  1. Nice. I’m in Montana for a week and hope to purchase a Confederate flag while down here.

  2. I bought one on ebay about 2 weeks ago
    I didn’t anticipate a ban. Just thought I needed one to go along with the Dominion flag

  3. If this keeps up, it will be more fun than draw a cartoon of Mo. contest.
    Now will the big 3 auto-makers produce pickup trucks with a rainbow motif and a Confederate flag?
    This just to really confuse those attending tailgate parties?

  4. Time to watch Ken Burns’s series of the American Civil War again so I can fully understand why the Confederate flag was so important.
    What has been overlooked, perhaps on purpose, is that the issue of slavery didn’t begin until the half way point of the four year war.
    It is why, to this day, the South does not refer to it as a civil war but only as “the War Between the States “.

  5. It would be a good guess that it is on purpose as it does not suit the left’s agenda. The left will not be satisfied until all of history has been revised to suit them and their agenda.

  6. As soon as the leftists scumrats get rid of the Conferate flag they’ll be aiming at Old Glory Already blabbering scumball Calypso Louie is calling is a racsists simbol Frankly He needs to leave america and take his wretched Nation of Islam with him

  7. It was reported that TV Land no longer airs the Dukes if Hazard due it’s promotion of racism.
    By the time the left is finished civilisation will be rendered to faceless, emotionless drones.

  8. I hope Trump uses the rebel flag to connect with real Americans.
    CNN ran one of their sleaze poles and found 57% see the flag as Southern Heritage. It will be a clear division… of more >75% in 2016
    Trump would/could sail into the WH….The establishment (back room boys) are freaking out….some Republicans

  9. As a matter of history when Gen Lee surrendured at Appotomax and President Lincoln learned of it he had the band play “DIXIE” and one of the original verses suggested that “Willum was a GAY deceiver”
    April 10, 1865: President Lincoln Asks the Band to Play “Dixie”
    ‘General Robert E. Lee surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant on April 9, 1865. The next day, despite rain and mud there were some 3,000 people in the streets celebrating. Crowds serenaded President Lincoln throughout the day. “At length,” wrote a reporter for the Washington paper Daily National Intelligencer, “after persistent effort, the presence of Mr. Lincoln was secured. Three loud and hearty cheers were given, after which the President said:
    ‘FELLOW CITIZENS: I am very greatly rejoiced to find that an occasion has occurred so pleasurable that the people cannot restrain themselves. [Cheers.] I suppose that arrangements are being made for some sort of a formal demonstration, this, or perhaps, to-morrow night. [Cries of `We can’t wait,’ `We want it now,’ &c.] If there should be such a demonstration, I, of course, will be called upon to respond, and I shall have nothing to say if you dribble it all out of me before. [Laughter and applause.] I see you have a band of music with you. [Vocies, `We have two or three.’] I propose closing up this interview by the band performing a particular tune which I will name. Before this is done, however, I wish to mention one or two little circumstances connected with it. I have always thought `Dixie’ one of the best tunes I have ever heard. Our adversaries over the way attempted to appropriate it, but I insisted yesterday that we fairly captured it. [Applause.] I presented the question to the Attorney General, and he gave it as his legal opinion that it is our lawful prize. [Laughter and applause.] I now request the band to favor me with its performance.’”
    “In accordance with the request, the band struck up `Dixie,’ and at its conclusion played `Yankee Doodle,’ the President remaining at the window mean-while. The President then said: `Now give three good hearty cheers for General Grant and all under his command.’ These were given with a will, after which Mr. Lincoln requested `three more cheers for our gallant Navy,’ which request was also readily granted. The President then disappeared from the window, amid the cheers of those below. The crowd then moved back to the War Department, and loud calls were again made for Secretary Stanton.”
    Less than a week later, Lincoln was dead.’
    Enjoy a little rendition of DIXIE:

