    In a chapter titled, “Write the Truth: Presidents and Slaves,” “Rethinking” editor and Milwaukee teachers union President Bob Peterson explains how he used Freire’s approach with his fifth-grade students:

    “Specific objectives for this mini-unit (about slave-owning U.S. presidents), such as reviewing the use of percentages, emerged as the lessons unfolded… “I figure that if kids start questioning the ‘official story’ early on, they will be more open to alternative viewpoints later on. While discovering which presidents were slave owners is not an in-depth analysis, it pokes an important hole in the godlike mystique that surrounds the ‘founding fathers.’”

    Embattled Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner and an attorney in the Federal Election Commission’s general counsel’s office appear to have twice colluded to influence the record before the FEC’s vote in the case of a conservative non-profit organization, according to e-mails unearthed by the House Ways and Means Committee and obtained exclusively by National Review Online. The correspondence suggests the discrimination of conservative groups extended beyond the IRS and into the FEC, where an attorney from the agency’s enforcement division in at least one case sought and received tax information about the status of a conservative group, the American Future Fund, before recommending that the commission prosecute it for violations of campaign-finance law.

  9. The IPCC is bringing out new chart that show a increase in Carbon “pollution” will raise hell with the crime rate by 2065. Of course they’ll all be dead by then but they are hoping this new venture into the criminal field will keep the gravy train rolling. The answer to lower crime rates will of course be higher carbon taxes.

If she was the only one there could be hope for a better future but when you look at the full field of mental midgets it’s frightening. Pelosi, Sheila Jackson Lee, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Joe Biden, Raul Grijalva and even Obama himself among the few front runners and the future starts to look very bleak indeed. The shallow end of the gene pool is in charge and have the votes to destroy the country. Forward.

  23. Tim Hortons Franchised coffee shops have been making the evening news in Canada for anonymous customers paying coffee “forward”
    Here in Woodstock Ontario,the plotline is somewhat different in that Leslie, the franchise owner has ten or so “four leafed clovers” in wallet sized laminated plastic to give away to ANY customer who has seen this on “Small Dead Animals” blog.
    The very first one out of the gate, so to speak will have a $10.00 bill accompanying it, (yes it is my $10.00 bill)

  30. I know it was hard to catch-the video was very fast paced, but there was sublimal and not so subtle grooming innuendos in the viral tampon viral video. Specifically where the little girl is stting cross legged on her bed (at Camp Surprise)opening her care package of tampons and a candy while exclaiming “It’s like Santa for your v a g i na” Hmm-just how is an old grey haired man, that young girls associate sitting on the lap of to get presents no less, good for a little girls vagina? That line is a loaded double entendre. Not to mention the inclusion of candy in the box. Candy to entice little girls is a well known grooming method. Talk about subliminal. We need to teach our daughters there is no shame in being and staying classy-it’s a matter of self respect, and more importantly safety for our daughters. Wondering how many child molesters have that video on repeat. Some transgenders showed up for sure. No doubt this will be shown in schools to teach girls about menstration.

    So where does that leave all those leftist clowns who think we should be a society of “citizens, not consumers”? (I’ve pointed out before that what the left really means by a “citizen” is a person who, when the government says “Jump”, answers “How high?”)
    Honestly, these jackasses can’t keep their stories straight. There are so many of them, just making it up on the fly. The entire leftist modus operandi is based on cognitive dissonance anyway.
    It reminds me of the time a few years back when someone at the United Nations decided the term “visible minority” was racist. It would all be laughable if there weren’t literally millions of leftist parasites involved, leeching off the hard-working and productive, both rich and poor.
