s clearly Farkas v. Gondek and we can’t afford Barney 2.0

On a related note: pre election; Calgarians “Our Council really sucks”. Election polling has top 3 as current councillors.
Gawd,PT was right except for the fact his every minute calculation might be too generous

  2. I watched last night’s movie offering Special Mission Lady Chaplin:

    https://youtu.be/Ghwnn0OG2as

earlier this evening. It’s kitschy fun, the sort of stuff that TCM Underground doesn’t show as often any more. Fans of Bond movies may recognize Daniela Bianchi, who plays the lead character. She was the blonde Bond girl in From Russia With Love who spent more time trying to seduce him than in handing over the Soviet code machine.

That page had a link to So Darling, So Deadly (also known in English as Agent Joe Walker: Operation Far East:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfXr6lwJfuY

I’m watching it as I’m writing this.

    1. LindaL – That news article was posted earlier today by OJ, at least the CBC version. Very timely article.

  3. This should scare the shit out of you.

“We had covert resources there, which for the most part, the general public would have never known that we were in attendance there. We were gathering intelligence and identifying violations,” he said.

    https://panow.com/2021/09/28/tickets-will-be-laid-saskatoon-police-mayor-on-ppc-election-night-rally/

The Saskatoon mayor in full bloom.

“Even just shutting off all the lights and power, something along those lines. It’s always easy to try and quarterback these after the fact.”

    https://saskatoon.ctvnews.ca/saskatoon-police-seeking-help-to-identify-15-people-who-allegedly-violated-covid-19-restrictions-at-ppc-rally-1.5623680

    https://saskatoonpolice.ca/form/identify

I see George Orwell. Know that bastard well, and did my civic duty to identify as such. You?

    1. And to think that when I moved there almost 40 years ago to the day, one of the biggest concerns was whether to allow late-night shopping on Fridays.

        1. When I moved back to Edmonton in late 1983, stores were allowed to remain open late on both Thursday and Friday nights. I imagine that’s changed since then.

    2. How about a slightly different version of poll watching?

      https://saskatoonpolice.ca/form/identify

That last one looks like Charlie Clark? Zachary Jeffries? Bev Dubois? Hilary Gough? Or some senior bureaucrats, who are the real problem, not just the voted in losers who can’t stand up to them?

I see them all, maybe it’s just me.

    3. The local liberal candidate didnt get elected. Pictures in the local paper show people w/o masks, etc. Contacted him and a letter to the editor, no reply. So I contacted the municipal covid snitch line. I haven’t heard anything yet. Felt rather sleazy.

    4. I think one is Bernie Saunders. Another one looks like Chief “Starvation Diet”.

There are a few Trudeau cabinet members in there also, maybe.

      Mischief is important.

    5. Canada’s own Stasi. Looking for snitches, yet! Any sense of community and mutual support is being destroyed.

    6. Yea…..I’ve Identified as well:

I’m Trans Vaxxed as I “Identify” as Fully Vaxxed
My ProNouns are Up yours and Fk off.
have a nice day now….ta ta

The marxists can kiss my (_i_).

  4. I was just curious how a man can contract a Urinary Tract Infection that goes into a full blown sepsis infection that puts a famous, rich, and pampered man like Bill Clinton into the ICU for a week? So I did a quick search and found …

Indulging in anal sex, (urethra comes in contact with undesired bacteria)- Especially, the E. coli bacteria found in the anus, when enters the urinary system makes a person prone to developing a urinary infection.

Now, tonight, the Irvine hospital reveals that Clinton’s original infection came from E.coli … uggh. I won’t go full Pizzagate on anyone … but … what does Bill Clinton DO on a West Coast Holiday? Is he reuniting with some of those Haitian border jumpers?

    1. My grandpa nearly died from that, I can assure you he is not engaged in anal sex or any type of sex for that matter.

      Same thing, UTI to sepsis.

    2. What about the vaccines? I recently read a Dr. report on what was happening to her patients. I recall some overlap with what is described here.

    1. Saw this, few others did. Good on you for spreading it, picking away at the bullshit.

Besides, I naturally support those that are up late.

