…didn’t Canada just solve all of Trump’s problems? If humane treatment of immigrants is the goal, Canada is the right place. They have polite behavior, free healthcare, and lots of space. That’s a win-win-win.

Canada also gives us a test case to compare to America’s plan. In five years we can check back and see how it turned out for them. If it worked, we can reassess. Until then we obviously need to wall-off Canada. But that’s another topic.

  12. I hope Trump doesn’t get to talking about Canada and NATO funding. I’m not sure if we cover our fair share even with the current formula which is GDP based. Given our location, natural resources and vast area, the current arrangement is a bargain and in no way reflects the risk of aggression that we face in the future.

  16. Actually I read this morning, forget where, our expenditure on NATO is less than 1% of GDP and the agreement calls for 2%. There for Trump has a case.

  23. I don’t have a problem with the refugees who want to integrate/assimilate and become Canadians. Those who don’t want to be Canadians first will eventually migrate to the muslime enclaves in the big southern cities when the free-fed-funding runs out, and won’t be my problem. The refugee families who have come to our small town north of 60 have integrated well, are learning English, and getting an education to be gainfully employed. They’re more of an asset than the first immigrants, who continue to be a congenital problem.

Seems the assailants were shouting something along the lines of “Allah snackbar” and the Liberals are denouncing the barbaric attack in the most strongly worded communiques.   39. You see, America has actually done a very good job at vetting and keeping out potential immigrant terrorists since 2001. The biggest risk is with America born terrorists. National Security officials have worked with, and need to continue to enhance there relationships with the Muslim community so that at risk (of becoming radicalized) young Muslims can be identified and countermeasures taken. This action drives a wedge between the two which is very dangerous and could have the opposite affect of promoting terrorism. So stupid! So sad!

The only explosion Europe has gotten from wholesale importing this lot has been from gunfire, bombs, and burning cars, but I am sure it will play out differently in Canada.
