  1. Many DeMarxists didn’t just bite on Donald Trump’s go the sanctuary cities young man, the swallowed the hook.
    Their showing is slipping.

  2. Yup. The convictions of ALL champagne socialists – a mile wide, and a millimeter deep.

    Exposed for all to see.

    1. Many thanks ED. I’m trying to get my 10 and 11 year old kids interested in news and politics, but don’t let them come to SmallDeadAnimals because of the bad language of some of the commenters.

      1. ED is for “editor”, in this case me. And you’re correct, the language has been deteriorating lately and chronic offenders may find themselves denied access. So, clean it up, people.

        1. Yes, host-editor. I wasn’t sure which of the posters was doing the cleanup, but ultimately it comes down to your house, your rules. Thanks for letting us visit.

    2. Thank you, Kate. I get enough of that as I negotiate the sewers of life. I’d like to think that SDA would be a respite from that.

  3. Bill deBlassio the Democrat really loves illegal migrants but….not in my backyard!!! Is Bill showing his bias!

  4. Shades of Ralph Klein when the left was outraged because the province of BC paid their welfare recipients more than Alberta did.
Klein simply offered anyone on welfare in Alberta a free one way bus ticket to BC to take advantage of their ‘much more generous and caring welfare system’.

      1. Not a moment too soon, Kate. Bad language is a lazy writer’s tool. (There are occasional exceptions when shocking language is an effective tool but the more used the less effective.) If one takes a few extra minutes to find the words that accurately describe ones feelings, one’s posts will be better understood.
I wonder if there is any way to institute a cuss jar?
The comments are what I most come here for, I am sure they will be improved…at least for a while.
Thank you for this blog. It is my favourite.
It is time that I bought you dinner.

    1. I had moved to Alberta the previous year cause I couldn’t find work in Ont. my new boss would go to the bar with us after work to try to hire his competitors employees by offering higher pay and bonuses if you stayed with him 3 months. Ralph was right. There was no reason to be out of work in Alberta then.

  5. I agree with you Kate. Poor choice of language, is a sign of a weak mind and completely unnecessary if your argument is valid and strong. Punt the vulgar, and more would come to comment. I myself, have at times found it distasteful to bother posting. Try Zerohedge comment section and you have to take a shower afterwards and wash your ears out with soap and clean the eyes with bleach.

    1. Stan. I think welfare for the Provinces are an negotiated deal with the Feds. When the tramps were put on the bus I learned that BC had a better deal than what Alberta had at the time, so that’s why the bums were shipped out. I think Alberta got 50% from the Feds per head, while BC’s was higher, up to 75%. Ergo bus tickets to Vancouver. Don’t quote me, as it was quite a while ago and my memory is failing. Not every Province has the same deal.

    2. And I agree with you Indiana Jane. The comment section is an important part to blogs and the commentators here is what makes SDA the top rated blog it is. Too bad one or two vulgar idiots can spoil the party. Keep cracking down Kate, you have our support.
