Let’s hope for more reasons than one the CCP virus is no longer too heavily with us this summer because America is going to need its full attention, or what’s left of it, for what’s coming down the pike—the Durham Report and all that entails.
That means, of course, the investigation of how and why the Mueller/Russia probe happened and whether anyone will be prosecuted for it.
Many have been skeptical that any of the possible guilty parties in this situation would be punished, but the tide toward prosecution may be turning.
There’s been a lot of media narrative groundwork laid lately that says the Feds and Steele got fooled by Russian disinformation – which is pure bullsh*t – but will be the defence of the guilty parties.
Will be tougher though to defend against the 100% FISA abuse.
Steele was the Russian disinformation to sabotage Trump. He was working for the Ruskies. It has never made sense that the Russians would prefer Trump, a nationalist, when the Ruskies had already bought and paid for the Clintons.
From what I have read there will be no Durham report, just indictments.

This may just be wishful thinking, but it is unlikely that Barr would be discussing prosecutions and “making cases” in public unless Durham really had something.
Assuming that’s the case, it’s difficult to believe that spying on a campaign was conducted without detailed knowledge by the top echelon – for starters, they signed the warrants. Hoe good is the paper trail and did Durham land credible witnesses? We’ll see.
As to the timing, it has to be sooner rather than later because Barr and Durham won’t want to be seen affecting the campaign.

It does not matter. Nobody will be charged or prosecuted in the upper levels … they are above the law, just like Hillary

Comley and others have not even been charged for their part of the FISA files on spying on Trump and others … nothing will happen. None of the main players will be charged.

Comey, Rosenstein, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, et al – the top minds in law enforcement and national intelligence – all got ‘duped’ as they’ll say, they got played. They were playing checkers while the sneaky Russians were playing chess. In other words: yes mistakes were made but like Hillary they’re all incompetent. Quite the defense but the only card left to play, I suppose, when trying to stay out of jail.
But Hillary had a cooperative AG (Lynch) and FBI Director (Comey) on her side at the time. AG Barr certainly doesn’t sound as forgiving. I do think there will be a lot of finger pointing by defendants when indictments are issued. Some will plead down to avoid embarrassing trials (and pray for clemency with a Biden administration). I can’t escape the suspicion that some key lower level witnesses and defendants will meet a certain fate, unexpectedly.
Criminal conviction has a high bar to overcome so some indictments could fail. Juicy details will emerge however in the civil trials, which are decided on weight of preponderance. Unfortunately, these could take years.
