Police allege Liberal caucus paid $10k to have McGuinty office computers wiped;
Newly released police documents allege the partner of an aide for Dalton McGuinty was paid $10,000 to wipe personal data from the hard drives of computers in the premier’s office which happened to contain emails related to the two cancelled gas plants.
The allegation was contained in over 130 pages of documents which police used in order to obtain a search warrant for the provincial government’s security branch on Jarvis Street which they searched last month.
“I’m totally shocked, SHOCKED, I tell ya!” said absolutely nobody anywhere in Ontario ever.
Umm, the majority of the people of Ontario just voted for a Liberal gov’t, so they may be shocked (if they believe it).
And where pray tell are the email back ups on the off site servers?
Similar to the US IRS rubbish of vanishing emails which just as ‘magically’ reappear.
And why oh why do they always conveniently run these discoveries AFTER the election results?
These people are comedic in their amateurism…

The article doesn’t mention it, but the two Ontario miscreants,Faist and Miller, both moved to B.C. and were given jobs by the Liberals here.
And people say that the BC Liberals are really Conservatives. Sure they are.
Ontarians knew the Liberals were corrupt going into that last election. Ontario gave them a majority anyway. Funny how this detail comes out now that the election is over and the OPP whose union supported the Liberals got whom they wanted elected. What’s it to them now if some flunky goes to jail? Their pensions and payouts from their liberal buddies are already assured.
Ah, the McGuinty legacy, the gift that keeps on giving. Someone once told me, after an apparently frustrating meeting with the then-premier, that “the guy has a room temperature IQ.” To which I replied, “would that be Fahrenheit or Celsius?” In any case, he was obviously smarter than the Ontario electorate, which continues to buy the same snake oil from his hand-picked successor.
As long as the takers and bureaufats get paid.

So not only did Laura Miller (and Dalton McGuinty) get her husband to erase all these hard drives and the evidence they contained, but Miller’s household also profited to the tune of $10,000 – tax-free I’m guessing. Crime pays quite well I guess.
Not only that, Laura Miller then left town to take a job as Executive Director of the BC Liberals.
And not only that, Kathleen Wynne’s new majority government, cut short the committee hearings into this criminal activity so that Miller and her husband Faist (and McGuinty) didn’t have to testify, and possibly serve jail time.
What a disgustingly corrupt Party through and through. And the dopey Ontario electorate voted them yet another majority term because they apparently didn’t ‘like’ Hudak.
And, speaking of corrupt, thank you Ontario Provincial Police for publicly speaking out just before the election to help get Wynne’s Liberals elected again so you could keep your raises coming.

Trusting the OPP seems completely misplaced to me, they have a massive conflict of interest here.
It’s not for nothing that they have been called the Ontario POLITICAL Police.
In other words, I suspect it’s far, far worse then what we see now.

btw had to take a drive yesterday at noon, and heard the excitable Glen Murray, ON Minister of the Environment and Climate Change (really), tell us how we needed new carbon taxes ’cause Burlington’s sewer systems couldn’t take a heavy rain.

Never mind the gas plant scandal. Bringing in an outside person – a family member, no less – and both giving them access to confidential government information and allowing them to irrevocably destroy publicly-owned data should be an immediate firing offense followed by a civil suit for fiduciary misconduct and criminal charges for denial of service/destruction of property.
That this isn’t being done is a giant scandal all on its own.

I don’t give a damn who the Conservatives ran – it could have been their office cleaner. I didn’t much like Hudak either, but how could ANY of them be worse than what Ontario has suffered through the last 12 years, with the increasingly corrupt Liberals driving us hundreds of billions deep into dept, and closer to bankruptcy every month. Ontario has gone from being a productive ‘HAVE’ province, to the financial basket-case of all of North America, during this Liberal reign.
But by all means NME666, wait for a Conservative leader to come along who makes you feel warm and fuzzy before voting the Liberals out of office. That’s obviously much more important to you, and much of the Ontario electorate.
