    1. Someone better check if Blackie did not swipe those and donated to his Wuhan electorate.

  1. Not just an act of self harm.
They stopped travel from Wuhan to other parts of China long before they blocked international travel from Wuhan.
They wanted to make sure the whole rest of the world was infected and set back as well. In more civilized and less corrupt times, this would be considered an act of war against the entire world. Time to flush all the collaborators and influence agents from our government by any means necessary. I am quite willing to watch with popcorn while the phosphorescent community deals with members of cabinet and the PMO.

    1. “They wanted to make sure the whole rest of the world was infected and set back as well. ”

Bingo. This wasn’t an accident, they prefered Wuhan Flu to be the world’s problem rather than Chicom problem. That way they can shift the blame. That way, they can also manipulate their own statistics and manufacture propaganda of success. Typical Commie Behavior (TCB).

      1. If it was an act of war why are we not at war. I guess we lost already and I missed the fight.

        1. It came very close to an act of war. It effeminately points to the fact that Chicoms are the enemy and need to be treated accordingly.

    1. Low IQ people hardest hit. You import turd worlders, you get turd world. Similar patterns have been documented in US.

      1. Colonialista, the low IQ people are we Canadians who accept any and every insult to our persons and our society. What is happening is unnecessary no matter how many experts say it is.

      2. And yet the Lower Mainland is not in fact third world. Back to the drawing board, or short bus in your case.

That article was very short on evidence. Occam’s razor points to a simpler explanation: the Swedes screwed up.

        1. Ugh sure Baizuo, the Swedes screwed up which is why ICUs are disproportionately filled with Somalis. When you have 70 average IQ, there is only that much that can be explained to you about viral transmission.

On the positive side, the crime rates should go down and it may be safer for women to walk the streets at night.

  2. So while Trump announced a detailed plan to restart the economy, the Liberal Party media in Canada is silent about Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau admitting yesterday he has no plan, except to give lots of help to Quebec. We are all supposed to live in our homes on government handouts for the next couple of years. Its a socialist wet dream.

    1. Hide your cats Eastern Canada is going to have to learn how many ways to cook the neighbors cat
Because Canada is rapidly descending into Venezuela North
Hopefully this poverty and pestilence that is going to be visited on Canadians is enough to break up the Gulag and set us Albertans free.
Alberta’s best move is the 51st State in the USA. Get Smart, Get Mad, and Get Out Alberta.
Go UDI and out, of the Slave Ship Canada.

  3. Will Trudeau be heading to “the cottage” at Harrington Lake, Quebec for the weekend to be with Sophie and the kids?
Question remains, why did they take off for the cottage in the first place while telling everyone else not to?
I do hope at least one of our esteemed journalists asks him if he plans to go to “the cottage” at Harrington Lake or if they are coming back to Ottawa.
Leading by example is what matters at a time like this.

    1. Liz J, unless he is sitting in a two bedroom condo as my wife and I are, he is not leading anything. There are millions of seniors just like me.

    2. I’ll give Juthtin credit as an example to follow when the traitor hangs himself in the basement of Rideau cottage.

    1. Rex at his best:
      https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-on-covid-19-the-power-to-censor-speech-and-other-great-ideas-from-our-liberal-overlords?video_autoplay=true

He wrote: “Nor is it proper for this minority government, which has had enough struggles of its own over misinformation — on masks, on screening at airports, on our relative security from the pandemic — to decide what the rest of us can, and cannot, say or write about this unique crisis.”

Yes Sir, and that’s putting it politely.
Rex is the last of the conservative journalists, God Bless him.

  4. Blacklock reports that Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau gave forty one million dollars in foreign aid to China last year. Also the Chinese ambassador to Canada warns Canadians not to be racist bastards towards China.

    1. Dear Chinese Ambassador, Canadians are Not racist, we are just being pragmatic.
Ban Chinese large investments into Canadian companies and outright purchase/takeovers.
Ban Canadian pension plans from investing into Red China and tell the pension plan managers the Canadian government will not backstop past investments into China. Canada needs the investment going forward.
Tell Huwaei they have lost the 5G contract. Telus and Bell have 2 years to remove Huwaei gear from their systems unless cleared by 5 eyes representatives from USA
And tell the judge to put Meng Wahzoo on the next plane back home. By force if necessary.

