        1. It will never wash, keeping western crude out of eastern refineries while taking their tax revenues.
          The real politic of it is the CPC doesn’t need Quebec to win a majority. Kenney will point that out as we go along.
          OTOH, the ability of real conservatives to sabotage their party is legion so this seems to be the more likely outcome.
          But, Trudeau has months to make more major mistakes. Maybe he’ll threaten to sue the Agha Khan and the RCAF.
          Or continue to tell Canadians carbon taxes are good for the economy and helps us with our gender compliance.

      1. I contacted Daniel Tyrie about this, and he told me that he has since changed and that he was caught up in a sort of undergraduate climate hysteria. Tyrie said, “[He] now views fossil fuels and pipelines in particular as necessary for both economic stability and national unity in Canada.”

        The PPC told The Rebel that they were not aware of the article written by Tyrie at the time he was hired. They added that Tyrie was with Maxime at the recent United We Roll convoy in Ottawa, and:

        “There is no reason to doubt his beliefs, which in any case cannot have any impact on PPC policies as he is only involved on the organizational side and not on policies.”

    Here is why, because the procurement process is tied to subsidizing Canadian failed business. It is a form of Corporate Welfare.
    The idea that Canada has to build every piece of military equipment is ridiculous. Enough tax dollars has been spent on luncheons for parasites to have paid for one of these aircraft off the shelf, and the bastards are still talking and sketching in 2 official languages.
    A piss ant military like Canada’s that is not designed to protect Canadian Sovereignty, but the EU’s is a joke. Our whole defense strategy is to run off to protect wealthy countries that will never protect us or come to our defense. How stupid is that idea. For get the Great Game and focus on Canada’s defense.

    1. I had not seen the Kinsella article earlier, so thanks. There was a question around why they bought the billion dollar pipeline. Someone suggested that if the own it, they can stall indefinitely. This would be a double win for the corrupt Liberals. Not only can they prevent the pipeline completion (forever if they choose), and the money to buy the pipeline was from the Bank of Montreal which now employs Mr. Bryson (probably as a go-between for the Bank and the Liberals). Now for the kicker, can you imagine how much money the Bank of Montreal collects in interest as they delay? Does anyone suspect kick-backs are happening? I think the taxpayers are being robbed blind by the Liberals and all Canadians should be as furious as Albertans.

    3. It is a mistake to think Trudeau was the reason for Notley’s defeat. Team Notley was a bunch of labour lawyers and students who were all anti-oil. They were shocked to find they had won an election in 2015 and didn’t really know what to do.

      Being socialists they raised taxes, killed industry, and hired lots of government employees.

      The media says times were tough so Team Notley’s economic failure shouldn’t be blamed on Notley. However, many Albertans have friends in the USA, or are now working in the US, and noticed that the US oil industry is booming.

      And during the campaign, Notley didn’t run on her record, after all how could she? It seemed the whole NDP campaign was GSAs.

      No Notley didn’t lose due to Trudeau, she lost because she and her government couldn’t run an economy.
