Justin Trudeau puts the entire Canadian economy at risk. Canada is no place for him. Canadians should reject him.
I’m saddened still by the utter collapse of the Parti Quebecois in their most recent election.
Go ahead pretty boy run against the pipeline. Be the man prove to the world you can screw things up just like Dad. What a guy,
The one thing that would put the country at risk would be Trudeau as PM, the boy/man is a vacuous twit. I’m surprised the Liberals haven’t arranged for him to go play golf with their idol Obama.
What the hell would Trudeau know about the economy, he thinks budgets will balance themselves.
Eskimo is bang on. This pale version of Obama is a serious threat to both the economy and the environment.
AND he’s negotiaiting decriminalization with Marc emery:
http://www.straight.com/news/666691/marc-emery-details-plans-end-marijuana-prohibition-justin-trudeau-and-liberals
More and more he moves further to the far left, taking the party with him and to defeat at the polls.
Curious as to how THE PONCE would get the oil out to buyers?
How about a pipeline through Lac Megantic?………Oh wait!…….
Put the coastal economy at risk? At risk of what? Expanding? Becoming more vibrant? Creating wealth? I am absolutely sure he sees that scenario as bad.
Kelly hit the key point of “what coastal economy are you talking about?” but let’s step aside from that one for a moment. JT said he supported development of the oil sands, but now he says he’s opposed to the principal method whereby it will be delivered to customers. And it’s apparent he can’t even see the inconsistency in his own positions. Mulcair at least had the honesty to be opposed to the whole thing.
So just so we’re clear, Shiny Pony has goofed on every major policy pronouncement he’s made since being crowned Liberal leader. And he’s surrounded by a coterie of nitwits. It’s not that he’s not ready for prime time. He’ll NEVER be ready for prime time.
The little prick truly hates the oilpatch. Marijuana is one drug they can’t use because it lingers too long and forces people to buy clean pee. But there’s a good business in clean pee.
Does the Hair Who Would be King have shares in CNR? The oil will be getting to the west coast, one way or another.
SP,the vacuous twerp, should frown more with his tweets and hashtags like Moochelle does. Just to show how much he cares and that he really means business.
How does Justin think all the social programs he’s been advocating will be PAID FOR?
Resource industries have a multiplier effect. They creative jobs and benefit communities and the overall economy, paying for health care, education, infrastructure, MP’s salaries and pensions, etc. Pipelines fuel our Canadian way of life.
Harper had better get the damned thing started, 2015’s pretty close. If Trudeau can activate half the activists, he just might win.
Impossible,you say?
Not in Canader
Stupid on pipelines, correct on MJ. This combo will probably get him to minority.
Has he called for a cleanup of Montreal yet?
Speaking of places not to put heavy industry … π
Does he mean the coastal economy that uses fossil fuel powered fishing boats, chain saws, cruise ships, airplanes, emergency helicopters?
Or the coastal economy powered by Gaia Phairy Pharts and used Hippy birthday thongs.
And what does he think of the offshore oil industry in the Maritimes?
Daddy’s ambition and arrogance.
Mommy’s brains and hair.
BC NDP tied the no pipeline route in the last election. When Dix flip-flopped their support died.
“Or the coastal economy powered by Gaia Phairy Pharts and used Hippy birthday thongs.”
You forgot the unicorn methane plants!
Approved… with the 209 conditions. Some work ahead but optimism prevails.
The petulant little punk doesn’t even address him in the proper manner. It’s Prime Minister Harper not Mr. Harper.
“…And what does he think of the offshore oil industry in the Maritimes?…”
Think?
Fred, Fred, Fred! What do you get when you cross a yellow smart aleck with a teenaged shagaholic?
I think Sophie’s kind of pretty… and she may be the brains behind the operation too! π
Let’s just get the thing built already. They’ve already wasted 6 months. Git ‘er in the ground. Unless the Prince Rupert alternative was provided for in the NEB hearings, that would open up a whole new kettle of fish.
Another export alternative if all else fails is to built 2 or 3 humungous refineries on the US border and truck the gasoline as far as Chicago, Kansas City, and Denver. Suncor knows the retail end of things but Petro-Canada wouldn’t go over big in the U.S. so they might have to find a new name.
Just listening to Mulcair getting himself tied up in knots over the Northern gateway. He says WHEN the NDP form the next government in 2015 he will shut it down. I guess all welfare cheques will continue to be made from fairy dust.
I want to thank Justin Trudeau for caring so much about the environment in Western Canada. We should repay his vigilance by demanding the closure of the Saint Lawrence Seaway to all those dirty, polluting, fossil fuel burning ships. Why on Earth are we still using ships that create greenhouse gases – which contribute to Climate Change – when we should be using safe, clean, carbon neutral sailing ships?!?
I’m sure Justin Trudeau and Thomas Mulcair will support closing the seaway for the sake of the environment.
A poll could use some help.

