Thanks for the reminder. I voted weeks ago by absentee ballot. It’s easy to forget the actual day since I’m in Canada.
I love the feeling that I get when voting even if it just involves a quick trip to the post office. I find that I often announce “I’m sending off my ballot!”
I find the results uninspiring to say the least.
Exhibit A is a washed up CEO who nearly ran HP into the ground, walked off with millions with no guilt at all, and still thinks she did a good job.
Exhibit B is a former CEO who was basically handed on a golden platter one of the most successful Internet ventures ever, yet she is made out to be some sort of visionary genius.
Politics continues its slow but steady decline…
I agree TJ, these two are certainly not representative of tea party grass roots republicanism. The GOP and Fox use the tag “tea party” to sanitize a lot of compromised skank candidates from the insiders keleptocracy.
What about Sharron Angle in Nevada? Honestly I don’t know much about her at all. The dinosaur media are already running with the narrative that her election in the GOP primary is going to play right into Harry Reid’s hands. The only thing that needs to play right into his hands is his contemptible voting record, especially his role in ramming through Obamacare. I think the bluster about her being his preferred opponent is just an early stage of the typical “fait accompli” technique in the left wing toolbox.
Correct; KevinS.
Interesting results. As prophesied the Republican Machine picks seem not to have done well, while the women backed by dumb dumb Caribou Barbie who as we all know is just a hairdo with glasses… did good.
Any speechifying to the effect that November is not going to be a -slaughter- of Democrats is pure whistling past the graveyard. Any Republican incumbents who think they are getting a free ride in primaries this year are likewise whistling.
