I took a look at the first page of recommended books. The titles suggest that the reader will require an education level higher than Canadian high school to comprehend the contents.
If the people of Gaza are living in a ‘concentration camp’ where education is a luxury,who will read the books? I have a hard time believing that your average palestinian can read English or understand marxism,existentialism,or capitalism.
This is just another example of the meddling do-gooders not thinking things through.

May I suggest that if the little brainboxes can savour Sartre, they needn’t find the Jewish Law and Prophets too taxing, not the Christian Gospels. If they still want a Continental philosopher to read, they should start with John Calvin. They’ll learn a lot more about their situation that way.
They may just figure out, for example, just why they have to beg people living in Christian nations who don’t know any better to help them scare up readers. I admit that I am confused by this. These are books mostly for “intellectuals” and so far as I could determine, all written in English. Also, most are philosophical and or political in nature. Not all are supportive of what I consider rule by Islamic theocrates. So, why would they want them in Palistine?? My take is that they want to cause an international incident. Certainly there are many parallels in history. For example,the U.S. funded the Taliban when they fought the Soviets but certainly don’t any longer.
