Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Canadian definition of ‘fair and balanced’ news reporting, eh?
The thing is that their reporting has become so biased that they have driven their once loyal audience into the blogosphere for the REAL news.
And I would like to thank the hell of them for performing that public service.
I mean 10,388,930 of us can’t be wrong, eh Kate?
Heh.

Just confirms my suspicions:
“Let Mikey do it”
He’s funny, that Warren. So easy to figure out.
I made the same comments about the irony of Kinsella’s statements on his blog yesterday, but he has refused to post them. Not surprising, really. The guy is a huge cry baby with an ego the size of Ontario. He finds it very hard to realize that his political ‘wisdom’ is something that no one cares about anymore, and I would frankly argue, no one except partisan Liberals ever cared about.
Here’s what I know:
• the head of CTV, Ivan Fecan, headed a major fundraiser for Jean Chrétien
• one of his senior Vice Presidents, Paul Sparkes, was Chrétien’s Director of Operations
• the network’s pollster, Peter Donolo, was Chrétien’s Director of Communications
• Craig Oliver was one of the closest people to Pierre Trudeau, and used to go on annual canoe trips with him
• Jane Taber used to be regularly mocked by Frank magazine for being a Liberal shill
• Roger Smith’s wife was a senior aide to Trudeau
• Jim Munson, a Liberal Senator, became a Chrétien aide after leaving a senior spot at CTV
• Mike Duffy is a creampuff, and has loyal friends in every party
• Seamus O’Regan hangs out with Justin Trudeau and Dalton McGuinty’s former Principal Secretary
• Rosemary Thompson is a sweetheart, and used to date Liberals at Carleton (the shame!)
• Bob Fife would take down anyone, if they deserved it, regardless of party affiliation
And so on, and so on. Get the picture?
Interesting. I think there’s more going on than meets the eye, that some sort of strategy is going on here. If CTV is in the tank for the Liberals, if they’re one of the Liberals’ weapons, it doesn’t make sense that he would call them on that; why would he wish to publicly damage CTV’s credibility as an unbiased news source, when they’ve been helping the Liberals? It’s not as if his blog is a private LPC mailout.
The most likely explanation is that the K, looking to make his move and throw in his chips behind a particular Liberal leadership candidate, is aware that the inner coterie at CTV is behind some other candidate, not K’s, and that he’s trying to apply pressure — strategic low-level blackmail of a sort — as a preemptive tactic to put CTV on notice that they’ll be called on their (future) favourable coverage of that other candidate.
Observing a study in contrasts while channel hopping-
Here’s a game show celebrating Teachers Week on one network; hop over to CTV and you get what appears to be Wake Week on MDL.
Shush Warren!!
It’s too much fun watching the left tie themselves into knots explaining how CTV means Conservative TV.
It really makes the billboards around Halifax take on a different light. What with the huge picture of Steve Murphy with the caption, “Steve, Halifax is watching”
Probably not how CTV envisioned the whole ad campaign…..LOL
Warnout Kinsella will have his dirty hands full defending Dulton’s brand of Ontario lying Liberal.
Dulton is about to break ANOTHER promise.
Remember no tax increases ?
Remember no deficit budgets.
Another lying Liberal to be greased and put through the denial and subversion of truth mill.
And old Warnout is just the boy to grease that pig. He likes pigs and he likes grease.
He just doesn’t like truth and political honesty.
He still defends Cruton’s legacy !! Cruton, the worst PM this country has ever had. the most corrupt regime ever, the dumb ass who signed us up to Kyoto, the dufus who slept through the Referendum crisis.
Maybe things are so bad at Daisy he needs to get his snout back into the public purse.
Once a Liberal skank operative, always a Liberal skank operative.
The liberals are still in a smoldering civil war, any dirt we see from the MSM about them likely has more to do with than than any journalistic integrity.
Adscam didn’t see the light of day until the liberals starting fighting each other.
Chretien kneecapped the the party with his financing reform, it could do nothing but hurt the party, so I wouldn’t put anything past them.
I wonder if the Dion interview fiasco was because once they saw he was not going to get a liberal minority they wanted him to lose big so he’d get the punt.
Power Corp tentacles are spreading out … LPOC .. Rae .. McKenna .. Warren .. Dion too? Desperation bedfellows.
And nobody seems to think it’s odd that a lifelong “broadcast journalist” like munson is give a senate seat by the liberals, the reward for service usually awarded to lifelong bagmen. What did he do to earn this reward? Was he just so darn good? Hardly.
Even funnier; lib super strategist kinsella is dumb enough to identify all these pathetic links, thus providing evidence of bias. Too bad we talked about it, he probably would blabbed some more.
I briefly watched the CTV election night coverage , until Craig Oliver started spouting his worse than normal anti-conservative vitriol … I mean he was really really bitter and it showed.
Perhaps he also was angling for a Senate position and that definitely vanished October 14.
Poor Warren, he’s not looking too happy these days. He’s having a hard time trying to defend the Libranos. He’s still in mourning for the days of his hero, Jean Chretien.
In fact, seeing Warren on TV lately, he appears to be growing his graying mane, in fact it looks like the name of his band, “Shit from Hell”. Being a Liberal these days will do that to a fella.
We won’t get too excited about Warren, he’s probably going through his toy box for an appropriate stuffed animal for his next victim.
Could we suggest Homer Simpson for a shot at Dion? Apologies to Marge’s”Homey”!
I particularly liked the anecdote about Craig “ginger” Oliver sneaking off to spend quiet canoing get-aways with Trudeaupian’s beloved leader.
We know CTV must see some commercial value in capturing the senile Trudeaupian audience by keeping this PET cult fossil on the air.
Fortunately an “nonconforming” earth station allows me the cultural freedom escape the obsequious national identity obsessing propagated by Canada’s network and cable TV.
Further, as a real Canadian with 6 generations of roots in this country I don’t need CTV or Craig Oliver or Kinsella to tell me what being a Canadian is all about or to validate my legitimacy as a Canadian by conforming to their narrow optics….these mutts confuse partisan politics with national identity and this vacuous orthodoxy is why Canadian culture has come to mirror Bizzaro world culture.
Sounds like Warren the water closet nazi hunter has thoroughly scrutinized the CTV heads.

S’cuse the double post, not sure what happened there.
With Warren listing the CTV links to the Libs, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find out who called Mikey to set up the Dion-do-over interview from Halifax. CTV would not have aired that without the approval, with a pat on the back, from somebody who had an agenda, and it sure wasn’t the CPC camp.
Slime buckets all.
Hollywood for ugly people.
Aren’t Liberals such a warm and fuzzy bunch!!
