  1. I don’t see why Alberta voters wouldn’t vote in another Dipper candidate, after all, someone posted here the other day that there are tens of thousands of jobs going unfilled in Alberta,so Notley must be doing something right.
Conservatives have lost four out of five beyelections federally since October, surely it’s time for a conservative victory.

  2. I agree, the best way to get the cliff over with, is to fall over the edge as fast as you can. Notely is doing that, so keep her foot on the gas. Until they actually get a Holodomor or a Great Leap Forward, why would anyone in Alberta change their mind about voting for a socialist workers paradise? Without an actual body count, a count too large to prevaricate away, nothing is going to change.
Old people, people who were already sick? They were not long for this world anyway; them freezing and starving to death is not enough.
It has to be large enough numbers of young enough healthy enough, that no one can say it is anything but what it actually is. Well, not no one; we all know that one guy who says “true communism hasn’t been tried yet”. So everyone but him.

  3. Because of Brian Jean’s red tory arrogance we ended up with the same old PC Party.
As Kenney willingly campaigns for his votes in mosques and saved the old PC cronies club I have no reason to support and trust him.

  4. “As Kenney willingly campaigns for his votes in mosques and saved the old PC cronies club I have no reason to support and trust him.”
Sure. And your options are???? Notley by default I guess.
Oh well. Voters get what they deserve.

  5. “Brian Jean’s red tory arrogance”
What are you even talking about? Oh and quit the moaning and whining about campaigning in Mosques. Boo hoo minorities exist build a bridge and get over it.

  6. “Your options are???”
Oh, that’s easy. Burn it down or elect the Pander Bear? Time to start flicking bluetips at the kerosene jugs.

  7. I always get a hoot out of the conservative purists who unless the candidate or leader agrees with THEM on every point of policy and decorum said candidate or leader is not worthy of support even if the candidate or leader is the most conservative one on the ballot. If the most conservative then ……. you would rather have the most socialist on the ballot because the conservative one isn’t conservative enough for you? Does that even make sense?????

  8. …. and there’s Gord sticking up for Pander Bear yet again. You’re like the political version of a Maple Leaf fan.

  9. Because, like an addict (and this province is addicted to gov’t spending at the moment), you have to hit rock bottom in order to start back on the road to recovery. The fact that Jason Kenney is even on a ballot should tell you that Alberta hasn’t gotten enough medicine yet. The globalist who never met an immigrant he wouldn’t coat in Magic Dirt will continue to sell Canada’s values away for votes just like he did for PMSH.

  10. Rachel Notley is a really nasty piece of work. I believe Brian Jean is an honorable man but at this point UCP needs someone who will get in the gutter with Notley and Kenney fits the bill. Alberta (and Canada for that matter) cannot afford to give the NDP another term in government. With Brad Wall gone, Kenney is the only one that will stand up for Western Canada.

  11. No Joe I’m tired of a lifetime of big ‘Conservative’ machines telling everyone to fall in line and blindly support while the party brass, the in players and the leaders water everything down while they sell out and compromise principals.
My federal Conservative party membership entitles you to be treated like a walking wallet. My Wildrose membership had me treated with scorn by those who surrounded sleepy Jean because I though the party should be conservative like it was founded to be.
Now I’m told to shutup because I don’t like Bilderberg Islam Kenney and the revived crony PC gang.
You know who voted the NDP in? Progressive Conservatives did. People like that dirtbag Jonathan Denis who stood on people’s doorsteps and told them to vote NDP. You know who was part of Jason Kenney’s team? People like Jonathan Denis.

  12. If the most conservative then ……. you would rather have the most socialist on the ballot because the conservative one isn’t conservative enough for you?
In other words, support the least socialist? Still supporting socialism, just at a slower pace, as history has proven.
Exo 23:1  Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
Exo 23:2  Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline (“turn away [and follow]”) after many to wrest judgment:

  13. Indeed. Just ask Bush who brought in “No Child Left Behind” and Medicare D. He got voted in because he wasn’t Gore or Kerry.
Just ask Harper who did nothing other than repeal Sec. 13. No private property rights, no Castle Doctrine, no reduction in the GST. His only “conservative” plank was the rescinding of citizenship but now it’s gone.
Just ask Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, John McStain how well it went for them when tried to be “Democrat Light”. Same taste, less conservative.
I’m right there with you: I want someone on the right. Not centrist-right, not slightly right, full blown right.

  14. The UPC, like all quasi-conservative coalitions, are big-tent organizations light on principles and compelled to appealing to those voting “against” the NDP or Liberals. It’s rare that you find a “great” leader of such a monstrosity but it’s as good as it gets in Canada and even in Alberta where I doubt you could even fill one Jubilee Auditorium (hint-pick Calgary’s) with actual principled conservatives. Fiscal restraint is a pretty good policy for a Province that has spent itself into near bankruptcy even before the NDP slithered into office.

  15. NDP being flattened.
    Looks good on Notley.
Looking forward to watching Kenney hammer the dips in the leg.

  16. Kenny the cuck? I’ll jump off the cliff then. Instead of a slow burn I’m ready for a powder keg explosion let’s run this right off the cliff full steam ahead just burn it all down. In fact I’ll vote NDP just to help it burn quicker.

  17. Hey Seen, when you govern from an extreme possession you govern only those who support that extreme possession, so I hate to tell you, butt any government should represent and govern ALL the people, and therefore govern closer to the center. And that comes from a large C conservative.

  18. That is exactly what Harper did. By contrast, Justin focuses heavily on special interest groups. He uses rhetoric to try to convince us that he is serving the interests of all Canadians. He is not. Most Canadians are getting screwed.

  19. Looking forward to watching Kenney hammer the dips in the leg.
I expect that Notley will be traveling a lot next year rather than showing up in the legislature. She’ll be cursing Prentice for selling those damn jets.

  20. Come to my place Paul, I have a 600 foot one ready for you. If you want to shoot your own foot and see another 4 years of this haggard hachet faced commie you do that, but the rest of Albertans don’t really care for Venezuela north without the bananas. And if watching what is happening down south with energy being back in vogue under a businessman doesn’t make you put your petulance aside well, then shoot the other foot so you feel the same all over dildo. Jason wasn’t my first choice but you ride the bus that will get all the way.

  21. And? You think I really give a damn what fake Canadians think about how this nation is/should be governed? They have to go back.

  22. Harper reduced the GST from 7% to 5% in his first year.
Could be mistaken on the year.
    No mistake on reduction

  23. “Now I’m told to shutup because I don’t like Bilderberg Islam Kenney and the revived crony PC gang.”
Exactly true. Wildrose was created to supplant the PCs, not unite with them. Now the PCs and their supporters will be back in power and they were the ones who put the NDP into power.
It’s Machiavellian. Evil top to bottom. The PCs merely rebranded.

  24. Forty or so Billions of dollars later, we can all agree that Prentice was correct.
    MATH IS HARD!
That’s what has to be rubbed into everyone’s face.
