Progressive narratives are not to be contradicted. Unfettered abortions, CAGW, Jihad denial, PC speech codes, rabid feminism, Watermelon theocracy, expanding statism, identity politics, coercive promotion of LBGTHTQXYZ etc. It’s why no real debates seem to happen anymore. Any threat to their sanctity evokes accusations of racism, homophobia, Islamophobia, CH-denier etc all aimed at shutting down debate.