      1. Reminds me of how Howie is doing with his germaphobia?
Has this Pandemic put him over the edge yet?

    2. Australian government also tried fake COVID scenes. They recorded a lady who was intubated and allegedly dying of WhuFlu. The problem was that she was making crying noises while intubated. Your larynx does not work when a tube goes through it.

  5. Reminder – Alberta Voters – Monday Oct. 18/21
Vote for Senate Candidates: You can select three people.
Fortunately People’s Party Of Canada has three candidates.
No need to worry about vote splitting since Bongo won’t ever accept either a PPC or PC Party person selected by voters.

(I often use “Bongo”. Works well in polite society, often brings a smile. Forget which humorous SDA person conjured it. Thanks!)

    1. AB Trapper… the gentleman who came up with the very funny and appropriate moniker, “Bongo”… best name for the Turdhole by far… “Bongo”. Bongo the Dictator.

    2. Voted for all 3 – as did the Wife.
      Voted for Farkas
Voted for Dar Zuch (School Brd Trustee)…who should be on this blog..!!
Voted for a Russian Guy who left the USSR to come here….

To hell with the REST…all varying shades of Green & Red.

  6. 1000 HORSEPOWER 57 CHEVY BURNOUT.
This is a nice car, with an awesome blower. American-metal design like you can’t get anywhere else. Turbo’s nice but I’d rather be blown, used to be a saying. The burnout is only a few seconds of the 7+ minutes but it sure purrs nice.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxGPAUNbfic

    1. I burned out a brand new leaf blower in about 20 seconds when I found out one of my electric plug in was wired incorrectly and pushing out 220 volts. Brought it back to crappie tire for a replacement as it was only a couple hours old.
      How’s that possible?
Simple, the little metal tab between a safety plug wasn’t clipped from a 3 wire line making the two 110 volt hot lines into a 220 voltage outlet.

      1. Jojo – Now that is a Reader’s Tip. Sounds like you have a new house, or at least a new outlet. People come to SDA for Kate’s biting prosaic headlines and unique-perspective articles, and stay for the tips.

      2. Got to question that one Jojo.
The second hot would have to be on the neutral side to give you 240V across a 115V plug.
And the white (neutral) would need to be isolated from either hot to prevent the breaker from tripping.

So you would need someone who cannot tell white from red who did break out the link on the duplex receptacle, or someone who should be never allowed near wiring unsupervised.
That said, you have to love Cambodian Tires replacement policy.
Wonder what their junk would cost if they really cared?

        1. Power plugs uses 3 wires so that your toaster and coffee pot doesn’t keep tripping the breaker.
Most house wiring is 2 wire black/white and ground. Bathrooms and kitchen usually are 3 wire, red/black/white with ground wire as well. Black and red on one side and white on the other side won’t trip the breaker but will create the 240 voltage until you break the copper piece to make it two 110 voltage power plugs.

          1. Jojo.
            Hate to be a pain.
But no break copper piece( the link) Breaker go bamm, as you have a direct short between red and black..which had better be fed from each leg of your panel with that 2 pole breaker.
What you describe should not be.
For the male cord end plugs into the white and a hot(120V).
As an Electrician..My original comment should have been “Call One”.
And if your electrician wired that plug..Call a different one.

  7. From Blacklock’s
The Public Health Agency of Canada is reviewing reports of 195 deaths of people who took Covid shots. The Agency said it was not proven all 195 fatalities were caused by vaccines though it budgeted for a $75 million compensation fund including payment of burial expenses.

The agency said it was aware of 4,675 adverse effects.

    1. Bricks are crumbling on the wall of state censored bullshit.
Then there is this, from msm:
      https://www.cnbc.com/2021/10/15/heart-inflammation-risk-in-young-adults-caused-by-mrna-covid-booster-continues-to-worry-scientists-dr-levy-says.html
“As we go into younger and younger age groups, they’re less and less at personal risk of severe Covid, and on the other hand, somewhat more at risk of this inflammatory heart condition with the mRNA vaccine,”
God knows how many children have been sacrificed on the altar of conformity.

