1. I have a T-shirt picked up on one of the Greek Isles. Yes! I am one of the privileged who was able to work until the age of 70 and saved and invested wisely, up to now.
   The T-shirt has a series of characters on it representing the rise of humankind from the earliest primates through Homo Erectus and Cro-Magnon man to Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Except the modern Homo Sapiens Sapiens is turned to face the other cartoon images and says “Stop Following Me!”,
   Naturally when I wear this where I will be among known “Progressives” there is usually a person who will approach and say or ask “I guess you don’t believe in evolution?” This being said with a smirk either on their face on in their voice.
   My response is that I sure do and ask what type of Darwinism are you? This puts the individual into a quandary and they either say “what does it matter?” or “what do you mean?”
   I then attempt to have them agree they are really a Social Darwinist and then quietly tell them “you the believe in every person for themselves as Social Darwinists actually believe in the survival of the fittest”.
   The overwhelming dismay or silence at this moment allows the next statement. Actually I am a Lamarckian which is the same as Charles Darwin believed when he died. He finally recognized that Lamarck’s thesis , expounded decades before Charles Darwin’s and closer in time to when Charles Darwin’s grandfather was discussing ongoing change in the development of creatures.
   The usual closing comment in this normally one-sided discussion is the pre-Darwinism Lamarckian theory includes a recognition there is a characteristic transfer of culture from generation to generation. Which, at least to me is now being confirmed with scientific study including D.N.A.
   My point? a little less compassion, small bratty humans grow into large destructive humans. Broad based compassion only makes the live of the less privileged less kind. Cheers;

2. An excellent essay. The politically correct, multicultural, altruistic, essentially the inverted morality of the progressives has created a safe habitat for the retrograde forces of the planet (typified by Islam) from which to enable consumption and digestion from within. Within such civilizational ruin, the rational are prevented from speaking out and acting in their own self defense until all that’s left is violence. Once free speech is gone, all that remains is a variant of war where voluntary exchange of ideas and material is replaced with coercion.
   It’s important to recognize the actual culprits (the destroyers and enablers rather than the civilizational carrion eaters).

3. It often appears that humans stand this old “survival of the fittest” thing on its head.
   In the last generation or two we have witnessed flourishing modern democracies at the height of their power committing suicide, by indulging, supporting, and encouraging the growth of the stupid, the violent, and the ignorant.
   But, I guess if you’re not smart enough to realize what you’re doing to your society, you’re not very ‘fit’, are you?

Ruthlessness is a not a genetic trait of the “entitled” who bark for crumbs from the kleptocrats dinning table – for the street level zombie hordes trying to extort themselves a bigger chunk of the pillage their government’s provide it is a learned behaviour. However, in the elite who feel “entitled” to run a kleptocratic nation and control and every aspect of our lives and thinking – in that small cabal of “entitled” rulers/natural governing class/entitled economic junto, the reflex for unrestrained ruthlessness is first nature – genetic if you will.
   We should not be surprised that the predisposition for ruthlessness and remorselessness rapacity in the supporters of kleptocracy mimic their leaders/icons/roll models.

   That’s a good one, it may take some explanation to liberals, but i’ll use it.

6. The “fittest” will always be a minority dependent on the drones that make up the majority of voters or shareholders in a democratic system. We see that in every election. The “fittest” in communist countries seize power by eliminating the weaker competitors. They control the entitlements and degree of ruthlessness. We have a “not one child left behind” policy while they have a “not one threat left behind” policy. Our weak have now colonized the strong, as the decline in western dominance is more than obvious. Our very survival will soon depend on our willingness to seek out a leader who is ruthless yet benevolent, but not until all other options have been exhausted. Such people are out there (Reagan, Thatcher) but it’s just as likely to get another Hitler or Stalin. We have to hit bottom before the left will understand the damage they have created and then we will see if the “fittest” can salvage a democratic system or history is repeated with another “Forward” call to action. Either way, the left will lose their entitlements and ruthlessness will dominate. That’s why they no longer teach history or critical thinking. The “fittest” of the ruling class today are enjoying their success while oblivious to the the damage their policies are creating in order to pacify the colonists. We will all pay for letting the weak colonize the strong.

   The seeds of this gradual decline in the west were planted by British Prime Minister Lloyd George and President Woodrow Wilson. WW II accelerated this decline and while President Reagan brought a period of remission, the western leadership only accelerated the decline post-Reagan.
   So, we are a corpse wallowing in parades in which people exhibit depravity, and in mindless survivor TV shows. Meanwhile the colonists are biding their time.

8. I agree Ken but I doubt if George or Wilson could foresee what their seeds would eventually sprout. The pride, hope and freedom has disappeared within the last couple of generations and at a accelerated pace since 9/11. We desperately need leadership although I believe it’s already too late. When the colonists consider Hillary Clinton as the “fittest” person to run the country, it’s too late to salvage this corpse. It’s bread and circus time.

9. One of the factors in this process is excusing the behavior of the “poor” as being caused by circumstances and punishing similar behavior in the “rich” (unless, of course, they happen to be darlings of the self-declared intelligensia). When bad behavior goes unpunished, it proliferates.
   The way to stop this process is to be equally ruthless in return. The primary exposure I have to the entitled “poor” is in their demand for an endless number of free items for “medical” reasons. Usually the patient will tell me that they can’t afford drug X and I notice their nicotine stained fingers and mention that they’re going to have to make choices; give up smoking or forgo the drug they claim not to be able to afford. This usually ends in a tirade on their part of how they’re “victims” of the greedy tobacco industry and that the drug they need should be theirs through some right that makes sense only to them and the grievance industry. There was a time that I would have made a perfunctory effort to secure coverage but now it’s a very hard line letting them know it’s all up to them and I have no sympathy for their self-created predicament. They leave very pissed off and, if I’m lucky, will look for another physician.
   What is needed is a good dose of arrogance distributed liberally to those individuals who are self-sufficient and actually performing useful work. We don’t give MRSA bacteria special dispensation for their destructive actions because they’re poor tiny organisms; we eradicate them. Roundworms may seem like a pathetic harmless organism until they multiply and block the bile ducts of a patient and kill them. There’s no hesitation in eradicating non-human parasites (at least for the moment) and similar considerations should apply to Homo Sapiens var parasitis which should be ruthlessly eradicated before it has a chance to breed unchecked and destroy western civilization.
   Similarly hard lines should be taken with the industry that has grown up dependent on the parasite class for their livelihood. Elimination of the parasite class would require them to actually go out and find some useful social function to perform.
   As a start, be much more liberal in using appropriate terms such as “parasite” when it’s indicated. Such language results in various reactions in moonbats ranging from the shocked to catatonic, but elimination of euphemisms is just one of the first steps in dealing with the growing parasite class.

10. Well said as usual. What we need is the Sheriff of Arizona (Joe Arpaio) on a national scale. He is hated by the left, he gets results, he sticks to the “kiss” program and finds useful social functions for the parasites to perform. Everything wrapped up in a common sense package where entitlements are earned. Elected 6 times in Maricopa County with every effort to throw him out by the left rejected by the voters. No other ambitions except to serve the people. He would make a great social service minister and a template for economic recovery, in my opinion.
