“NEWS” is a point of view, given from a perspective which may or may not be suitable to the viewing, hearing, reading public.
With the short attention span of most of the Network viewers, the delay had to be edited out to keep them from switching channels because of the lack of action from the video. Sound bites are the reality.

Actually, it was NBC that blew up the truck (and edited the 911 call).
ABC edited the juror’s interview.
Bets on what CNN edited?

I believe it was Heinlein who opined that the best way to lie is tell part of the truth and then shut up. I wonder he had audio-video editing by major media in mind when he wrote this profundity? Of course ABC NBC CNN have nothing on our own CTV CBC which is the reason I boycott all of them.

Let’s see, (un)civil war in Syria, Iran trying to build a nuclear bomb, the US gov prying into everyone’s electronic communications without justifiable cause, Detroit bankrupt, Benghazi, the US govt magically having the same debt level for 58 days straight, the IRS targeting conservatives but the media focus is on George Zimmerman, the man the LSM couldn’t frame.
Maybe it’s because Mr Zimmerman is the only topic that doesn’t make Obama look like a clueless tyrant?

It’s disgusting that these trusted news sources are “CAUSING” enormous physical and financial damage to the US with flat out lies and created histories of people, in this case to help Obama further the racial divide. Tell the small business owner that gets his business premises wrecked that there’s nothing to see here, move along.

This is the actual mode that the current mass media operates. The whole truth is very unattractive to them. They report the half of it and make up the rest as per their ideology.
“Journalists” should never be allowed near mass media. Those that have natural talent for reporting are much more interesting than those that went to scrool (as some say) of journalism.
The natural talent does not have preconceived idea of how to report. The schooled types were filled with useless mush in the institutions.

They seldom if ever report even half of the facts. All they need and all they use is the one detail that can be played upon to create the story they desire.
Broadcast news is fiction and print is now better.

The term I think you’re looking for is ‘narrative’. The facts are irrelevant, just cut and paste the names into the template…

Remember, they have to keep it short and punchy, to keep the audience’s attention. And if they have to edit some of the reporting to keep it short and simple, that’s just artistic license, like how movie trailers have to sell a 90+ minute film in 30 seconds. They needed to convey that Zimmerman was a racist murderer in as few words as possible, and making mention of how he, say, tutored troubled black youths, would only confuse the prospective audience. Leave the plot twists and conflicted motivations for the full-length feature presentation, right now it’s about the headline.

The fraudulent narrative continues unabated – the crime bosses in DC must have a stake in driving this fraud to either disarm the public or make them subjects of some racial pecking order run by the FBI.
In any event it appears the Obamamedia forgot how OJ “got away with murder”.

CBC website just reported that a group of 4 were mobbed in Halifax last night. One has been hospitalized. No mention of race until you get to the official police report. The cops identify the attackers as approx. 20 Black youths. Just another example that supports what’s being discussed on this thread.

The Media have become civilizations decay in action. They do not chronicle news , but invents it .
Now that its is politicised, its a parasite that will eat its host to death.
They are the real enemy of our culture, the Gomorrah factor in print or video.

I still don’t understand the news appeal of an Hispanic killing a black man or vice versa. That was formerly known as Saturday night, maybe page 4 of the City Section. I simply don’t get it. Thousands of black teenagers have probably died since and they’re on page 4 of the city section. It’s that damn Jewish sounding name. If he was Jesus Gonzales, we would have never heard of him.
