Why should the NYT use any words other than Capitalism and Obama ? Because the NYT’s KNOWS that a capitalistic conspiracy to collapse worldwide oil prices engineered by Obama for the sole purpose of starving the Venezuelan people … is the cause of their problems. Of course the NYT’s knows that Socialism is the only way to solve their problems.
Of course they won’t use the “s” word. Every mainstream article invariably blames low oil prices for the crisis. I bet this one does as well.
CBC’s irrepressible Joan Leishman — who blames everything on oil prices — takes a back seat to no one in her inability to pronounce the “s” word. She went through contortions today talking about Castro.

I DO like the term … “Red diaper doper babies” … coined by Michael Savage. It has a nice alliterative cadence. Even if it isn’t a perfectly accurate description of their preferred economic system, it describes their thinking perfectly.
Perhaps Mr. Trump should start designating people coming from Venezuela as refugees coming from a failing state. The media and the left would try to tear him apart for claiming Venezuela is falling apart, but in the process they would have to actually report on how bad the situation is there. Furthermore, I’m certain most Venezuelans fleeing from their country would have seen exactly what the end result of socialism is, and vote against it in their new country.
You are obviously unaware that the mobile progressives destroy an city or state, and then move to a new better state and vote for the same idiotic stuff that turned their old place into a shithole.
