  1. Mean time Alnerta’s UN surrogate Premier is silent. Probably hoping the project folds so her Agenda 21 sensitivities are consoled.
    Bee-at-ch

  2. Gotta watch out for them silent “Alnertans”. Snork! They cheer for the Stumpeeders and the Eskimoose.

  3. What a great Premier. He’s like Danny Williams, minus the belligerence.
But he’s got the same indifference to private property rights and economic xenophobia in his heart. Yours truly, Potash shareholder.
Really, could this post be more barf-tastic? He said some stuff. That’s nice. Now he’s going to continue growing Saskatchewan’s government particularly ‘renewable’ energy subsidies. But all you people care about are the words you’re so damn easy to lead down the garden path. That’s why libertarians are smarter.

  4. Nice someone is for this Nation. Redford the UN flunky of course is silent running.

  5. Let’s see, he buries co2 at the cost of billions. He brought in a carbon tax on big business. He builds more bird killers in Sask. He’s trying very hard to turn us into Ont. Given time this man will kill Sask.

  6. @OCCAM
    Im with you bro!!
Danielle smith has all the solutions.
Will you help out with the campaign again next election . I am going to go balls to the wall.

  7. a@c, agreed on the bird killers. I don’t think much of his ridiculous big law suit either, but he is better than the alternative. Can you imagine if the Marxists were still in control in Regina or an open supporter of Agenda 21?

  8. LAS, stop being a troll. Wall is right on this issue and it’s high time we defend our interests.
Personally, nothing could be funnier than when Obama thought he had Harper on the ropes with his refusal to build the Keystone pipeline. It’s been bandied about that Obama is either stupid or deliberately ruinous and I can see cases for both arguments. Whatever the case may be, Obama is just a disaster. If Wall convinces even one American voter that the oil sands are necessary and that Obama is bad for both the US and Canada, it would be worth it.

  9. A@C: Would you care to provide a source (newspaper, press release) saying the government came out with a carbon tax?

  10. Great speaker but loves to spend other people’s money especially on votes. Just dropped 80 million and leveraged another 150 million taxpayer dollars as a loan for a football stadium (semi-pro league) that will get paid back only in elections. He is far closer to socialism than libertarian. Why wouldn’t he say what he did I don’t see it as a big deal that is his Job. Still he is better than a lot of others but he is no Scott Walker.

  11. Is that you Hinman? Miss Smith could’nt even run a school board meeting, she has a long way to go, but with her supporting cast they could do a sequel to Deliverance. She has “some” ideas but a lot of out there ideas also. Brad Wall is quite sensible for the most part other than a billion bird blenders.

  12. So Chestermere-Rocky View MLA Bruce McAllister’s dumb enough to star in a sequel to “Deliverance”?
Bruce was smart enough to get out of the leftist swamp of broadcast journalism!
The PC’s Sandra Jansen vs. the WRP’s Bruce McAllister. I’d pay to see that.

  13. Bartinsky…..Danielle Smith is light years ahead of Redford. Light years. Redford is as dumb as a post……a female Joe Clark. A one term Premier.

  14. The PCs in Alberta are in panic mode right now as oil trends to 70.00. They are double screwed they have to raise taxes or cut union pay both options work against them.
Brad Wall like Harper is slowly undoing what the libtards have done it take time.

John wins today’s insufferable asshat award as hall monitor for the anal spell check cult.

  16. It would be interesting to read what Instapundit had to say about this…if only the link here actually linked to the specific Instapundit item and not just to the dynamic Instapundit page. Pity that whole linky thing is often so problematic at sda.

  17. I bought a membership for the Wildrose and got out to vote for them. Unfortunately, they are not quite ready for prime time. Perhaps a maturity thing.

  18. Osumina Kyobe: stop dodging my point.
Can you imagine if the Marxists were still in control in Regina or an open supporter of Agenda 21?
Garsh, if the NDP still controlled Saskatchewan, things would be…exactly the same.
Brad Wall and Stephen Harper: just another couple of statist conservatives.

  19. Brad Wall and Stephen Harper: just another couple of statist conservatives.
Every nation gets the ‘conservatives’ it deserves.

  20. “Wall spent much of his speech defending the Alberta oilsands”
Thank you Premier Wall for doing the job Redford refuses to do. I guess she’s too busy changing the character of Alberta.

  21. Nonsense LAS. You’re speaking out of your hat. You can see the exact point in time economically when Wall won the election.
That doesn’t happen unless there is a difference. It didn’t come about because of status quo.

  22. You can also see the exact point in time when the prices of Saskatchewan’s resources jumped. It’s the same time!
Name one major economic policy shift under Wall. Aside from violating the property rights of PotashCorp shareholders.

  23. benR at July 16, 2012 11:58 PM This was in the LP and we talked about it at the time on here.

  24. Wow, fantastic speech! He’s not perfect (NOBODY is), but damn, he would make a great Prime Minister.

  25. C02 sequestration thingy turns me off though, I’ve gotta say….
He would be nearly perfect if he’d get off that frickin bandwagon

  26. I don’t think so… I notice that quote’s no longer posted on the main page. One of Ku Klux Kate’s little gems about Indians set him off.

  27. You’re right. I was mistaken. Brad wall cut Ku Klux Kate loose for one of her gems about safe injection sites. He disassociated himself from the comment, calling it “unacceptable.” That prompted Ku Klux Kate’s response:
“So, Premier Wall – I ask that in the future you not trespass on my property.
You do not draw the lines here.
    You’re not my referee.
And I answer to no one.”
    Kate McMillan
    Big pals. I’m sure.

  28. LAS, if you’re going to screw up my name, could you do it in a cooler way, like Obi Won Kenobe or something?
My original point still stands, by the way.
Oh, Kitty, the things you say!
