Immunity debt is a fancy way of saying you’ve lost herd immunity to something. That’s the hypothesis anyways. Summer “colds”, in the tropics and subtropics, are caused by corona viruses, where I am; so we are, maybe, seeing a true rise here. That said, when dealing with syndromes, of which the common cold is one; there are multiple causes of these, so RSV can be one of them, among others.

In 2009, the year of the swine flu, my eight year old son’s Halloween costume was being boy who didn’t wash his hands after going to the bathroom. Needless to say, people were scared! This year, it will be maskless children people will be scared of!