      1. Canadians are so stupid they are willing to kill their children out of fear of a virus that has, or maybe we should say had, a 99.9% recovery rate. We have no idea how many the vaxxes will kill and maim.

        1. VOWG —

Thinking back to a time in our fairly recent history when Governments isolated immigrants for a period in quarantine for suspected tuberculosis or other diseases…

At present, knowing our history, if everyone had said to themselves, their families, their peers, their employers, and various associates– a resounding “no thanks” to the CV-19 injections, and that we the people, “usually isolate and take to our beds with flu remedies until we are better,” we wouldn’t be in this mess!

The Governments would’ve had to have thrown away all those CV-19 doses, face public embarrassment and eventually be voted out in shame for attempted crimes against Humanity.

P.S. see Robert’s post at 5:47 am. The short presentation is emotional but powerful. The speaker is pointing to what is presently happening around the globe.

        2. Canadians are gullible and easily swayed, manipulated. TPTB will study Canaderp in depth to use the strategy elsewhere again, since it worked so well here.
A compliant, simple, easily scared population of spineless latte sippers.

        3. VOWG….

The Canary in the Coal mine will be BC.

And I’d warrant that the mass slug of insipid Idiots in the lower MAOland will be lining up to inoculate their Preschoolers/Kindergarten kids. I’m convinced that many of those children will be “sacrificed” & DIE…..on Bonnie Henrys Covid Altar.

One would hope that just might flip the Switch…..to Huh..wtf..??
But nothing is certain with those UTTERLY convinced this Zyklon B shot is their Salvation….as convinced as were the Jews that they were going to work Camps..

          Cause well..?? Arbeit Macht Frie…right.??

  8. The FBI is America’s Praetorian Guard. Only acceptable political candidates will be allowed. Trump was not acceptable. The FBI was happy to run with the scurrilious Russia Investigation, and use Trump associates to try to get President Trump.

    https://amgreatness.com/2021/10/14/was-january-6-part-of-the-fbis-operation-cold-snap/

In June 2020, a guy named Stephen Robeson held a “National Militia Conference” in Ohio. He pestered ppl tied to “militia” groups around the country to go. But Robeson isn’t a militiaman —he’s a longtime FBI informant.

The event was part of Operation Cold Snap, an FBI gig started in spring 2020 to infiltrate “individuals…discussing the violent overthrow of certain government and law enforcement components.” Not antifa or BLM. Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, Three Percenters. Same guys at J6

    https://twitter.com/julie_kelly2/status/1448997301339533314

    1. This is an excellent presentation– one must always stand firm with one’s beliefs.
      Thanks Robert.

      1. Nancy today an article that a state in Germany, will allow stores to no longer sell food to those who are not vaccinated.
This is how Genocides begin. Never again is here AGAIN.
People have to become UNGOVERNABLE. The Camps and the Train Rides are next.
Get Your Star of David Ready To Sew Onto Your Clothes, ie; Down Load your Vax App if you want to eat. No Vax Not Your Day To Eat. It Is A Pretty Violent Statement of Intent To Commit Genocide When You Tell People NO YOU CAN NOT EAT.

  9. House of Commons to be expanded to 342 seats from 338.

Alberta will get 3 extra seats, from 34 to 37.
BC goes from 42 to 43.
    Ontario from 121 to 122.
Quebec loses a seat, from 78 to 77.

This is the first time in 55 years that a province has actually lost a seat. That’s because Harper changed the unfair distribution formula that left fast-growing provinces heavily underrepresented for decades.

This will be the first time that Canada West (of Ontario) will have more seats than Canada East (of Ontario), 111 to 109. It will also be the first time that Alberta and BC combined will have more seats than Quebec, 80 to 77. In other words the HoC will finally reflect Canadian demographic reality.

Sadly, this important change may be Harper’s only lasting legacy. Everything else he did was basically wiped clean in the first couple weeks of the Trudeau regime.

    https://www.cp24.com/news/new-electoral-boundaries-strip-quebec-of-a-seat-gives-alberta-3-more-1.5625103

    1. Harper increased the HoC from 308 to 338 MPs (Mostly Parasites).

Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.

