Dalton McGuinty’s last chief of staff got a deputy’s IT-savvy boyfriend “unrestricted” access to 24 employees’ computers in the premier’s office before and after Kathleen Wynne took power, alleges a search warrant request from an OPP officer probing deleted emails in the $1.1 billion scandal over cancelled power plants.
Before obtaining the access, chief of staff David Livingston told the executive assistant to Cabinet Secretary Peter Wallace of his intent to use a person from outside the Ontario Public Service to wipe out hard drives in the offices of the premier during the transition to Wynne’s government, the document alleges.

The Ontario PC’s need to trash the “Progressive” and become Conservatives not half-assed Liberals.
Hudak is the only choice we have if we care about our survival in Ontario. He may not be pleasing all Conservatives, they may not like his personality, the cut of his jib, or some other petty excuse for not supporting him but we need to give him a chance, even if it’s only because he’s NOT Liberal or their enablers the NDP. Conservatives need to STFU and get serious about working to get rid of the rats who have taken us to the abyss,Tim Hudak is not to blame, it’s the Wynne/Horwath team making deals to avoid facing the electorate, save their own political hides.
We’ve been lied to from day one of the McGuinty romp, he even lied about the fact he would stay for his full term prior to the last election….he quit when the shit was about to hit the fan, had no stomach to stay and face his mess. You’d have to have a thought process of a turnip to even consider voting for the Liberal regime under Wynne, she sat in McGuinty’s cabinet. If she didn’t know what was going on with the gas plant cancellations why did she sign her name to the deal?
Looks pretty simple to me, this illegal accessing of government computers was done after Wynne became Premier, moving up from chief political officer of the party.
So either she is incompetent and did not know and has a support team too stupid to realize what was going on..
Or she is complicit, having been water carrier for squinty.
Hudak could grow a pair and nail this unelected creature, as politically she is damned either way.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Hudak is to be blamed for his inept campaign last time – he should have stepped down after that fiasco. He is to be blamed for his inability to make a principled stand (HRC, right to work etc). One can reluctantly support Torries, vote while holding their nose and at the same time be conscious of the fact that he votes for someone who given the right environment may make the right decision at best or merely for a lesser evil at the worst. Sorry such is reality and we do ourselves no favours by wearing rose coloured glasses.

Great letter Shawn. However, I get the feeling the Harvard bunch are very intentionally ‘keeping the boys’ (Iggy and Mcguinty) under their wings.
