  1. McDinky would’ve bobbled it; Layton while fawning for the camera woulda fallen over the railing!

  2. Wow. I’m sure every elderly hippy, gay hipster and flat, hairy chested feminist in that city probably had a stroke with that one.
Gonna be a lot of busy garbage trucks over the next few days!

Relax, it was at a football game. The crowd that turns up its nose at anything Ford does or stands for would expect that kind of plebeian behavior from athletes.

  4. Good job by Arland Bruce, giving fits to the Ford-haters.
I’m happy to see he’s got a tryout with Montreal as he can be a big part of the team’s offence when he’s on his game.

  5. The mayor of Calgary has never been the “voice” of average normal Albertans since King Ralph left office. When I lived there silly council and the mayor’s office have been where progressive wanna be politicians have hung out.

  6. Well at least this is some positive notoriety, the poor schlub will never be remembered for his accomplishments but at least this is something memorable.
The concerted relentless, remorseless virulent lefty attacks on this popular mayor who won a big majority in his election, has hardened me politically. I no longer scoff at GTA left wing zealotry, I used to think they were simply intellectually inbred, socially isolated and mentally unstable, but now I see they are a malicious civilly destructive force and overtly anti-democratic – as this whole GTA left vs Ford tantrum demonstrates, they are simply eating their own guts out over losing control of the Mayor’s office and political influence in city hall – it has creed a vacuum in the narrow visioned politically correct municipal leftbot continuum – they think the people who voted for Ford must be confused or stupid and they will do every rotten thing they can to overturn this “mistake”. To these control freak martinet leftoids, populism is a curse. In that regard I feel the courts should be usted to mitigate these attacks/attackers – someone needs to answer for such malicious slanders and vexatious litigation.

  7. Tried to comment at yahoo on the article. Had to give permission to connect Yahoo to Facebook before they would accept the comment. NO THANK YOU.

  8. I love this photo! It speaks 1000 words.
It pays homage, in a very touching way, to Mayor Ford’s many, many years of coaching disadvantaged boys, a fact that his entitled, grudging, mean, uncharitable detractors never mention.
    Go, Ford, Go!
    (Shut up, Clayton Ruby.)

  9. Rob deserves the ball.. Everybody in Football knows this fact..
Its going to be awesome when Rob wins a second term as Mayor..
For the first time in my life, my property tax is actually providing value for its money..
The Toronto “Red” Star is self destructing over its endless attacks on this man and the downtown leftists are exposed for the undemocratic little shits they are..
    Talk about value 🙂

  10. Is this for real or was it photoshopped like the alleged crack cocaine video?
What video? Has anyone seen a video?

  11. OK – everyone knows that the greatest photo in CFL history is the one showing the backfield judge drop the flag on the second last place of a certain Grey Cup game involving the Ri9yjwxtders 3yt88nand the Stamps.66typa
