An absolute disaster for BuzzFeed and much of the media.
A so-called ‘bombshell’ story by BuzzFeed, claiming that Donald Trump ordered Michael Cohen to lie to Congress, has been directly debunked by the office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
For about 24 hours, almost the entire media were breathlessly reporting on the story, claiming that impeachment of Trump was just around the corner and an indictment was certain.
Turns out, the story was fake.

I believe Mueller was just covering his own ass because in order for that story to be true, it would have had to leak from someone in the special council. With Barr about to be confirmed I believe he did not want to be hauled onto the carpet for a explanation. Mueller is a dirty cop and up to his own elbows in the Uranium 1 scandal. He signed off on it as reported by Dan Bongino.

I liked the picture of Cohen yesterday with a black eye and arm in a sling. Wonder what happened? Could anything Cohen says have any credibility, after all he is a proven liar and convicted criminal.

I predict the media will do the old switcheroo and just divert attention to a related bit of fakery. Or they may say, of course Mueller denied it, he’s still investigating, and doesn’t want to release info early.
During the week, one could watch the smirking Heather Hiscox — host of CBC Morning News, and easily the most politically biased news host on Canadian broadcasting — prattle on about how Trump ordered Cohen to lie to Congress. (The CBC also has some young thingy reporting to Hiscox during the show, from Washington, to add to the news travesty).
But on late Friday, Mueller decides to correct the sleazy Buzzfeed lies, knowing full well that few people watch the news over the weekend, and there are few news people around to report the news, and his correction. Here in Canada, nearly all CBC reporters rush off to enjoy their cushy weekends, paid for by their cushy tax-funded salaries, so there are few CBC reporters reporting on Mueller’s statement.
If the CBC propagandized bias was not enough, over at the Globe and Mail’s web page, this Saturday morning, the corrupt editors left the false Buzzfeed story prominently on the main page, and buried the Mueller correction half-way down the “world” page inside of the web page. Even the CBC web page is honest enough to give the corrected, and newer, story more prominence. The Globe and Mail, has become a public embarrassment. This is how appalling Canada’s news reporting has become.

As I write this on Saturday, 2 pm Eastern time, the Globe and Mail still has not put, on its main page, the story of Mueller’s denial of the false Buzzfeed attack. All they did was publish, at the top of the main page, a smamy column by hard-left writer Lawrence Martin, speculating that the Buzzfeed story still might be true despite the Mueller report. And the comments section is overflowing with heated criticism of the Globe’s corrupt journalism.
The Globe and Mail has publicly disgraced itself here. But I suppose many media have.
The ultimate goal of the MSM TDS and the DeMarxists, is to smear, distort, LIE, beat down, dehumanize and criticize, endlessly, and constantly, no matter how incorrect, wrong, outrageous and outright slanderous these allegations and untruths are. There will never be apologies or corrections to their evil statements or deeds.

A report from two anonymous sources is not news. There are two points of weakness here. First, the reporter might be lying. Second, if the two sources do exist, they might be lying or mistaken.
Journalists have to to get back to basics, and that means not reporting on stories that can not be verified. Good basic skepticism. Listen to all theories, but verify before you buy into one.
CBCNW had a guest/analyst on this morning from the U.S. who actually said that he wasn’t sure who was telling the truth, Buzzfeed or the Special Council. That comment didn’t even phase the CBC dude.

My theory on Mueller v.v Buzzfeed BS is he knows everybody knows his investigation stinks of legal/ethical violations, with his main attack dog privy to the oppo-research well before any FBI “investigation” purportedly began, so he is digging his way out.
The only reason Mueller would correct this false story is if it conflicted/ weakened another angle that they are exploiting/ exploring. There is nothing altruistic about the act.
