The Second Coming

Is there nothing that Obama can’t do?

“I cried all night. I’m going to be crying for the next four years,” he said. “What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history. …The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance.”

  1. What if one change he plans on making is no more garbage from Ontario allowed into the USA.
It has been many of his supporters that have cajoled other to vote for him or be called racist.
In the last 24 hours I have heard more negatives about his positions or lack of them, than in the past year. The media just might start examining him with the same fine tooth comb they did with Hillory.
37% of her voters will not vote for the messiah, according to a cnn poll. Also, he is only leading McCain by 3% and Wolf and other are asking, why so close. It will be a close election, and considering most young voters don’t show up, a lot of his supporters will not vote.

  2. What would be so extraordinary? Barack loses the election for president? OTOH, he will cause the oceans to recede and the planet to heal, right?
Democrats need to wake up. The nomination race with Hillary only involved Democrats, about half the voters; and they split nearly down the middle. Obama will surely deliver the so-called “black vote” which means nothing, given 80% already voted Democrat in previous elections.
This messianic streak coming out of the Obama and Gore crowd is quite disturbing. The Republican media machine (unlike the lefty version here in Canada, now neutered by Dionsky’s incompetence), will unleash a torrent of voting records, gaffes and questionable associations on the voting public, to create real doubt about Obama’s credentials to be POTUS. It likely will be quite unfair, but so what? The left never ceases to tell Americans they are a bunch of racists who are becoming economic also rans. Does anyone recall the free debate of the 80’s, where, again, US was portrayed as declining economic empire. It wasn’t true then, and it isn’t true now.
Most people understand the US acts like a superpower (kind of like old USSR), invading countries overtly, refusing to learn from their mistakes, with interests rather than friends, being vulgar and so on. Then again, they still want their Levis jeans, fast foods and foreign aid.
I guess after the next presidential election, the former map of “Jesusland” will be replaced with a blue and red “Racistland” excuse for losing.
If Democrats keep bringing in inexperienced, left-leaning candidates, they should blame themselves for losing, rather than racists or religious extremists. It is the Democrat party that has become extremist, within the US context. That is why they lost last time and will likely lose this time.

  3. “another chapter” all right. Better put these people on suicide watch until reality bumps them in the head. Which it will.

  4. And who is aiding and abeting the bias ? The controversy ?
The power of the (dimishing) pen.
    From the Rasmussen Report poll;
[Looking ahead to the fall campaign, 44% believe most reporters will try to help Obama while only 13% believe that most will try to help McCain. Twenty-four percent (24%) are optimistic enough to believe that most reporters will try to offer unbiased coverage.
Even Democrats tend to believe their candidate will receive better treatment—27% of those in Obama’s party believe most reporters will try to help him win while only 16% believe they will help McCain. A plurality of Democrats—34%–believe most reporters will be unbiased.
Among unaffiliated voters, 44% believe reporters will try to help Obama and 14% believe they will try to help McCain. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans expect Obama to receive preferential treatment while only 8% believe reporters will try to help McCain.] RR
And the media is the first to cry ‘racist’ if anyone dare question BO’s gaffes, of which there are plenty.

  5. “This is Bo Snerdley, the EIB Official Barack Criticizer, certified black enough to criticize — and I have a message. Senator Obama in your victory speech last night you declared that this was America’s moment that somehow now, if we are willing to work for it — fight for it, believe in it — we’re all going to look back someday and realize, this was the moment that we began to care for the sick, to have jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans would begin to slow and our planet would begin to heal. This was the moment we came together to remake this great nation. That’s what you said. Excuse me, sir. What country have you been living in? Americans have been working hard since there was America! It’s that work that made this the world’s lone superpower, that work that built a nation that is the envy of the world. And what is this business about the oceans begin to slow? What does that mean? In fact, what do you mean? This is insulting, sir! America is great; it was great before you stepped on the scene. The thing that frightens us, sir, is that you are hell-bent on destroying what is great in the name of liberalism.”

  6. ET – I agree with you completely. The fascinating thing about Obama is he started the nomination battle as just another lefty focusing on how he was one of the few against the Iraq war from the start. By the end he was become the BLACK messiah as Kate so satirically points out. I think a big part of the shift happened with Oprah’s support which is kind of funny as she has to be the culturally “whitest” black women in America.

