  1. Elementary School 1950s – Walk Yourself To School, Independence & Behavior – 3 Rs

Elementary school 2017- Not walking yourself to school, no Independence & bad Behaviour tolerated – maybe 1.5 Rs but not 3Rs.

  2. We are not safe with this Trudeau government. Talking about de-radicalizing ISIS murderers and rapists as they stream back to this country is insanity.
They have no clue how it will be done or how they can keep us safe from these evil madmen.Someone needs to explain to the emoting drama teacher the meaning of high treason.

  3. Liz, there is no shortage of insanity in this country. The PM is apologizing to anyone and everyone on our behalf. He plans on apologizing to perverts for not accepting their perversion fast enough. Jeez, this country is screwed. NO ONE APOLOGIZES ON MY BEHALF FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT DO, GET OVER IT.

  4. Trudeau has taken the playbook Obama used and is running with it. If Trudeau gets a second mandate(heaven forbid!). We re toast. The stuff that Trudeau is implementing now will hurt whoever takes over after, and like Trump is experiencing, the deep state will rule. It would take a leader with vision and a serious set of gonads to try to right the ship. Start with the civil service, 10% gone now. Talk to Google or anyone who can help and begin the automation of Government. Get rid of the power base that the civil service has. The latest support for the NDP bill to adopt the UN indigenous rights scares me. The outcome if adopted, will mean that Indians will be insufferable asses and have all rights to do basically whatever the hell they want.

  5. We need the equivalent of the Nuremberg trials for these ISIS soldiers and collaborators. Instead we get something with the Orwellian name Canada Centre for Community Engagement and Prevention of Violence. I don’t remember any Nazis being caught and sent back for reintegration. We are still sending them back for trials 70 years later.

  6. AGW Kills.
    The Killer? MSM’s “cold snap”.

  7. Trudeau will keep getting reelected until his dreamy hair goes grey and falls out, and he gets fat.

  8. We thought something similar with his father. Despite the fact that people were disenchanted with PET, he kept being re-elected. It didn’t matter what he did or how bad his policies were, he always offered to southern Ontario and Quebec something that those regions liked and he was returned to office.
I fear that the same will happen with the Spawn. We won’t be rid of him until, like minuteman suggested, his looks fade and he’s no longer dazzling.
Remember what Abraham Lincoln said about fooling the people.

  9. The sock monkey got elected because there is a demographic that likes him because they perceive him as being nice.
They will continue to like him until the perception of him as nice is deconstructed.
Some folks will vote for the likable scoundrel instead of the competent honest stern candidate just because they feel the scoundrel isn’t going to hurt them. Why? Because they only see the scoundrel hurting those they disagree with.
Case in point, is the current issue over tax policy that puts Juthtin in with those unlikable people Juthtin villified during the election.
I don’t think however that has created the paradigm shift that will put the liberals in third place. However, the recent attack in Egypt of Muslim attacking Muslim juxtapose to his policy of reaching out to help jihadists reintegrate will deconstruct some of the “nice” persona that is the liberal re-election strategy.
And it’s the only one they have.
Deconstruct that and the liberals implode.

  10. Good one. And just in case anyone happens to encounter Justin Trudeau and his face is on fire, remember, he doesn’t have a moustache.

  11. Little confused here. In Parliament do you submit your questions to the opposition before you ask them? Trudeau has an entire page responding to Scheer”s question, which of course he never answered.

  12. “…Talk to Google or anyone who can help and begin the automation of Government. …”
Never mind the “Deep State” Google is already busy surreptitiously infusing the culture with all the wrong ideas (and politics is downstream of the culture.) Giving them the keys to government systems would be akin to treason.
I think your heart is in the right place but things are worse than you realise.

  13. Re the ISIS fighters slinking back into Canada with nothing to fear as to punishment. What would anyone do to have this government unceremoniously, detain and charge them with serious war crimes? Can’t think of anything. The precedent set by Khadr and several others is that one of more of these traitors will sue Canada for some imagined slight. I’m sure legal minds are already working on it.

  14. unfortunately our system is broken and the percentages that vote liberal will assure your prediction.

  15. AGW RIP.
“A final note: if PBI spokesperson Amstrup had been right about his predictions of Arctic sea ice and polar bear survival back in 2007 when he was the head of the US Geological Survey’s polar bear research team, there would be no polar bears at all in Hudson Bay right now (Crockford 2017), not a thriving population of fat, healthy bears.”
    …-
“W Hudson Bay freeze-up one of earliest since 1979, not “closer to average””
“Western Hudson Bay polar bears have been leaving shore for the rapidly thickening sea ice since at least 8 November (bear above was heading out 10 Nov.). However, Polar Bears International chose not to mention the unusually early freeze-up until the week-long (5-11 November) doomsday bombardment they call “Polar Bear Week” was almost over.
It’s worse than that: two days earlier, PBI’s activist spokesperson Steven Amstrup apparently told the Sierra Club (“People Show Up for Polar Bear Week, But the Ice Hasn’t Yet”; 8 November 2017) that “the bears are still waiting on shore for that ice to freeze” even though ice development had been well on its way for days at that point. As if freeze-up on 10 November came as a big surprise to him, with no warning whatsoever.
Apparently, they didn’t want their naive and gullible supporters to know at the beginning of Polar Bear Week that the sea ice loss of which PBI spokespeople rant about constantly (Save Our Sea Ice) was a total non-issue this year: breakup was not earlier than usual and new ice began developing off Churchill at about the same time it did in the 1980s (last week of October).”

  18. Re life in 1920s, my father was born in 1916 and learned to drive the family’s Ford roadster when he was 11 … he was small, and had to have wood blocks fastened to the pedals so he could reach them to shift (no gear lever at the time, apparently), brake and accelerate. When he was 12 he drove my grandmother from Chicago to Detroit and back since the family trusted his driving more than hers, and since his father never learned to drive at all, Dad drove him to work (he was a high school principal) every day and then drove to his middle school for classes, returning to pick up Grandad afterwards and head for home. The family summered north of Lake Michigan and Dad and his brothers (at the time teenagers and preteens) would take a large wood-and-canvas canoe out on the lake for several days at a time — o f course they had no way to stay in touch, so effectively the three of them would just vanish and return at will, and their parents thought nothing of it.

  20. Actually, I thought it would have been our current flag with everything red on it removed. It would be suitable for welcoming all those “refugees”.

  22. If Ralph Goodale is all we have keeping us safe from terrorists we are in big trouble. Like his leader,he hasn’t got a clue. First he was going to de-radicalize and now he is admitting it will be difficult!
God help us one and all!

  23. Ah, but at least he’s telling the truth and isn’t it more important that our politicians are honest? (“Competence? What’s that?”)
