Update/Correction: Visa Policy For Israeli Nuclear Scientists Did Not Begin With Obama Admin

NRG/Maariv (Hebrew link only, sorry) reported today that the Israeli government was stunned when every nuclear technician at Israel’s Dimona reactor who had submitted visa requests to visit the United States for ongoing university education in Physics, Chemistry and Nuclear Engineering had their visa applications summarily rejected, specifically because of their association with the Dimona reactor.
This is a new policy decision of the Obama administration. Up until now, it was routine for Israeli nuclear scientists and technicians to receive such visas and to study at US universities.
Israeli security officials have confirmed that these technicians are being denied visas solely because of their employment at the Dimona reactor.
Not only are employees at Dimonas taboo, but reportedly the US has an unofficial embargo on selling anything to be used at the site.
Recent polling suggests that 30% of Americans stubbornly continue to believe Obama is a muslim. I know, it’s a head scratcher.

I’m not sure if Obama is, himself, a Muslim. Nor is he a Christian. Nor is he a socialist.
I’m saying this only because I consider that Obama is ideologically, nothing…for the sake of the ideology. Everything, be it a belief or a behaviour is, to Obama, valuable only if it enables Him to be in control of You.
I suspect that Islam is closer to Obama’s emotions than Christianity, since he was being steeped in that ideology about the time when I suspect he moved into his pathological narcissism. That is, as a young boy. Obama can’t bring himself to reject Islam and hasn’t the intellect to understand what has created Islamic fascism and jihadism.
Obama is also embedded within the socialist gang because socialism sets up an authoritarian govt that rules over a passive powerless population. He likes that structure.
Now, if Obama is, by this refusal of visas for Dimona scientists, stating that any and all nuclear weapon agendas are unacceptable, then, why has he essentially enabled Iran to develop such? And is Obama denying visas to those in India, Pakistan, Russia, UK, France etc – all of whom have such weapons?
Obama is setting up a ‘moral purity club’ where, IF you have such weapons, you are amoral and IF you do not have them, or, as he is, pledging to get rid of them, then you are ‘morally pure’.
Obama lives almost completely in a virtual reality, a fictional realm of his own authorship, where he is a messiah-figure, bringing peace, love and etc..to the world. Putting such a demented mind into a powerful political position is dangerous.
No big deal. The way things are going with ‘bama and the islamocrowd, in a just few years the Israelis will be able to take a quick hop to Iran if they want to study American nuclear echnology.

It’s a combination of all of the above. Obama isn’t stupid, he’s naive, inexperienced in the real world, ideologically opposed to the American way of life and politics, and carries “guilt” for the perceived wrongdoings of the U.S.
In other words, he’s a mess.Now, which Iranian students will he ban from the U.S.?

With the severe downturn in relations between Obama and Netenyahou and with no headway on Iran’s nuclear program I expect it won’t be long before Israel takes matters into its own hands and launches an all-out attack. Its inevitable.
America and Israel are the two countries on the planet I want to see bristling with nuclear weapons. But Obama turns on our allies and works to weaken the United States in relation to its enemies.
I don’t think he’s a Muslim, I only think he’s just about half-way to being a commie.

There is a basic problem with attributing these actions to OBOZO solely. While technically the “buck stops” in the Oval Office…..not even POTUS wields such absolute authority….a reality which no doubt causes OBOZO much distress.
These matters were the products of committee….the question is what committee.
Totalitarian regimes are never absolute monarchies…..they are oligarchies…a clique of powerful people. Is OBOZO a leader or a puppet….I suspect a puppet.

I believe that although Oblamebush is not a Muslim his formative years were spent in the Madras and the Mosque and certainly have influenced his judgment.
Israel’s policy of nuclear ambiguity [there’s even a bureaucrat in charge of it] has lasted so long because admitting to having weapons would embarass the US, which would be OFFICIALLY breaking it own laws.
Obama seems to be attempting some rationalization of American policy. The claim by Clinton to want to prevent nuclear weapons in the Middle East gets a horselaugh each time she makes it.
It won’t work. The only valid response to the tangles Israel/US relationship is comedy.

I suspect ET’s assessment of Obama is correct. I do not think he has the depth to understand any specific ideology, be it Muslim, Christian, Communist or whatever. He solely belongs to the “Obama Club” and any ideology or technic which will ensure him power to control the unwashed and to glorify himself will be used, while never really understanding the ideology or technic in question. I always said even prior to his election that he would spell the death of the USA, and sadly I see I was correct. How though I wish it were not so!

The USA does not support Israel out of some humanitarian ideal. Support is based on a need to counterweight Iranian influence in the area. It is a counter against potential Russian influence on a global scale. If the USA begins to question whether Israel will become to risky in that role then I would not be surprised to see them adopt Turkey as their new surrogate.
Geo-political(economic) imperatives are what make the world go around. People should take comfort in that as some predictability usually ensues.
Maybe we should just send Israel more condoms.