  7. Lone Ranger,
Never you fear. Obama will not tolerate any deaf, blind, handicapped anybodies. He will eliminate them through his ‘rubric of human value’. I think you can probably include poor and black in that category as well, since he is America’s primary political supporter of black deaths through abortion.
Martin Luther King would not be a ‘shoe-in’ to support Obama, by the way. His niece, Dr. Alveda King has spoken up strongly against Obama’s ‘culture of death’.

  9. This is unbelievable.
One of the ‘community’ groups that supports Obama on Obama’s own website. Also, notice the date since it’s been up.
    “Greetings Fellow Obama Supporters!”

Welcome to Jemaah Islamiyah! My name is Fatima, and I’m thrilled to be supporting Barack Obama for President. For now, we have a man of integrity, who will fight for the rights of Muslims everywhere. Allah has blessed us with a man who will stand up to the neoconservatives and the racist zionists. I believe with all my heart that Barack Obama will stop the American occupation of Iraq. No longer will American soldiers be able to kill our women and children with impunity.
Mr. Obama will also talk to Iran’s leader Mahmoud Amadinejad, whom the current chimp in the White House has treated so badly. I mean why should American and Israel be able to have nukes but not Iran? That is very unfair. Obama will right that wrong.
Furthermore, Senator Obama will take a much more rational approach in the Middle East. No longer will that zionist entity, whose name I hate to even write be able to oppress our Palestinian brothers and sisters with impunity. If anyone can stop the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands, I know it is Barack Obama!

  10. We’re already familiar with the tactic of calling anybody who disagrees with Obama a racist, which is patently ridiculous to anybody actually familiar with Obama’s record, what there is of it. I object to Obama because voting record as a senator, what there is of it. I object to the content of his speeches. I absolutely object to the contrived ridiculous reactions of most of his followers. I completely reject those followers projecting their own racism, onto me. So infantile and obvious it makes me puke. How soon these numbnuts forget Shirley Chisholm and the 152 ballot votes she picked up in the 1972 Democratic National Convention. To even suggest Obama is some kind of first is just plain ignorant. Give me a Clarence Thomas and I could vote for him any day. So take your charges of racism and stuff them where the sun don’t shine.

  11. Quote: Suggested boffo campaign speech finales for Obama:
    1. Feed entire crowd with five organic whole-grain loaves and two non-endangered fishes.
    2. Raise Howard Dean from the dead.
    3. Turn Perrier sparkling mineral water into non-alcoholic wine.
    4. Close with “Sermon from Mount Rushmore.”
    5. Quote from Obama 3:16:
“For the Democratic Party so loved the world that it delivered its Very Clean and Articulate Son of Hope and Change, and that whoever campaigns for Him shall not perish but have a provisional half-vote.”

LOL thanks for the chuckle, his supporters are becoming unhinged and frightening but they do amuse me so.

  12. The Democrats have gone barking mad. An effect I believe of the after effects of BDS (Bush Derangement syndrome). They now think the true Messiah of socialism has arisen. The one who will make it work with out death camps & bulldozers. Alas for Hill-Dog , but there is always 2012.
As for Obama he’s an avatar of the peanut Farmer’s brigade
    Just my opinion

  13. The first thing on Obamba’s agenda will be to throw open the borders as wide as possible and give amnesty to the millions of illegal’s already in the US. Second will be to befriend Iran and withdraw troops from Iraq, bring them home, and then reduce the size of the military. Then they will go after the farms similar to Zimbabwe (most likely economically), as a redistribution of wealth to feed the millions of illegal’s they will import along with an impossibly expensive universal health care for them. There will defiantly be “Hope & Change” in Obamba’s America it’s just too bad all those who vouch for Obamba can’t see who that Hope & Change is really for.

  14. “I cried all night. I’m going to be crying for the next four years”
I’m afraid if he is elected pres. we will ALL be crying for the next 4 years.
    Horny Toad

  15. I wonder if Bill and Hill will make the 12 and 13 people at the head table of his campaign kickoff dinner. he can pass the sop to either one.

  16. To: JimN You have a wild imagination!! Obama will get elected!! Why is that so hard to accept?? I’m Canajun, and it seems we have enough on our hands with Mlle. Couillard without having to worry about Obama. If we “Conservatives” don’t wake up, Julie may be the “femme fatale” of the Harper Conservatives.
