1. Not to be confused with electrical generation as nuclear is a significantly higher percentage of the total.

3. What’s more telling is that in the UK where the so-called renewables Are more visible, the only thing currently preventing brownouts is the above yellow (nuclear) base load of France.

4. Entirely true. Britain imports about 15 TWh annually from France (that’s the limit based on transmission capacity). That’s equivalent to the entire annual output of two large reactors.

5. Any good lefty can tell you that “renewables” have nowhere to go but up. That’s why we’re wiping out our coal industry here in the States.

9. I guess The China Syndrome didn’t get translated into French ? Because the scare-mongering Hollywooden fantasy film (starring Jane Fonda) ruined the Nuclear power industry in America. BTW … there is no scientific and technological reason that nuclear waste cannot be safely disposed and maintained … just so long as it’s NIMBY. Personally, I would like to fill all of Jane Fonda’s mansions with it.
