Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Scheer, in the Globe & Mail
Scheer has also endorsed a number of Quebec-focused policies designed to appeal to erstwhile separatists and soft nationalists
“Scheer has said he’d give Quebec more power over culture and immigration”

Good, in keeping with Reform policy, restoring provincial powers a/p our Constitution.
That should please the pure laine conservatives.
Anyway Sharyl Attkinson’s list is the “Essential 50” or “Top 50” Mistakes (for the most part fabrications).
Since new flim flan artists are showing up daily, the list is clearly in flux, so subject to amendment.
How long before it’s the “Top 100 …?”
This weeks media storm on the children that Trump is ripping away from parents is right up there.
This is a fairly concise list by Attkisson. What she hasn’t touched are the errors of omission: not following (ignoring) Trumps accomplishments.
Hope her next list exposes the media elite’s poor coverage of Obama and Clinton.
is it not wonderful to have a Canadian patriot in opposition? S/
Great idea – let the Feds keep the military, interprovincial infrastruture, international affairs, banks, and the post office and give the rest to the provinces.
Sharyl Attkisson and Catherine Herridge are the sharpest, most substantive journalists in the USA, in my opinion. Very sensible.
In the list should be the time the media published photos that supposedly proved Trump was such a woman-hater that he refused to shake Angela Merkel’s hand and could not even look her in the eyes.
In 40 seconds I found photos of Trump WARMLY shaking Merkel’s hand THAT SAME DAY, and WARMLY smiling at her while STARING her in the eyes
once at the White house entrance
once while they were addressing a crowd
The media were lying and using a photo and a 10 second video that meant NOTHING.
Trump and Merkel that day must have shaken hands at least 25 times – each time a journalist/reporter asked them to do it – maybe Trump was fed up and that is why in that 10 second video he is not shaking her hand
A list of 50 times the media was wrong about Trump is way too short, I think the real number must be closer to 500.
because they do it everyday and have since he started his campaign.
My opinion of the media is so low, I have more respect for the mold that grows between the tiles around my bath tub.
My old employer used to make an awful lot of ‘mistakes ‘ on my paycheque, always in his favour somehow…
Coulda made a much shorter and more interesting list; What the media got right about Trump.
These 50 media fabrications of the news reminds me of an old riddle expression. How can you tell when a liberal is lying? Answer is, they are talking.
These are not ‘mistakes’, mistakes are accidental, these are deliberate lies.