    1. Eric Church is a man after my own heart. When the going gets tough the tough get going and they start by bringing out the old records.

  5. Heart warming story at the CBC website that Blackie’s cottage at Harrington Lake is undergoing an eight million dollar renovation. Blackie’s Whiny Indian Minister explains that Harrington Lake is where Great Leader goes to chill and not be judged for chilling.

    1. That’s because Great Leader works so tirelessly for the masses, selflessly bestowing upon us, the Unwashed, his never-ending love and guidance. Out of gratitude, we must reward him for his efforts on our behalf.

Nah. Who am I kidding? He’s just another crook, grabbing everything he can with both hands and gets away with it.

  6. You will not find what Canada’s Credit Rating is either. Since the UN was handed control of the internet the censorship on research like that is incredible.
Trudeau will have to steal from the UI Fund like Chretien and Martin did, and got away with it, rubber stamped by the Corrupt SCOC. 54B that was held in trust by Ottawa for all Canadian workers. Worker Money not Ottawa’s. And the CBC touted Chretien and Martin as a pair of economic genius’s.

  7. $17 million needed to fix up the four “cottages” at Trudeau’s summer home. But only $8.6 million in repairs are currently underway.

Apparently there is the main “cottage”, the staff “cottage”, the upper guest “cottage”, and the lower guest “cottage”.

There are lots of really nice HOMES that are built for less than $1 million, so why $17 million in repairs for four “cottages”?

Uh, I think I know the reason but I’m trying to keep my blood pressure down.

    1. The illegals are getting the same treatment here in Edmonton. The silly council almost unanimously approved letting them avail themselves of services and facilities.

I called my ward alderbeast about this. I was told by the critter that answered the telephone that Edmonton wasn’t a “sanctuary city” (oh, really?) and that the illegals needed this support. If they were sent back to their home countries, their lives might be in “danger”. (No neutral third country available?)

I cited our experiences when we came over from Germany more than 60 years ago, but, of course, that didn’t count because we used the front door to get into the country. Real “immigrants” sneak in, lie about their circumstances, and come to (what used to be) Canada simply for the free government money.

  8. One problem in Canada is our hesitancy in criticising the government response to the pandemic. At the moment, Kenney is being censured for criticising Tam. Not criticizing and basically going along with government and bureaucratic dictates is counter productive. Even our Conservative Opposition seems to acquiesce. I believe it is because Canadians themselves insist on wanting to think their government is doing what is best — even if it is not for the best. This is like the married couple who never argue. It is NOT a sign of a healthy relationship. Andrew Potter has a good article on this:
    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/andrew-potter-canada-needs-more-contrarian-thinking-on-covid-19-measures?video_autoplay=true

    1. We have this.

Trudeau states he Admires the Basic Chinese Communist Dictatorship.
Trudeau takes 1-2Million in Baksheesh from Chinese “Billionaire” .. Goes right into his personal Trust fund.
Trudeau Arrests Huawei Exec and then puts her up in Splendor at some swanky hotel while in his deference to ChiCom Directives, and thumbing the nose at the US, keeps her in Canada.
Trudeau does SFA about 2 Canadians held Hostage in Bejing…NADDA – ZIP.
Trudeau ensures our Public Health Officer is a bought and paid for member of the ChiCom controlled WHO. She sits on the 7 member “Oversight” team.
Trudeau TOTALLY Ignores CSIS warning aobut Huawei 5G installation in Canada.
Trudeau TOTALLY Ignores CAForces warning about COVID-19
Trudeau continues to allow CHINA Based flights to land at YVR, YYC & YYZ…daily with ZERO SCREENING WHATSOEVER.
Trudeau continues to allow mass migration via Rosham Rd.
TRUDEAU continues to state we will be in defacto shutdown for 12-18 months….uhuh.

And finally Trudeau now contemplating a New law that would criminalize WRONG think about Covid-19 (ie; saying its a Bio Engineered virus would be top of that list…no.?).

And where the Fk do you think that Idea came from…???
I also wonder, should that come to pass, how long before we hear of “RE-education Kampfs and the Cattle cars to haul “CRIMINALs” there.

