  1. I watched it all the way through and was severely disappointed lightning didn’t strike.

  2. So let’s see what we have here. Rice states that it was so urgent that there was no time for the 30-day notice. Bluntly confessing that, yes, the administration broke the law, but that the urgency justified the actions taken. In short, the administration can set aside the law whenever it’s inconvenient.
Second, such dire urgency over rescuing an individual who may or may not be a deserter. Interesting, where was Rice’s urgency the night that an American ambassador was gunned down by Al Qaeda? Were there assets that could have intervened? It would seem so, but Teleprompter in Chief was asleep at the switch. And despite knowing better, Rice was blaming all this on a video.
Rice of course avoids the issue of negotiating with terrorists. In so doing, it’s reversed 40 years of globally agreed policy ever since the Munich Olympics. Does Rice not imagine that there will not be a severe price to pay for such cavalier abandoning of a central principle of fighting terrorism? A price paid not just by her administration but by generations to come?
Rice is simply confirming her position as Liar-In-Chief for the Teleprompter-In-Chief.

  3. “The sense of pride expressed by officials of the Obama administration at the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is not shared by many of those who served with him, veterans and soldiers who call him a deserter whose “selfish act” ended up costing the lives of better men….said former Sgt. Matt Vierkant”
    So sez CNN here http://www.cnn.com/2014/06/01/us/bergdahl-deserter-or-hero/index.html
The National security advisor is so deep in her own lies, one gets the impression that the advisor lives in her own made up world.
Let us see now ….went missing on the night of June 30, 2009, that would make it somewhat less than 5 years (Wikipedia).
So the guy was in prison for all that time and suddenly it become urgent so much so that the occupant of the White House saw it fit to negotiate with terrorists without the knowledge of the congress and give up 5 upstanding members of terrorist killers.
Then this advisor goes TV and sez, there was no time to waste.
The advisor should get some kind of award for being the designated liar of the current administration and being so very good at it.
The trouble is, “journalists” being what they are, either don’t know, don’t want to know or omit the important parts.
You want to have sympathy for Bergdahl, though from the current information it could be difficult.

  4. I love the “stunt / distraction” theory for this file. A lose-lose negotiation for the US to distract the mindless from the inherent features of a microcosm of the single-payer future of all US health care. The largest and brokest leviathan in the history of the planet run by an absolute cull.

  5. I have some, albeit not much, sympathy for Bergdahl even if he was a deserter. Combat can be a truly terrible thing. Better men than he have broken completely under the strain.
But I have nothing but antipathy to the Obama administration which cynically tried to buy the release of an American serviceman to make the VA scandal go away.

  6. Looks like the Taliban got one hell of a deal. I’m pretty sure the US could have negotiated a better deal than 5 to 1.

  7. Well, he did say that he would fundamentally change America. Although I do not think anybody thought that would be continually breaking the law and going around Congress with executive orders.

  8. Looks like old Suze just picked up where she left off. Covering the boss’s ass by lying through her teeth.
On a side note, Candy (who apparently ate/eats too much candy) has calves that you could tattoo a life size football upon. I usually try not to consider a person’s physical characteristics, however, she was such a bitch to Romney I couldn’t help myself. Sorry.

  9. & another of the men that served with Bengdahl …
    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/06/02/soldier-who-served-with-sgt-bergdahl-describes-him-as-an-oddball-who-deserted-his-post/
“He seemed a little oddballish, and would say odd stuff like … ‘America was a superpower and shouldn’t be, and we’re trying to bully around the world,’ and stuff like that, just oddball comments like that,” Fuller began. “I didn’t think too much of it until … he ended up leaving and deserting, deserting the post.”

  10. well now, Stevens went and got hisself dead, so was useless as a barging chip, but viola, bergdahl is already in place. Watch for more questionable exchanges.
And liar suzy Lice lies, tell me it ain’t so!!

  11. Taliban prisoner swap was ILLEGAL claims GOP as former federal prosecutor says it could lead to Obama’s impeachment

Taliban leaders given hero’s welcome in footage claiming to show prisoners arriving in Qatar after Guantanamo release … with no American presence in sight

  12. She took lessons with Carney, right?
And did I just see a subtitle “No soldier left behind”? How noble…
    Except in Benghazi.

  13. This from people who let the Lockerbe bomber free while lying he had cancer.
Why didn’t they include the Christian Women shackled in the Sudan, & her American child.
    Than there is Benghazi.
She floats more lies than the devil has in his quiver.
Of course the commenter is practising licking the Obamite bums lies like a pop cycle.
Always agreeing, not knowing a thing about the deserter.

  14. Of course she knows about the deserter aspect. But far be it from the Communist News Network to bring up any inconvenient truths.

  15. If you look carefully you can see her nose growing.
James, exactly. This White House seems to be full of Muslim sympathizers.

  16. I blame the media. Obama knew nothing about Bergdahl being a deserter until it was reported in the media over the weekend. Had the media been doing their job and reported all the details at the time, Obama would have been informed. Maybe, the negotiations would have been different.

  17. Susan Rice is just another incompetent, arrogant affirmative action hire, just like her boss.

  18. “The advisor should get some kind of award for being the designated liar of the current administration and being so very good at it.”
I disagree she is not a good liar…..that is if a “good liar” is competent, convincing and/or somewhat believable, which Rice is not.

  19. You nailed it as succinctly as could be. As smart and as educated as Ms. Rice is, her career and her reputation is now worthless. For somebody like a Press Sec. to lie for the administration is one thing… for a Diplomat of her credentials is tantamount to hari kari. And for what?

  20. Its so funny Glen Beck says, soldier Andrew Tahmooressi is telling the truth while at the same time telling us that soldier Bowe Bergdahl is a liar. You should see his interview with Andrew Tahmooressi, trying to get him to slam the Whitehouse, sorry gecky, no go. Gecky has always been full of lies, remember his FEMA death camps rants, what a joke and all his chicken littles that try to sell that the sky is falling but we know better, keep lying Gecky, that all you do now!

  21. I admire the efficiency of the White House. You trade vermin in Cuba for a deserter and distract the media (Look, squirrel!) from the quagmire that is the VA hospital mess.
I love our American Cousins dearly but sometimes you have to wonder at just how dumb they are.

  22. This is a huge distraction but the really funny thing in that video is that Rice claimed Defense cleared this with Justice/Holder…

  23. “I love our American Cousins dearly but sometimes you have to wonder at just how dumb they are.”
Not as dumb as their Northern neighbours who would have voted for St. Obama by a bigger margin than did the Americans.
Let’s not forget that four of five major Canadian political leaders (Eliz May, Thomas Mulcair, Gilles Duceppe and baby Trudeau) are either Marxists or spawn of Marxist.
