   10 years ago all I watched was CBC news, now its enough same BS.

5. I think Israel won the West Bank. It’s their property, to do with as they please.
   They won it, and the Golan Heights, and Gaza, and the Sinai Peninsula, to do as they please, as they were attacked by barbarians.
   Now if there are remnants of barbarians living in those areas, it simply underlines the good will of the Israelis for allowing them to remain there, against all common sense. In a way, it reminds me of what’s happened to those southern states bordering Mexico in the USA.
   I think in retrospect that it would have been a good idea to push Egypt past the Suez Canal and immediately annexed it as well, providing revenue to the state of Israel.
   That’s what happens when you attack a country and lose. How many examples of countries attacking other countries and losing would you like me to list?
   It doesn’t seem to be a fair comparison to mention what happened to Finland / USSR… as it was Finland that was attacked, and lost 10% or their territory. Still, nobody brings that one up. Was Tibet the belligerent with China? I don’t recall Tibet attacking anyone…
   I prefer to mention Chile’s experience in the War of the Pacific. Sweet Bolivia / Peru, now shut up.

15. Neil Macdonald is one of the chief reasons why this former Newsworld junkie gave up several years ago. I have to tell you that I don’t miss it, and my evenings now are considerably less stressful. There are still some things on CBC Radio worth listening to, but, seriously, does anyone watch CBC television anymore? And yet, it hangs on like grim death.