We have a GOVT that is completely and totally under the Direction of the Communist Party of CHINA. That should be Painfully obvious to even the most DENSE in this country

Time for a MILITARY COUP or a US INvasion – I’d welcome either.

      1. Could she actually be China’s advisor to the Liberal Government? There sure has been no rush to move her to either the USA or China.

    1. Andrew Scheer had an opinion about something? Alert the press. That hasn’t happened before.

It would appear that the previous models needed to be dusted off?

  9. I guess his testicles finally dropped. Way to late for the ConCommies. Next election they could get wiped out by WEXIT voters in Alberta and Sask. The Sheep Scheerer was their last Hurrah.

Like many others commenting at the above link, I was led there by the outspoken black commentator ‘Officer Tatum’. Man, I see so many positive signs that American blacks are slowly waking up to the fact that they have unknowingly enslaved themselves on the Democrat plantation. Exciting times.

Meanwhile, the Democrats have created this crazy cycle of viciously attacking ANY dissenters to heir ideologies, and are pushing more and more people away while attracting nobody new. I salute those blacks with the courage to ‘walk away’ and then refuse to be beaten down by the targeted and focused hatemongering of racist liberals and their evil media minions for doing so.

  11. Kyle Bass had an interesting tweet about Hong Kong. Remember the Rebellion that was brewing only a few short months, and a pandemic ago?

It sounds like Carrie Lam is moving to crush the Hong Kong rebellion,

    https://mobile.twitter.com/Jkylebass/status/1250322262894370822

What does Communist China really have to lose? They are already blamed for creating the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic, and the deaths and destruction created in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. If they disappear a few thousand Hong Kongers, and what will happen? Another spate of nasty editorials condemning them? The world will be shocked, shocked by their brutality, just like they were shocked by the Chinese Communist brutality against the Uighurs too. Nothing will change. It doesn’t stop us from buying cheap Chinese knock off crud rather than spending a little more on products made in our own country or the West.

      1. “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

  12. Today Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau started off his rant by promising more stuff for Quebec. He is also sending in the army to help nursing homes in that province. Because nothing is more important than Quebec Liberal voters. He also promised more money for the arts and culture community, because we need more CBC programs. And he is giving money to Alberta to clean up those nasty abandoned oil wells. This will help indian lands and the environment. Blackie also promised money for the oil industry to fight global warming. Because as he explained we must not forget to fight climate change. He is so wonderful. Everyone in Canada loves our little dictator.

  13. “Sweden, which is an international outlier in resisting a lockdown, has suffered a much higher death toll than its Nordic neighbours, even adjusting for its population being roughly double that of Norway, Denmark or Finland. As of Wednesday, Sweden had 1,203 deaths due to coronavirus, against 143 for Norway, 309 for Denmark and 72 for Finland.”

    https://nationalpost.com/news/world/covid-19-as-swedens-death-toll-mounts-epidemiologists-urge-leaders-to-ignore-their-own-public-health-agency#comments-area

    Oops.

    1. Not necessarily oops

We need to understand what are these countries criteria for counting deaths.

      For example: France and Germany.

      France 148k cases, 18681 deaths
      Germany 140k cases 4203 deaths

I don’t know why the difference in deaths when the number of cases is similar. But I suspect there may be different criteria for COVID deaths. Or France has a lot more infections than Germany, but they haven’t been tested.

Let’s look at Spain and Portugal:

Spain 188k cases, 19513 deaths, 419 deaths per million population.

Portugal; 19k cases, 657 deaths, 64 deaths per million population

Again very interesting. Before I draw conclusions, I’d want to know more about the assumptions behind the stats.

When I was working I’d listen to my staff’s recommendations, and then I’d grill them on their assumptions.

Only now are some politicians and some health officials starting to state some of their assumptions. It’s a shame journalists aren’t grilling them on the assumptions. But then journalists don’t know how to deal with complex problems.

    1. I only go grocery shopping once a week when the store is empty. I wanted to buy something at Canadian Tire today but the parking lot was so full I passed. Is this where all the guys are spending their money since the bars closed? I guess it’s Canadian Tire tomorrow at 9:01.
