      I suspect that after Inauguration Day the pandemic will be over as well. Except of course in those places that need to limit people’s movement, just in case.

  3. The hypocrisy is obvious to anyone who cares to look. Trump has exposed the press for the liars they are and the Democrats for the cheats they are. Even if they remove Trump from the White House, the movement is not dead. Trump was just the leader after the Tea Party, not the founder nor the movement’s messiah.

    Canada is a dream country you could invade as we have very few weapons and turning the US the same would benefit China.

  8. The most thoughtless and ugliest event yesterday was the Assholes returning to the ‘Hallowed Halls of Power’ showing that the “Mob” was never going to deter them from their sacred duty!

    For 5 years the Dems tried to steamroller a duly elected President! They tried everything! Up to and including the impeachment, which delayed the interception of the Chinaflu! Everything!
    And a number of thousands of people show up to express their displeasure over the stolen (yeah, Stolen!) election and are infiltrated by the anarchists, and the politicos are going to ‘Show them who is Boss’! They’re a MOB! They can never win!
    24 hours to settle down would have hurt no one!
    I think back to “The Pig Trap” that I read about here on SDA some time back (Thanks again, Kate) and the Fare in the cab telling the driver that taking a hundred or so people out into the street and shooting them would serve to clean things up. The hundred or so has risen dramatically and the same should happen up here north of the border!

    Three by natural causes and the other suspiciously shot by Capitol guards.
    All after and despite the nation enduring months of rioting and looting by selfish and violent useful idiots of fascist collectivism.
    Followed by the biggest election gong show in the nation’s history, real banana republic stuff, quite Soviet.
    Americans under their system voted, whether by consent of the governed or not, for a one party federal state.
    Trump and his hard core supporters will go home and move on. Most of the GOP did so a while ago.
    There will be no four year temper tantrum and witch hunts from outgoing administration apparatchiks. Unless?
    We will know they still fear Trump if they continue to “investigate” him. If they do, he will humiliate them in discovery.
    We will also know the globalists and warmongering buddies own us if Biden dismantles Trump progress with Sunni states.
    That would provoke a showdown with Iran, so China. Biden, Kerry appeasement types are on a fool’s errand.
    Peace must flow through corrupt ME terrorists, like the Iranian theocrats, Assad, the PLO, Hezbollah and Hamas.
    Apparently not. To me the question is how badly DeMarxists will fumble that ball, their eye off it chasing climate and gender.
    There is a ray of hope. DeMarxists may be far too busy robbing the Treasury to screw things up too badly. One can hope.

  13. I was at the Capitol protest yesterday, in the very front of the crowd. The police panicked at the size of the approaching crowd (300,000 to 400,000?), and the very first thing they did (to a mellow, peaceful, Grateful Dead concert like crowd), was to hose us with pepper spray, shoot us with pepper-paintballs and hard projectiles, and hurl flash-bang grenades. I know this, because along with hundreds of other peaceful protesters, I was hit with pepper spray, pepper-paintballs, and plastic projectiles filled with birdshot (thankfully I was not hit by a flash-bang).

    This was an exceptionally diverse crowd of rock solid, ‘salt-of-the-earth’ middle class Americans. Every ethnic and social group from all over the country was there: African Americans, Chinese Americans, Korean Americans, Vietnamese Americans, Cuban Americans, Venezuelan Americans, Iranian Americans, and you get it… There were gay people, straight people, in-between people, and a few ‘hard to pigeon-hole’ people. The crowd included multigenerational families, (from great-grandmothers on down to newborns), and many, many veterans.

    The effect of the unprovoked attack was like throwing gasoline on a smoldering fire. The atmosphere changed from a Grateful Dead show to a mosh pit, and it turned very ugly very fast. People were seething with anger and the police were forced to up the ante in their attacks. When the pepper spray gave way to tear gas, it was time to leave. I did not participate with break in, and I don’t condone it in any way, but I understand!

    Yesterday was a bitter, eye-opening civics lesson. Everything I was taught about the United States of America is a lie. Your vote doesn’t count, your opinion doesn’t matter, and if you dare exercise your first amendment right to petition your government for a redress of grievances, your government will attack and even kill you. Your Constitutional rights are a myth. Ashli Babbit, an unarmed veteran who put her life on the line for this country, was murdered by the very government she fought for, in the Capitol building of the very country she fought for, and a large part of our country thinks that’s just fine.

    This is the State of The Union in 2021 and it makes me sick.

My thinking is this will not end well for the US or for us here in Canada.

      1. lance: No doubt. As I said I don’t condone breaking into the capital. Myself and many others who were there made the conscious decision to leave as things began to spiral out of control. Good for President Trump for making this statement and shame on the main stream media and tech companies who censored it.

  15. LJH, yes thanks for the info. I should be down south right now (Az) but with the Chinapox lockdowns, etc., nope! And yeah, I fear for the continent. The shooting was terrible and as I said above, 24 hours to cool off could have, and would have done wonders. But no! Damn the mob, we must power thru. That was no mob!
