The MSM is similarly confused at the difference between climate and weather, debt and deficit, etc.
Delete your account, April.
I can imagine Dumbocrat senator Maxine Waters screeching with joy that Trump must now be impeached because he’s–wait for it!–a LIAR!!!! (Gasp! Shock!)
Some people have waaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands…..
Math really is hard.
I don’t think I’m going to survive the Trump presidency.
Is there a term for ‘Death by Facepalm’?
these idiots have no idea what constitutes being a billionaire.
$38 mill in taxes. Wow. There’s a part of me that’s actually glad I’m just a poor non-billionaire schlub from South Jersey. Paying that type of money in taxes would drive me insane.
At least she has the decency to capitalize the “B” as if it was an official title; like I’m a Thousandaire…
Here I thought it was sarcasm. I needed re-training.
Who doesn’t like lower taxes?
The scary thing in the bigger picture are that these people tell us how to live! She doesn’t have the understanding of assets/earnings or net worth? She just outed herself as Strawberry Shortbus but she’ll tell us how the government should spend money? Start stocking up on ammo!
“He made in 2005 over 100 million dollars.” Uh, April, that’s not the word order that I would have used.

urnolist school discharged fecal matter,
one starts wonder whether today news is “spun”, or the product of stupid that can’t be fixed
Ya gotta hand it to The Donald …he leaks his own tax return from 12 years ago, the left and MSM (I repeat myself) are all shocked to see that he paid $38 million in PERSONAL income tax (don’t forget, his corporations also had to pay corporate tax), and the income tax questions that Dems have been howling about now goes away as “old news.” Trump is playing (and winning) a game of 3-dimensional chess against morons who struggle with checkers.
This was almost as funny as election night. First all the lefties (Michael Moore, Rosie, democrat operators, journalists) praising Maddow in giddy anticipation, immediately followed by incredulous bitter disappointment and recrimination. This was then followed in lock step by all with a pivot to RUSSIA, and WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE WITHOUT INSURANCE. You’d almost think hollywood, journalists and democrats were coordinating with each other.
Captcha Ausfahrt – The sound Obama thinks Austrians make when they fart, which is totally different than German’s.
The woman is even stupider whenever Press Secretary Spicer calls on her.
Yeah the WH press corps really are an illumination of why The Donald is Prez.
Don’t be too hard on her. After all, the meaning of words and grammar are all based on white patriarchy, so any unusual wording you perceive is merely her part in the revolution.
Or something.
Urban Radio eh?That says it all.
Definition of a billion? 999,000,000 = nine hundred ninety-nine million yes? So 1,000,000,000 = 1 billion or 1000,M(illion), ten times one hundred million. Correct?
Compared to this (usual) drivel I see published on Twitter … the POTUS Twitter releases are downright intellectual.
Ebonics has done her no favors.
Oh gee, what tax did Joe Trudeau pay?
“ten times one hundred million. Correct?”
Not sure where you’re going with this. Be careful if you intend to mix apples and oranges.
I assumed JustAnotherWesterner was from the UK:
noun, plural billions (as after a numeral) billion.
1.
a cardinal number represented in the U.S. by 1 followed by 9 zeros, and in Great Britain by 1 followed by 12 zeros.
An early definition – okay, I’m stepping back 50 years – of millionaire was one who made $50,000 per year as that was the annual return on $1,000,000 at 5%. Using that definition/formula and Trump’s income of more than 100 million, it would make him a trillionaire. Hoping the left-wing lunatics will be happy now.
Yeah, that always freaked me out. How the hell can two hugely different numbers be named the same? What do they call 1 followed by 9 zeroes in the UK?
I thought math (basic numbers anyway) had to be consistent? Who knew?
You represent “m” as being the symbol for 1 million. It is not. “m” is the symbol for 1,000, as “c” is the symbol for 100. “Mille” (1,000) and “cent” or “centum”(100) have been around for centuries. Someone – I suspect the media – decided along the way that “m” stood for 1 million.
“Is there a term for ‘Death by Facepalm’?”
Yes…. suicide.
1 million is 1 thousand X 1 thousand.
thou·sand
[ˈTHouz(ə)nd]
NUMBER
(a/one thousand)
the number equivalent to the product of a hundred and ten; 1,000:
1 billion is 1 thousand x(product) 1 million.
1 trillion is 1 thousand x(product) 1 billion.
10 year old joke when GWB was POTUS:
Informer> “A Brazilian unit of soldiers were wiped out in Afghanistan.
GWB> Oh gawd NO! How many is a Brazilian again?!
Yes thank-you That is what I thought So a billion = One Thousand Million We all seem in agreement on that. And yes Americanization has corrupted symbols. Any Millenial computer nerd will tell you “K” = 1000. K for Kilo(bytes) M, million, megabytes, Giga now Terra etc. Originated with Metric I guess.
