Good news: Ryerson University is asking its faculty about their experiences with racism.
Better news: Anybody can answer the survey.
*Speaking, of course, as a 60 plus year old trans-gendered “two spirited” Japanese Jew.

an elderly faculty member – chinese – sikh – two spirited (bi curious?) and feeling terribly discriminated against – ryerson is a horrible university one which clearly needs immediate anti racist intervention….

junior is a young student- other racialised minority – eastern orthodox – transgendered and clearly scizophrenic…. i blame the implacable hatred embedded in every aspect of this terrible insitution – send everyone (except me) off to the re-education camp….

I answered two spirited because I thought it meant that when told to go F**ck myself, I was able to.
In a local paper, one university student was lamenting that she was the victim of “polite racism”. The reporter failed to ask what the ((^*&^* was she talking about?

Wow, that was fun. You think they would have some sort of security in place. But hey, anyplace that hires Windy Wendy Cukier as both a lecturer in systems management AND social justice issues obviously cannot manage anything.
I had fun gaming that faculty survey. Woot, I was a 60+ Aboriginal Sikh Two Spirit who experienced harsh racism from EVERYONE. That survey won’t be worth a damn once people get finished gaming it.
But how exactly does being ‘Two Spirit’ affect your sex life? I mean, the option was in the category ‘Sexual Orientation’, so could someone please enlighten me?

Under religion I went for ‘other’. As Islam states, Democracy is a religion.

And, as someone whose done that sort of thing, that survey is crap. You would think that a liberal arts college could find someone with an inkling of competance that could write a decent survey.