      1. It would have been preferable if he reduced the total number of seats, but some provinces have guaranteed minimums so the only way to fairly distribute the seats is by expanding the HoC.

What he should have done was fix the unfair distribution of seats in the Senate and on the Supreme Court. The Senate could be fixed by simply reducing New Brunswick and Nova Scotia’s seats from 10 each to 6 each, and increasing BC and Alberta’s seats to 10 each, up from 6.

This wouldn’t change the total number of seats, nor any other provinces share of the total. It would be far easier to do than the Triple-E formula, which besides being politically impossible would give Atlantic Canada (7% of the population and 5% of the GDP) 40% of the seats.

On the Supreme Court, Quebec is constitutionally guaranteed 3 out of 9 seats owing to the French language and civil code there. Ontario has no such guarantees but traditionally gets 3 seats as well. This could be changed to 2 for Ontario, and one each for BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba combined, and Atlantic Canada.

That would give Alberta roughly 10%, and Western Canada as a whole one-third of the 3 most important federal institutions, the HoC, Senate, and SCC. In other words relative fairness for the first time in Canadian history. Harper should be credited with fixing the HoC, but he inexplicably failed to reform the Senate and Supreme Court.

  10. Book reviews in the bought and paid for media, usually revolve around stories with gay, global warming, Indian, or socialist themes. However Blacklock every weekend reviews interesting books that you may or may not disagree with, but are worth reading. This weekend’s review is on a book that compares China and 1930’s fascism.

  11. How BBC News (who are as bad as CNN and CBC) dances around the subject of yesterday’s fatal stabbing from UK:

Excerpts below from this link: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-58935372

“The force believes the man, who is in custody:
    – acted alone but inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are continuing
    – he is a British national who, from initial inquiries, appears to be of Somali heritage
    – was not on a database of terror suspects.”

“the killing of Sir David Amess was an act of terrorism confirms that, on the basis of what they know so far, the killer was motivated to use violence to further their cause.” No shit, yelling “Allahu Akbar” with a knife in your hand appears to be motivation to use violence to further your cause! Wow, smart guys!

“…there would need to be more resources thrown at the investigation” Of course, to investigate who that individual named Allahu Akbar is and what is the connection with the “British national of Somali heritage” in custody.

“The Met later said the fatal stabbing was being declared a terrorist incident, with the investigation being led by Counter Terrorism Policing. Police added: “The early investigation has revealed a potential motivation linked to Islamist extremism.”” Got it, right? “Early investigation”. Because it’s complicated to ascertain motive, facts when some Islamist moron kills in cold blood in a public setting. And “potential motivation linked to Islamic extremism” Wow, such harsh words, “Islamic extremism”?!? The 2 ‘journalists’ who wrote this garbage should be reprimanded. Since it’s ‘early investigation’ and ‘more resources needed’ how come they came to the conclusion that it was ‘Islamic extremism’? And who authorized use of these 2 words together in the 1st place?

    Solution?

“…recommend MPs temporarily stop having face-to-face meetings with constituents”

The West, the whole Western Civilization is f*cked.

    1. You would be the only one not to know of the animosity between the two, mainly from Takai’s side, which dates back to the time of the Star Trek show itself.

      1. Couldn’t get over the fact that Shatner was a star and Takai had 3 lines per show. Shatner treated him like shit because he was shit.

    2. Sulu was the lamest member of Kirk’s crew. He should have been demoted to a red shirt, and sent down to a planet to get killed by aliens like all the other red shirts.

      1. His character in The Green Berets, on the other hand, got killed.

Takei must have kept his inclinations well-hidden when he made that movie, considering that it was produced by the Duke’s company.

A few years earlier, Tommy Kirk (who had been in a number of Disney films) was sacked from another JW movie, The Sons of Katie Elder, when it became known that he was, well, you know. (Disney canned him as well.) He was replaced by Michael Anderson, Jr. (Bugler Ryan in Major Dundee and Doc in Logan’s Run).

