Besides, a Liberal MP is allowed to scam the system in order to get paid more for housing. A liberal will use the money for the greater good.
Those dozens of alleged conservatives are probably using the funds to drown kittens and pay for big oil propaganda.

Does Ms Sgro own a another residence elsewhere? And did she in 2006? Because if she did, then when she passed the condo over to the kids, she had a capital disposition which had to be reported on her tax return. And if the kids are not using the condo as their principal residence, then they had better be declaring the rent as income.

Why focus on Iggy?
Many Liberals were onboard with this idea from the outset and voluntarily posted their expenses.
Eventually, the Liberals supported this while Harper and the NDP opposed public review of their expenses.
Now that Iggy has shamed the Conservatives into doing the right thing and showing us how they are spending our money, we find out that the Conservative MPs are spending way way way more of our tax money than the other parties on publications, on travel, on office expenses, on everything.
No wonder Harper has put a gag order on all his MPs about talking about their expenses. Wonder what the Conservatives have to hide? And don’t we end up having to ask that question an awful lot with this “government”.
Sweet deal,and when she leaves office the kids can transfer the condo back to her,and no one will be the wiser.We pay her salary and her mortgage,and of course a juicy pension. Her excuse about not being aware that it may be wrong reminds me of George Kastanza claiming that if only someone had told him that boffing the cleaning lady on his desk was against the rules,he would have never done it.

I just checked CBC’s website and they have exactly zero stories on this matter.Then again,it did take them 4 or 5 days to notice that Ruby was less than loving with her staff.
I hope someone at CRA reads this article and audits her and everyone related to her.

What would be funny as hell is:
She is forced to payback the difference between the owners maximum and what she got as a renter (>$11k)
While her kids had to pay tax on the amount of “rent” she paid them. Changes to this amount can’t be back dated, unless of course they all want to admit they where committing tax fraud and fraud on her expenses.
So mommy will be out the difference (11K) and while the kids get taxed on the whole pre-adjusted amount.
It’s legal because she did it in Ottawa. Anywhere else would have been a no-no.
Are Judy’s kids are strippers or just tax frauds? Because stripping is a LEGAL way of earning an income. Just askin’.
