Does he feel they were weaned too soon, or some other excuse for his “root cause” mantra when speaking of people who commit terrorist acts on innocent people around the world?

  17. Aside from the ghoulishness of some of the comments here, the only thing relevant was the call from some Congress committee chair for Obama to cut short his vacation and return to Washington to deal with the crisis.
    What use would that be? Obama is of no use in dealing with foreign crises whether he’s in the Oval Office or out on the golf course. And since everyone and his uncle in Terrorists R Us knows that his red lines are made out of ketchup his threats don’t mean much any more either.

    Far as criticizing somebody for playing golf, on the scale of everything, how much does it really matter?
    Far more important is being able to deal with issues and Obama’s solutions seem to be under par as far as the American public is concerned.
    Obama foreign policy rating, if my memory is correct, is somewhere near minus-64.

I disagree, he probably put himself at risk because like every other overseas Reporter since the Gulf War, he wants to be the next “scud stud”,which will raise him to heroic heights in his chosen profession, and guarantee amulti-million dollar contract with one of the Biggies in the News business.
    We don’t need Reporters in the battlefield,especially those of today’s leftist bent.These guys are NOT “Ernie Pyles”, but paparazzi willing to rat out OUR soldiers for anything they think isn’t done according to progressive “rules” of gentlemanly engagement.
    We peasants need only one thing from Reporters when a war is on, and that is information which indicates if we’re winning,or losing,and THAT can be offered by a military spokesman in a briefing at Headquarters,safely behind the Lines.
    War is going to be ugly,and showing it “up close and personal” in America’s living rooms already cost us one war. Keep the Press the hell OUT of the war zone, keep them away from tattling on one of our soldiers like our Capt.Robert Semrau,who was Court Martialled for dispatching a wounded Taliban fighter.
    For Western civilization to survive, we must learn to fight to WIN, and it’s just that much more impossible to win if the battlefield is complicated by civilians wanting to further their careers,often at the expense of our soldiers careers.

  26. If we shut down all media that glorifies murder, and totalitarian barbarism, the main stream media would be out of business. Start by researching Walter Duranty of the New York Times, and CNN in Iraq.

  35. Not sure what your point is. Add the atrocities ISIS has committed to the list of ‘it’s Putin’s fault’? You may have noticed that Putin supported Assad in Syria, since ISIS is also trying to capture territory there. You may also recall Obama said Assad crossed a red line in his fight against ISIS headchoppers.
    Which brings up an interesting question. Whose side are you on anyway?
    Since you went on an off-topic tangent to bring up the subject, did you see the news item last week where a Ukrainian general admitted it’s possible his troops may have shot down the Malaysian airliner?
    Neither did I in any of the western media. That’s because it’s Putin’s fault. Correct?

    Did you notice that Obama says ISIL not ISIS thus affirming their claim to the Levant – Turkey to Egypt.
