  1. Somehow the chief managed to keep his job.

  4. Nasty evil intollerent liberal spew venom toward Judge Scalia just like they did with Clarence Thomas most like becuase they both probibly opposed Aferemative Action which proves liberals are the most intollrent beasts on the earth

  5. I enjoy your comments SP but here’s a tip. Add a dictionary to your favorites. One click and ‘aferemative’ would become a thing of the past

  6. “Tax oil to subsidize wind?”
“If you want more of something, mandate it, subsidize it and exempt it from regulations. If you want less of something, punish it with taxes and regulations. Put more bluntly, the power to tax and regulate is the power to destroy. This is the First Rule of Government.”

    “Ontario Wind Turbines
Ontario has the most expensive electricity in North America
The result of subsidized, over-priced wind power that Ontario doesn’t need.
On November 1, 2015, rates increased by 8.7%.
On January 1, 2016, rates increased by another 10%.
Since 2010, Ontario’s electricity prices have increased by 88%.”
“According to the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers:
Carbon Dioxide Emissions will increase by 48% in 2030,
because gas plants constantly starting up and shutting down expel more emissions than if they ran continually.
Much of our wind power will go to Quebec and the States.
Wind blows mostly at night and in the winter when we need power the least.
There is no wind on a hot summer day, when our air conditioners need it the most.
Constant changes to the grid are prone to error and Ontario’s grid wasn’t built to handle such.
Be prepared for frequent and long blackouts or worse, as in complete failure of our energy grid.”

  7. There were some odd things about the death. Who sleeps with a pillow over their head? Why no autopsy? He was declared dead by phone?? How does that work? So maybe it is nothing, but there are some legitimate questions, and the whole thing seems a tad too convenient for Obama and co.

  8. if, IF enshrined property rights are so important to grass roots conservatism, howcum Harper did utterly NOTHING about it whilst in office for TWO majorities?
Harper was a control freak protecting his power, not the interests of Canadians.

  9. Oh bs 60something. Most of what Harper did was about protecting the interests of Canadians. But you cannot do that if you lose power, so all political parties seek protect power once they have it. Sadly, Liberals have little interest in protecting the interests of Canadian and are in the process of relinquishing our sovereignty to global interests. Global interests undermine property rights. Property rights are not part of their plan.

  10. ?
are you saying Harper did nothing about property rights so as to not ‘step on anybody’s toes’ and thus avoid offending certain players? couldn’t agree more !! my point stands, Harper had TWO majority terms to push for it. I don’t recollect anything along those lines showing up on the conservatist agenda.
I wouldn’t be the slightest surprised next time around, they put in some sort of eminent domain thing in the ‘interests’ of their deep pocketed friends.

  12. “are you saying Harper did nothing about property rights so as to not ‘step on anybody’s toes’ and thus avoid offending certain players?” No — I did not say that and am not sure how you got that from my comment. I did not comment on the failure of the Harper government to get something done on property rights. I think they would have gotten to it, but he only had one majority . . . you cannot do everything at once. It is unfortunate that Harper did not get a legitimate second term, but the globalists were on a witch hunt to get rid of him. The main thing I said was that Harper acted in the interests of Canadians as much as possible and that fighting for your party to stay on top is simply a part of the political process.

  13. ” Scalia had a heart attack and died in his sleep.” Without an autopsy or even a visit by the coroner, just who determined the cause of death? One would think that someone that high in government would have more of an official handling. Hell, they did an autopsy on JFK and my grandmother could tell from the missing part of his skull that he didn’t die from complications from severe dandruff.
I am not a conspiracy nut but you have to admit the circumstances are worthy of a Hollywood movie.
