  1. In the words of Bernard Goldberg (former CBS News correspondent and author of a book of the same name, “A Slobbering Love Affair”! … and they wonder why people have stopped buying their papers?!

  2. Go to the website and scroll down “Don’t lecture us” Kenyan PM tells US.Hillary Clinton fought to defuse a growing row between the US and Kenya during the first day of her Africa tour. Seems like the love affair with The One is coming to an END.

  3. The fall of this megalomaniac is going to be huge and it’s going to greatly embarrass and anger his hordes of worshipers in the US and around the world.
It has already begun and I just bought a new wide screen high density television with which to enjoy it.
In the same tone as Ryan Seacrest on American IdolTHIS ….. WAS Barack Obama ….. !!!!!
I guess I have developed ObamaChimpHitler derangement syndrome. It’s similar to the swine flu only the swine are real and they are in Chicago and Washington.
There … now I will have nice day.

  4. Obby’s not just a nation. More like something between a nation and an entire freaking continent! The media has had a full frontal obotomy.

  5. He probably gets more hits than the page 3 girls over there. After all, he is royalty.

  6. Come on people it is a place hoilder for Obama’s political demise.
Lets see if we can get that approval rating uder 50% heading into the Fall Sessions on the Hill. When legislators return after the break we may see a “renewed” interest in representing the will of the voters from many of them and a low rating will allow the worms to grow a backbone and start to do their jobs without fear of party retaliation from the leadership.
Watch for a blame shifting CYA posture emerge fromt he Administration in the fall, Pelosi may get thrown under the bus. Only one less popular than he will be soon.

  7. Probably off topic, but clicking the link DID contain a story about Bubba’s heroic rescue. Read on Drudge that it was financed by a Hollywood mogul? That it has movie all over it.
Re: Bubba, I’ve been wondering: Does the two term limit apply only to two consecutive terms, or in toto?

  8. The big-eared Lizard and his School Girl (Sec of State) are missing “World” respect that the MSM can’t control….The teleprompter syndrome
It takes a pervert, called BILL, to go to North Korea and swap Cigar stories in exchange for Gore’s folly…
A sick State of affairs indeed, hilarious unless you are an American

  9. The Red Star had a picture of Bubba and AGW with two girls, all clapping on stage. This was a photo op, yawn…

  10. FTA: (Sam) the koala made famous by footage of her drinking from a firefighter’s water bottle during the Australian bush fires earlier this year has died.
Well , dayyam, survived one hell of a fire to die from internal cysts.
Don’t beat me Kate, I strayed off topic a lil.

  11. This whole business has a phony air to it. The capture and release of these “spies” who have high level connections in the US “politico-entertainment industry” seems to follow a bizarre script like something written by glorious leader.
Given the unrivaled expertise of North Korean “interrogation” experts, if these ladies have nothing in the way of complaints or evidence about their treatment, it just doesn’t pass the smell test.

  12. me no dhimmi @ 11:30, I saw that one, too. I had some naughty thoughts, such as what does Bill expect from those women in return?? Did he take blue dresses with him?
Or, did he deliver a conciliatory message from The One?
Or, was this scheme hatched up by Shillary who is still pissed off that she didn’t get to be President and wants to poke The One in the eye?
I also noticed the flight was arranged by Algoracle, who contradicts the pres: “Contradicting the White House, which had said that Mr Clinton’s trip to Pyongyang was a “private mission”, Mr Gore said: ‘President [Barack] Obama and countless members of his administration have been deeply involved.'”
And I wonder what Al will do to atone for all that jet fuel burned during the escapade.
I also noticed a lot of typos in the article. Such is the state of modern journalism.
    Happy for the women, though.

  13. re. Stephen @10:45 – The British Right tend to be anti-“neo-con”; broadly, they think Bush was a frightful coyboy type, while Obama has tone etc.
I think Blair got them all confused. They hated him for all the right reasons – being a corrupt weaselly little semi-fascist – but they also disliked him for the only thing I respect him for, i.e. supporting the War on Terror. It’s all something to do with envy and the collapse of Empire. Being “conservative” or “right-wing” or whatever in Britain tends to go along with being anti-American (and therefore, and I hate to say it, pro-Obama).
So anyway, I’m not surprised that the Torygraph has a thing for President McDreamy.

  14. “No Canada? Darn”
Well, you guys would have overwhelmingly elected Obama anyway, so the section for the “Americas” is now covered at the Obama desk. So, if Obama visits or mentions Canada, that story will make it.

  15. Unreal and unhinged.
Confirmed the Brits have gone all soggy in the head.
Use to be a really great country.
    Pity, really.

  16. Well, some bloke in the U.S. MSM recently described Obama as being “sort of like God.” So, quite frankly, what’s up with The One getting second billing to the U.S.??!!

  17. Tim in Vermont
“Well, you guys would have overwhelmingly elected Obama anyway”
Sadly yes 6 months ago. Give it another 6 months then we’ll see. We’ll be looking in horror over the wreckage being wrought.

  18. We’ll be looking in horror over the wreckage being wrought.
No, you won’t, he’ll print enough cash for everyone.
Voters have attention span of a snail. A bit of cash offered from time to time heals any wounds of electorate.
North American voters will piss away everything for cash regardless of how much it is devalued.

  19. Colin…you’ve been there for awhile…are you fighting fires?
SRY Kate..OT…but we are sort of family on here.

Just up here for the week visiting my folks. I’m in Lake Country (north of Kelowan) where my folks live, and have a striking view of the major fire right across the lake (my folks live on the lakefront). At night, last night especially, it’s quite a sight to see. I’ll see if I can get some photos tonight, and post them up on my Shaw photoshare site.

  21. Regarding the question earlier about US presidential term limits, the limit is two terms total regardless of whether or not they are consecutive. So, no more President Bill Clinton. Do you really think that he would have supported Hillary’s campaign if he could have run himself?

  22. (offence alert)
Why stop at “a country”, isn’t the messiah the whole “craker” and then some?

  23. Lots of bloggers have set up special categories for Obama….
Just to keep a record open of all the things that are said about him.
    So?
I wouln’t be inclined myself to read too much into the Telegraph heading.
And as for you Tim … it wasn’t “US” who were cheerleading for Obama … it was the leftards in the media and certain urban regions that are over populated by the self proclaimed “Hip”.
Kinda like in YOUR neighbourhood…. eh? 🙂

  24. “He doth bestride the narrow world like a colossus”
tee hee, you are thinking about a month ago, here is a poet’s view of a month from now:

I met a traveller from an antique land
    Who said:
“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand
in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies,
    whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
    `
My name is Obamadeus, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!’
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away”.

  25. well.
we can all put our bibles away.
we now know who the anti-christ is.
    LOL !!!

  26. tim in vermont – Ozymandias is one of my fave poems – but Obamadeus – oh man, that is just so funny in so many different ways! I’m still laughing!! Excellent!!!