“..she may be the brains behind the operation too…”
Then we’re really in trouble…because she married that tit. Just like Maggie married Pierre.
Does my hair look better up, or down? Gawd I hate the decisions I have to make as PM in waiting!
More and more he moves further to the far left, taking the party with him
All I can say is it worked for Wynne in Torontario and the boy Bimbo will follow her lead.
Well it’s obvious the Libozo team handling the empty hair do think they can win an election without the west. Pipeline hysteria has not infected western culture like it and it’s sibling global warming have infected the zombie voting block back east.
Question for the empty hair do – if Alberta is evil for seeking pacific rim markets for its oil production, is Newfy and NS similarly “evil” for seeking an north south pipeline route to their markets – Or is that different because the feds have a piece of that output which the LPC intend to buy votes with?
Isn’t Ralph Goodale from oil country? Is he opposed to oil exports or is he simply an idiot? Hopefully this tells some blue Liberal voters that Justin has turned them Commie.
Come on Alberta, get your separatist movement up and running already. Have it in position as a big stick to smack hair-boy around with. Go ahead Toronto scum: elect that douchebag and say goodbye to your oil revenues, @$$-licks!
I guess the lesson of the BC and Quebec elections ie that opposition to development is not a political winner kind of went over his head.

Had Junior been around when Sir John A. proposed building a railway to the Pacific:
“The proposed railway will ruin the economies of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.”
Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta didn’t exist back then and were called Rupert’s Land at the time of the building of the C.P.R.
Hey Justin, why don’t you ask what your admired Chinese politicians would do if the decision were up to them?
Moron!
Oz “Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta didn’t exist back then and were called Rupert’s Land at the time of the building of the C.P.R.”
You might want to look that one up. The prairies had Manitoba, Assiniboia, Alberta, Athabasca, and Saskatchewan. It had no Rupert’s Land.
“WHEN the NDP form the next government in 2015”
I realize that Mulcair has to portray some degree of optimism, but seriously? There is a better chance of an MLB franchise being awarded to Yellowknife.
“Isn’t Ralph Goodale from oil country? Is he opposed to oil exports or is he simply an idiot?”
We’re not sure about the former but perpetually outraged Ralph certainly meets all the criteria for the latter.
You might want to look up Rupert’s Land. Calgary was the Capitol and was right on the main C.P.R. route.
Oz – look it up – by 1885 Rupert’s Land was an archaic term and Calgary was the capital of nothing. Capitals of the Northwest Territories

Scar look it up, the negotiations to begin building the CPR finished and they began building it in 1881, Alberta was created in 1882.
Had Junior been around when Sir John A. proposed building a railway to the Pacific:
“The proposed railway will ruin the economies of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.”
~Political Junkie
Rupert’s Land did indeed exist when the CPR was being proposed.
Context.
Very true, but as we just saw in Ontario’s election there is a good chance that this vacuous twit could get elected as PM.
Wonder if he knows 400000 bbls per day goes thru Vancouver and they have aplolied to double it. And almost 800000 bbls per day floats by kitimate everyday from Alaska.
Alberta and Saskatchewan created in 1905.
Let him freeze in the dark.
Obama Care gave us one icon; Pyjama Boy.
Just-In constantly reminds me of Pyjama Boy.
Once the city twits elect the Libtards as the Ontario Party, the West will be free.
It is impossible to remain in a nation with such divided ideologies.
Once the kleptocrats are back in Ottawa, the country is over.
And thanks to Obamanation, the key western American states and Alaska are primed to join the Western Union.
Mr Trudeau also announced that anyone who supports the pipeline will be expelled from caucus, so they better make up their minds. In related news the entire Liberal caucus west of Manitoba has been urged to resign in protest. Joyce, Hedy and Ralph could not be reached for comment.
Just kidding, but thanks JT. No, before you open your mouth, I was just kidding!!
The Gateway pipeline may become a huge wedge issue in the 2015 federal election: PMSH arguing for growth, jobs etc and everyone else arguing just the opposite. 1988 redux? Leaned in the Post today that safety provisions include: ships in the channel must be double hulled, two pilots, tugs buttoned on fore and aft and ground based radar all the way. Sounds adequate to me.