    “(I Wish I Was In) Dixie’s Land” (1859)
    Lyrics by: Daniel Decatur Emmett
    I wish I was in the land of cotton,
    Old times dar am not forgotten,
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    In Dixie Land whar’ I was born in,
    Early on one frosty mornin’,
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    CHORUS:
    Den I wish I was in Dixie, Hoo-ray! Hoo-ray!
    In Dixie land, I’ll take my stand to live and die in Dixie;
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie,
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
    Old Missus marry Will-de-weaber,
    Willium was a gay deceaber; Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    But when he put his arm around ‘er
    Smiled as fierce as a forty-pounder,
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    CHORUS:
    Den I wish I was in Dixie, Hoo-ray! Hoo-ray!
    In Dixie land, I’ll take my stand to live and die in Dixie;
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie,
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
    His face was sharp as a butcher’s cleaver,
    But dat did not seem to greab ‘er;
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    Old Missus acted the foolish part,
    And died for a man dat broke her heart,
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    CHORUS:
    Den I wish I was in Dixie, Hoo-ray! Hoo-ray!
    In Dixie land, I’ll take my stand to live and die in Dixie;
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie,
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
    Now here’s a health to the next old Missus,
    And all the gals dat want to kiss us;
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    But if you want to drive ‘way sorrow,
    Come and hear dis song to-morrow,
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    CHORUS:
    Den I wish I was in Dixie, Hoo-ray! Hoo-ray!
    In Dixie land, I’ll take my stand to live and die in Dixie;
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie,
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
    Dar’s buckwheat cakes an’ Injun batter,
    Makes you fat or a little fatter;
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    Den hoe it down and scratch your grabble,
    To Dixie’s land I’m bound to trabble,
    Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
    CHORUS:
    Den I wish I was in Dixie, Hoo-ray! Hoo-ray!
    In Dixie land, I’ll take my stand to live and die in Dixie;
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie,
    Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
    Cheers

  10. I take great pride in flying the CANADIAN BLUE ensign. To quote Churchill “a flag that does not contain the greatness of your heritage is no flag for a nation”

  11. Agree with Churchill. Now, what is it about the “red” maple leaf flag that depicts our heritage? Anyone?

  12. So 26 million social media zombies signifies something important? Not really – in perspective it simply means that 1% of 2% of the population has convinced another 7% of the population that confuted sexual identity deserves the sanctity of holy matrimony – the 1% of the 2% are pathologically delusional however they share a lot of symptoms of chronic delusion with the 7% social media warriors who buy into this delusion – good psychological fit but certainly unimportant in the larger perspective of positive human evolution.

  13. The issue of slavery was front and centre right from the start. If you’ve never done so you should read the Declaration of Causes page over at civilwar.org.

  14. “What has been overlooked, perhaps on purpose, is that the issue of slavery didn’t begin until the half way point of the four year war.
    It is why, to this day, the South does not refer to it as a civil war but only as ‘the War Between the States’.”
    1. It was very much a civil war and the South lost.
    2. Secession over the issue of “states’ rights” did not occur because of a disagreement about cheese quotas; it occurred because of a disagreement about – slavery.
    I personally think the witch hunt against the Confederate flag has now reached ridiculous proportions but that doesn’t change the facts.
    US Admiral Farragut (himself a Southerner)once told a group of secession-minded Virginians:
    “Mind what I tell you: You fellows will catch the devil before you get through with this business.”
    And so they did.

  15. Cal2,
    Regarding your flag links, the “Rising Sun” is still the flag of the Japan Self Defense Forces, and the German flag is the current flag of Germany, so neither one is anything to get exercised about. The Che Guevara flag on the other hand…

  16. It depicts nothing about Canada’s heritage other than as a Liberal Party banner.

  17. That’s not correct.
    Slavery abolition was a constant underlying and very significant issue – and the basis for the war in many respects with the skirmishes in Kansas over whether it would be a slave state being a trigger point.
    Dred Scott ruling and the Lincoln Douglas debates were preambles for the war as well.
    The ‘victory’ by the north at Shiloh gave Lincoln the political room to issue the emancipation declaration six months later.

  18. So 26,000,000 ignorant facebook users out of 1.4 billion anyone have the percentage of that?

  19. Putting a rainbow motif on pickup trucks just for gays? Gays will not be confused by this.
    Gays have been throwing “tailgate” parties since the beginning of time and I’m sure they will know what to do.

  20. no the flag shown is an imperial war flag, note the central sun . the new one has an offset centre on the sun .
    the german flag has been switched out , I actually searched it as second world war German flag and it was definitely the crooked cross in the picture . I suspect ebay is cleansing the site.

  21. Jim Webb the (new) Democrat contender for Hillary, is the first to endorse the Battle Flag…Smart. Real Americans are proud of their Heritage, warts & all…If you rewrite your history you lose all the knowledge gained by those living it.

  22. I didn’t chance my profile pic to rainbow water mark, but I did change it to this pic, with the caption:
    You, politically correct bullies, are NOT the boss of me.

  23. Clumsy. The stars should have been removed and the blue area within the stripes replaced with the rainbow pattern. Leave the red areas just as they are, though, as a tribute to totalitarian leftist politics.