  12. The wise one speaks…check out Rex Murphy’s article today:

“Because COP26 is about global warming. Which is as an elixir, a magic wand, a fiat from Zeus himself, against every reality. As energy supplies dry up, as green policies advance ruin upon the economies of nations, as prices inflate and gasoline costs soar, the ludicrously righteous assembly in Glasgow gets exempted from the plague of all the rules and regulations imposed with force of law and threat of job loss on everyone else but them.”

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-its-a-miracle-apparently-climate-crusaders-are-immune-to-covid

  13. I found it strange that the CBC’s bag over the head muslim news host, interviewed three mentally ill transgenders. Why didn’t the guests ask her on how Islam treats transgenders. It usually involves throwing them off rooftops.

    1. I wonder if you put a machete in her hands and her genetic heritage may have kicked in?
It would certainly draw the viewership back.

  14. Happy birthday to you!
    You escaped from a zoo
    You look like a dachshund,
And you sound like one, too!

Happy 12th to my canine stepbrother. I hope to see you in a few days time and we’ll play a few rounds of “go und get it”.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99s0tVk7s24

      1. I now notice that I inadvertently identified myself as a YouTube URL…..

On behalf of my K9 step-brother, I thank you. I’m sure he’s going to be excited and jumping with joy when he comes to the door of the house.

I’m also sure he’s going to enjoy his present. Any gift that smells of me always gets more attention. That seems to be a family dachshund tradition.

There’s gonna be a lot of barking and squeaking in a few days time…..

    1. As I’m doing my regular Saturday morning dusting and hoovering, I’m listening to Channel 76/Symphony Hall on SiriusXM.

The host of The Saturday Show mentioned that two famous people also have their birthday today. One is Oscar Wilde (1854) with the other is Baroque composer Jan Zelenka (1679).

    1. S.L.B.C.D.B.

      • Play a mean game of Canasta.
      • Etc.

      1. Now we know and understand how the desperate Hebrews must have felt inside NAZI/SOCIALIST Germany leading up to the war and the holocaust.
As they tried to desperately escape the approaching doom. Who can we get to stamp our vax card. Or a nurse to perhaps inject saline instead of the poison goo.
The Unvaxxed may as well start sewing the Star of David on their clothing now. Because we are there now. The NEVER AGAIN TIME IS NOW.
When the state can pass laws allowing the deliberate starvation of citizens, we are going down hill into GENOCIDE.
Prepare to Fight Back Much Like The Partisan of WW2
Problem Nancy is the Covid Murders are Supported By Our NAZI CHIEF TYRANTS, Trudeau, Kenney etc. And their complicit propagandists of the MSM who they control.

        1. The prisoners who miraculously survived WW2 eventually wrote their stories — read the ones I could get my hands on.

But the RATS today have been promised a survival pass. Likely some of these too wiĺl perish once their usefulness has expired unless they’ve reached billionaire status.

Our guy probably has that. Likely bought that private island that he visited down in the Carribean. Just a guess.

          P.S.
Try to relax more. Chance of dying of old age yet. I’m starting to a bit!!

    1. That was a good one. I am concerned, though, that the government is still failing to acknowledge the problems with these vaccines. Many of the negative side effects are from the harm to the immune system and are not being acknowledged as vacvine related — period . . . upticks in cancers, organ failure, infections and deaths from various factors.

    1. To clarify, as many as two million soldiers were killed across the whole length and breadth of the Napoleonic Wars, not in any single battle.

    1. As one of my senior undergraduate year profs was fond of saying, “Close enough for government work.”

  15. “Alarming effects of hate on women in journalism.”
By Jamie Irving and Paul Deegan.
This ran in my local paper,so I looked it up online,it is a synchronized talking point.
Run in papers all over Canada.
What a bunch of pathetic scumbags.
    Hiding behind their female comrades.
Oh yes, they “believe” in free speech..well only for them..not you.
Poor wee script writers of Government Propaganda, setting the stage for Emperor Justine’s draconian censorship of all criticism.
