    1. Ah, “quelle surprise”, indeed. I’ll expect to see him as a regular contributor on CNN any day now.

  1. From Ambassador Baucus’ biography (note particularly the last sentence): https://www.uschamber.com/ambassador-max-baucus

Ambassador Baucus currently lives in Bozeman, Montana, where he and his wife, Melodee Hanes, have formed a consulting firm, Baucus Group LLC. Ambassador Baucus provides consulting services to American and Chinese businesses and serves on the Board of Directors of Ingram Micro and the Board of Advisors to Alibaba Group. He additionally serves on the External Advisory Board to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.

    1. Lev, NO not at all, the logan act is for when some one pretends to represent the USA government, when they don’t

this clown is more of a traitor, and one has to wonder if O’Butthole stashing money in various government agencies while he was in power is what is being used to pay these traitors

  2. Baucus hasn’t realized that McCarthy was right about communist infiltration. Comparing Trump to Hitler is getting more than a little tiresome – maybe comparing Baucus to Quisling would be more appropriate.

  3. The second they say Hitler we know they’re either idiots or fascists, or probably both. No need to listen further.

  4. McCarthy failed in his attempt to stop commie infiltration. To be successful in such an endeavor, one has to be more like Putin, disappearing, imprisoning and/or just plain out killing those who are a threat to the nation.

    1. Or any Latin American patriot in uniform who actually succeeded in stamping out communist subversion and made sure it stayed stamped out.

Leftists still resent General Pinochet for killing thousands of their comrades and fellow-travellers and sending hundreds of thousands more into exile, and after he retired persecuted him for the rest of his life.

You know why? Because it worked.

You’ll know we’ve turned the corner when Canadian leftists are leaving daily in the thousands, with passports clearly stamped NOT GOOD FOR RE-ENTRY TO CANADA. BEARER UNABLE TO PRODUCE SIGNED PERMISSION FROM MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS TO RE-ENTER CANADA TO BE DENIED ENTRY AND SUMMARILY RETURNED TO POINT OF ORIGIN AT OWN EXPENSE.

The number of incorrigible leftists Pinochet expelled came to a good two percent of the 1973 population. Chile lost nothing of value and kept her freedom.

  5. McCarthy had it right all along but was stymied when he started peeking into the hierarchy of the military, which we now know should’ve been examined then and should be examined now as far as I’m concerned as well as all of the alphabet agencies.
Couple that with a peeved off media who never got over how Nixon handed them their ass with the Alger Hiss affair. The McCarthy’s subcommittee hearings was a direct spinoff from that episode.
Now you know why they went after Nixon with the vim and vigor they did over Watergate some years later. They have long memories when it’s convenient.
Another factoid rarely mentioned by the media is McCarthy’s close association with the Kennedy family. Bobby was diligently working with McCarthy as a lawyer during the hearings until he noticed things were going South, and jumped ship fearing the negative optics.

Oh, almost forgot. Baucus is a traitorous mutt and always has been.

  6. Hmm. One can detect some similarities with this Canadian of distinction:

“The Honourable John McCallum joined McMillan’s Hong Kong and Toronto offices as Senior Strategic Advisor on June 10, 2019. In this role, Mr. McCallum provides advice that is based on exceptional political and diplomatic insight. Having served as Canada’s ambassador to China, Mr. McCallum is an internationally recognized authority on Sino-Canadian relations. His input is invaluable to clients building business-to-business contacts and creating opportunities in both China and Canada.”
