The “F” word is silent, but assumed, because the sentence contains the word “government”. As in, “The F-ing government should F-ing…!”
Because, you know, Liberals.
But it’s always good while it lasts. Social justice and all. Great university major that prepares students for the replacement of those evil capitalists that hinder the full nirvana of unfettered socialism. Social justice and womens studies are the road to salvation, or why would most universities push them with such zeal ? Never mind Venezuela or history that shows it has never succeeded for any length of time. That eventually it brings everyone down to the same level of misery. That it only works until governments disintegrate from graft and corruption while enjoying all that free money that no one seems to work for and buying the votes from adoring drones that know it’s their birth right to enjoy the spoils of socialism without actually working for it. I guess our new improved education system has all the answers. All the positives on socialism while it’s on the way up. Many social justice degrees on many walls. By the time it all crashes the professors will be retired and a new generation will be planning on how to get it right, this time. That’s the problem. The cycle takes too long. It should be crash, burn and starve in 6 months or less. There wouldn’t be time for social justice courses or the higher education professors to indoctrinate all the airheads that believe giving everything to everyone without consequences can have a happy ending. Take from the rich….give to the poor, sounds so good, until the rich are also broke or have left for greener pastures. Like Venezuela. Wonder if Sean Penn has the answers to this dilemma ? Obama and the Democrats seem to. Our Liberals and NDP seem to. Maybe they’ll get it right this time….eh ?
And that laughing sound you hear is Margart Thatcher reminding everyone about what happens when you run out of other people’s money to spend.
And in my late 70’s with enough money to keep me fed and housed but not enough to attract the parasites I should care why?

I agree with MikeT. Just because you worked for it and earned it is no reason to enjoy it. If you didn’t get it from the government then it goes against everything socialism teaches us. According to official doctrine, only government can decide what’s yours and what must be shared with those that didn’t bother to work or save. Prepare to be audited. It sounds like you have too much. Remember what Obama said (with only a slight deviation), If you have a business….You didn’t build it, government did. That goes for nest eggs too.
It was not that long ago that Hugo Chávez was destabilizing Central American governments/countries with largess such as free tractors…..
Probably even the Sandanistas no longer look at the Bolivarian Revolution as a valid role model.
