  1. What is interesting is, that apparently the man knows so much more what he speaks about than those that oppose him and know something approximating zero, which would be the case for yer correspondent.

  2. This man, in his Confederate uniform, holding his flag, is exactly what makes America the hope of the world.

His demise has been greatly exaggerated.

  3. That guy was really good.

What do you think are the chances that he will be interviewed on CNN etc?

Heck. I’m not even sure he’ll be interviewed on FoxNews.

  4. The one thing I don’t get about all these historical revisionists: Do they not understand that by burying the past, they make it more likely to happen again? Hiding history does nothing for anyone. Keep history alive, and you’re less likely to have it come ’round and bite you on the posterior at a later time. Some cycles are inevitable, but still…

  5. There were some black soldiers in the Confederate Army, mostly accompanying officers as fighting servants, or in engineering units. A plan was to conscript black men into the army but it never came to fruition. A very common opinion among blacks in the South after the Civil War was that Lincoln was the devil incarnate. Nice of Liberal whites to tell black people how they should think.

  6. This must have been taped early in the morning … like say, 10:00am … when all the SJW’s were still,in bed. Otherwise they would have already gathered around this man shouting “porch monkey” at him. It’s what they do. Instead, I suggest they pick up a book and at least try to “fact check” this man’s history lesson.

      1. Yep … as Rush Limbaugh repeats … “It’s 11:00am, time for welfare recipients to wake up”

  7. No such passion here in Canada for the destruction of statues. We are turning our ‘real property’ into ‘real dumps’ too.

  8. All of the above. That fellow deserves a medal. Good for him. He knows more about history than the ignorant Marxist scum.
Too bad someone could not legally take out the Marxist liberal beatch constantly trying to put her ignorant piece of paper in the camera.

  9. My limited knowledge of the civil war is that the Revels fought defensive battles (Southern States) of an invasion by Northern Forces
If Lee had pushed his advantage after defeating Northern Forces @ Bull Run he could have marched into Washington unopposed and declared total Victory, but the South thought the North would cease aggression & workout a compromise. WRONG

The defense action in the South held until the Russians sailed into NY Harbor signaling that they supported the trade embargo of the South,,.,That Trade Embargo was extremely effective resulting in a shortage of every manufactured product….

Other than a brief march into Maryland and back to Virginia,, The Rebel Battle @ Bunker Hill in PA was the first major Battle in Northern territory.. Lee lost and they retreated back to Rebel States fighting defensive battles….The Uncle of George Patten died @ the Bunker Hill Battle as a rebel under that Battle flag .. That flag represents more than the Civil war or Slavery… Patten understood that winning a war was ugly

The aggressor was the North….Full Stop….

    1. “My limited knowledge of the civil war……..”

You should have stopped right there Phillip or have I missed the part about in an alternative universe.

  10. Until now, the only Silent Sam I had any familiarity with was a brand of vodka. Who knew?

  11. The vandals who do thee damages should be made to pay for what they do and that means right from their pockets

  12. There were 7 people arrested for the toppling of the ‘Silent Sam’ statue (Soldiers Monument) on the University of North Carolina campus on the first day of classes. University security spent $390,000 guarding the statue in 2017.

It was dedicated by The N.C. chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Alumnus of the U.N.C. in 1913.
