If you listen carefully, you can hear heads exploding. Its a wonderful sound.
I did have to laugh at this tweet, though.
cartoonists breath a sigh of relief as #robford wins his appeal.

Yeee Hawww! I hope the big smoke commies are eating their own guts out today – go get ’em Rob.
Rob Ford should voluntarily step down now and leave them in their own stink. They’ll eventually run out of conservatives to vote for to keep things on track.
Gee I hope that Clayton Ruby is eating crow. He did everything he could, this entitled pooh-bah, to unseat Toronto’s duly elected mayor and he’s failed.
He looks like the total jerk he is.
I love it: A real doozie of a reporter on CP24 called Clayton Ruby “Clayton Raby”. Uh huh, honey, you got that right: Clayton Ruby’s rabid alright and a despicable human being. It’s guys like him who give lawyers the bad name they’ve got.
What a snake.
‘Can’t wait to see Ruby’s presser. He’ll be as stuck up and insufferable as he usually is but it’ll all be a show. He’s a rabid loser, jerk, snake, hyena, vulture, etc.
Against the never ending malice and anti-democratic actions of the sneaky left, sometimes common sense prevails.
All those who believe in democracy should never darken the doorway of Paul Magder’s business again. Let him survive on the fur business he can generate from the PETA loving left.
God I hate twitter.
Ford’s supporters should initiate a vote to make Vaughan shoot himself in the head. then if Vaughan votes against killing himself they can boot him from council. This is the logic Magder and Ruby used in the first place.
Magder and Ruby have a long history together. Pretty sure it was Ruby working with Magder that got rid of the Sunday shopping ban in Ontario. Paul Magder Furs wanted to close on Saturday (Jewish sabbath)
…and there was no joy in Leftsville, mighty Clayton had struck out! Although that doesn’t seem to have slowed him down, says he will seek leave to appeal to SCoC…Sheesh…
Hounding Ford was basically much ado about nothing much. This costly charade (like replacement of the 5 cruisers torched during G20 riots) will be paid for by the TO taxpayer, soon to get a property tax hike.
Its almost delicious goading the leftards over this, personally, I think some people should send Ruby & Vaughn boxes of Kleenex…. or depends.
I believe you have the wrong Magder, the furrier has been getting calls regarding the lawsuit, but he’s not the guy behind it. The Magder behind it reportedly has an unlisted phone #. Probably a professional leftist complainer & troublemaker.
Don’t confuse Paul Magder the furrier with Paul Magder the Clayton Ruby dupe.
They’re two different people.
Clayton Ruby’s Paul Magder: Paul Magder has an unassuming personality, a fringe of grey hair and a soft voice. Save for volunteering on a couple of campaigns for school board trustees, he says he’s had little experience in the world of Toronto municipal politics. But this slender, quiet man with no public profile to speak of may go down in history as someone who suddenly changed the course of the city. … Mr. Magder has been a family friend of Adam Chaleff-Freudenthaler, a left-wing former member of the city’s library board, since the latter was a child. He suggested that it was because of Mr. Chaleff-Freudenthaler – who has himself launched a legal proceeding to get an audit of Mr. Ford’s campaign donations – that he decided to bring the conflict-of-interest complaint forward.
Amazing – cooler heads prevailed. When does that ever happen?
Looks good on Clueless Rabies though..
Thanks for the clarification on the Magders
Reading the hate from Leftists makes me think of this. While watching that video, whenever you hear “Borg”, substitute in “The Left”. Seriously, is there really any difference in terms of arrogance, [delusional] righteousness, and undemocratic views?
The “You Will Serve Us” line is especially accurate in describing those pushing socialism the most … with themselves as that thin layer on top who have deluded themselves into believing that they are the best ones to rule us all.
In many cases, I believe the fuel behind the Far Leftist mindset is a hatred that was born during the high school years. These folks were the dweebs, the losers, the outcasts. They weren’t the popular ones and developed a seething hatred towards those who were. They’re now trying to take their revenge, by imposing their messed up ideals on everyone else. 🙁
“All those who believe in democracy should never darken the doorway of Paul Magder’s business again. Let him survive on the fur business he can generate from the PETA loving left.”
A different Paul Magder you say? Sorry about that sir. May I suggest we support Magder Furs just to upset PETA members? That’s always a blast.
Average Torontonian before the decision: “The court system has rendered justice”.
Average Torontonian after the decision: “The court system is corrupt, get me a latte”.
Looks like somebody forgot to close some HTML tags…
And, might I add, Robert, that if “Resistance is futile”, why do they feel need to say it three times is 52 seconds?
Once says confidence in the inevitability of their position. Twice is startin’ to bug me. Three times says they’re whistling past the grave yard, and I’m thinkin’, “Who are you trying to convince, me or you?”.
“Looks like someone forgot to close an HTML tag”
I double checked and was sure I closed the tags.
