  1. Harper doesn’t believe in the Supreme Court? Apparently not. He appointed 7 of the 9 and failed to find one Conservative. Maybe the last guy?

  2. some one who actually WORKS for living probably doesn’t qualify as a supreme court justice under current protocols, so Harper ,was stuck with a lefty loaded lot to pick from
One has to guess that MATH ain’t yer strong suit

  3. This is so ridiculous it makes me sick…do these people really make decisions that affect the lives of Canadians. They should be put in a zoo.

  4. I don’t really come away from that link with any clear idea what is being suggested about C-51, is it presumed to be daft to ask for its repeal, or daft to suppose it is good legislation? Especially now that Papa Steve is not going to be naming the groups to be destabilized. Could be, umm, conservative blogs possibly? Not that this would be entirely new, just a shift into the mainstream. If anyone there hasn’t got it yet, good luck in the new security environment. Think Obama, NSA, anything right of centre “extremist.” And now it’s all coming home to roost. Thank Blaney and Nicholson for handing over this device to your worst enemies.

  5. Actually only 1 judge was appointed by Liberals and 8 by Conservatives, Beverley McLachlan being appointed by Mulroney. Absolutely frightening.

  6. What’s common between NDAA and anti-terrorism legislation passed by the Chretien Liberals in 2001?
    Both were Christmas time ‘gifts’.
    What’s gonna happen this Christmas?
Don’t be afraid, be very afraid. The Military-Industrial-Spying complex’s greed for more control over citizens is insatiable.

  7. ‘The Military-Industrial-Spying complex’s greed for more control over citizens is insatiable’
You mean like everybody from 1 to 99 years of age being treated like a terrorist when they want to board an airplane. 9/11 wouldn’t have anything to do with that now would it?

  8. No 9/11 style tragedy happened in Canada, yet Bill C-51 was passed.
9/11 was the excuse, not the reason for PATRIOT and NDAA.

  9. ‘9/11 was the excuse, not the reason’
In this case a distinction without a difference. Canadians were killed in the 9/11 terror attacks. Canada is a part of a worldwide web of air traffic routes. What other workable options post 9/11 did Canada have?

let’s see how people feel about security when that first nail bomb rips through all that toronto tenderloin on the yonge & bloor subway platform during rush hour.

  11. If it’s okay for the government to take away your driver’s licenze if you’re a bad driver what’s wrong with them taking away your citizenship if your a bad citizen.
Furthermore have you forgotten about the Air India terrorism that was hatched in Canada

  12. The Supreme Court Jesters and their main toll, the Trudeau Charter will eventually screw this country beyond recognition. The next four years with the Liberal Cabal and Trudeau the Younger…who looked like Little Lord Fauntleroy at the speech from the throne,we can brace for change like no other, one hell of a mess.

  13. Their attire does make them look like a bunch of Dept. Store Santa Clauses. See UK Supreme Court on how to dress your nation’s top judges. Would the decisions our Canadian Supremes hand down improve, if they were dressed less clown-like?

  14. “Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin” Per Hillary’s Email; the cigar clutching Mclachlin has a hard-on for Bill…That makes her Hillary’s piss-ant. What ever the Democrats want.

  15. The problem with the priests and priestesses of the Trudeau Supreme Court (aka. Gate keeping Gods of Trudopistan) is not so much which “judge” was appointed by whichever PM, but rather the God like powers bestowed on the Law Society sorcerers by that rat faced midget commie POS Peeair the Trudo of Quebecerstan. I guess I won’t get my Christmas wish of Canada returning to a real Parliamentary democracy either… Chief Beverly MacLachlin (aka. God) would never hear of it. I never liked Kool-Aid anyhow, especially Kool-Aid that Peeair pissed in. Merry Christmas everyone.

  16. I missed my chance to give turdeau version 1.0 the finger the day the motorcade came zooming north on the highway betwixt thorold ontario and welland a.k.a. merritville highway. back in the 80s.
anyways, by the time I realized it was the turd, it was too late to pull over and moon the p.o.s.
I have a few regrets in my life, thats one of them. I recollect ‘trudeaumania’, suspected the whole sales pitch all along and nothing in the intervening years has changed that one iota.

  17. Had this not been satire, I would have suggested that the laws that most need repeal are those that created the odious “human rights commissions”.

  18. scar, this just re-enforces what I have been saying for decades. there are no real conservatives in Canada.
