Islamic states will never make peace with Israel except for the peace of the grave. The 2 state solution is a never-never land. Their only objective is to make it all Islamic again. Best to know your enemy and act accordingly instead of hope for their change. You want peace then make them secular states or make them non-entities. Perhaps a third way is to just keep the conflict going until middle east style Islam has an Enlightenment.
Palestinians are not indigenous. The vast majority of them originated in Jordan. The surrounding states urged them to migrate (temporarily) just before one of the wars, thinking that the Israelis would be defeated and they could return home. When that didn’t go as planned they just squatted there thinking that Egypt would help them out. Egypt said no thanks and none of the other Muslim states would take them either, including Jordan.

Irrelevant, because being a distinct people, race or nation is not a prerequisite for statehood.
Inaccurate, because Palestinians indeed have a shared identity as the Palestinian people, and it is under this banner that they collectively seek formal statehood (incidentally, just as the Israelis did not too long ago).
Absurd, because you are simply drawing an arbitrary, artificial, and self-serving line between when “Palestinians” were “refugees, mostly from Jordan, some from Egypt” and when they became a distinct group. Question: do you similarly see “Canadians” or “Americans” as still just a bunch of mostly British colonial settlers, or do you concede that they’ve since evolved their own collective identity? Are, say, Australians not a “people/nation” as well, or do you still see them merely as the descendants of English and Scottish criminals?