Another apology on the same thread.
I can’t edit so don’t think I can fix the mistake.
Another feather in Clayton Ruby’s hat: first he gets innocent man Guy Paul Morin convicted, and now this. Well done, Prince Arthur Avenue cretin!
Awesome!
No problem…Kate might be able to fix it. Unless this works…
Some of the tweets say Ruby will appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. Anybody know if this is true. There must be some big money behind getting rid of Mayor Ford. That said, I expect that Tides Canada and George Soros are not happy with this decision.
Being sick today I happened to watch CBC who were breathlessly waiting for the decision for about 1 and 1/2 hours. Never have I seen such long faces on the reporters, since May 2011. Another story gone wrong for the people’s network.
“… Some of the tweets say Ruby will appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. Anybody know if this is true.”
So it seems. Ruby’s statement mentioned that he intended to appeal to the SCofC. But that being granted is by no means automatic.

Whenever I think, I am to hard on the leftards, I read their comments on Ford and I think self you can never be to hard on those vile puss filed bags of poop.
On the other hand, Martin, my sister still says to this day that she’d never seen such a long face on CBC as when Keith Boag had to report that the Canadian Alliance and the Progressive Conservative Party had decided to merge.
So, maybe we could have a contest, or something…
Of course, there’s always the May 2, 2011 video of Craig Oliver claiming that the Conservatives would not get a majority, while in behind him the big screen at Conservative headquarters in Calgary Southwest was tuned to CBC projecting a Conservative majority…
So it seems. Ruby’s statement mentioned that he intended to appeal to the SCofC. But that being granted is by no means automatic.
MM
I’m going to venture a guess that it isn’t granted. The lower appellate court was unanimous in its decision, and the case really has no large legal issues that the Supremes need to set precedence on.
This won’t stop the media from reporting every step of the way, not to mention reporting the travesty of the case not being accepted by the SCOC.
The left is mean, unscrupulous and hateful – and – those are thier good points. Good on you Rob Ford!! Do no evil – fear no evil! I hope that leftards in TO tonight are having a good time eating their crow. They deserve much worse.
The hypocrisy of the left on display.
Chief Spence mismanages millions which no doubt causes huge problems for the children on her reserve. The left ignores that, and lines up for photo-ps with her.
Rob Ford commits an minor offence while fundraising for a children’s charity. The left want him removed from office.
It is the right decision, but I am filled with ennui for I know Ford is not really going to make a difference.
The Leftard lackies would make a difference, would they LAS? Just the same old, same old, stuffing their own pockets and those of their union cronies at the expense of the hard-working Toronto taxpayer while Toronto’s infrastructure continues to crumble and while the “service” (sic) on the TTC continues to deteriorate.
I was on the TTC at 5:00 last night; on the East/West line, there were hundreds of people waiting on the Westbound platform at the Yonge Station. I decided to do the Southbound route up to my stop (on the East/West line) and continued to hear, for the next 20 minutes, the announcement to passengers: sorry for the inconvenience, etc. I wonder how long the crowds in the hundreds had to wait? I wonder if any buses were deployed to shuttle passengers? Our “public transportation system” is a joke. A bad joke. There would have been parents trying to pick their kids up at daycare — and not able to call the caregivers to tell them why they were late, etc. It being the weekend, there would have been people trying to make connections for weekend travel, etc. What a disaster.
I’ve been in subways in London, New York, Paris, and Rome and never once heard these kinds of announcements about delays in service that I hear nearly every time I take the TTC. Un-bee-lee-va-bull.
Moron Miller caved to every union demand and this chaos is the result. Mayor Rob Ford doesn’t cave, which is why the Leftards want to get rid of him. Not being able to unseat him legitimately, they resort to dirty tricks and skulduggery. ‘This OK with you, LAS?
Hey, girl, just for fun, have a look at what a certain friend of ours posted on November 26, 2012, the day of the original conviction:
“It’s really a great victory for the rule of law.” (11:16 a.m.)
——
“he’s a shooting star who has now burned up in the atmosphere, his political usefulness spent.
Great line! I’ll give Ford some credit but he seems a lot like Christie. Cool until the novelty wears off.” (11:57 a.m.)
——
“Perhaps on appeal a judge will decide that an ELECTION is slightly more important than the infinitesimal details of a $3000.00 charity donation.
Yeah, what is the rule of law against The Mob?” (1:06 p.m.)
——
There are so many flip-flops that our friend could actually be a Liberal, which schtick I absolutely cannot stand.
Kyrie Eleison.
So the court room putsch failed. Does that make the perpetrators putzs
Kyrie eleison, indeed.
Given the topsy-turvy situation everywhere these days, my prescription? It’s prayer time! On your knees!
And I’m not kidding. … if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land … 2 Chronicles 7:14.
God knows, our land needs healing.
