Another Suzuki Foundation poll for your consideration.
Apropos of nothing, “I just don’t have time” is currently trailing.

Now remember – cheating is for climate modellers!

Friday Morning Update: Another poll goes horribly wrong…

You know, Beaker just isn’t getting the picture here. This is really way to easy….
You know the weird part? I noticed this poll a few days ago, and didn’t mention it.
Note how few people have actually voted. If climate change is such a hot topic on the streets, why doesn’t his foundation website generate more visits?
I recycle, and really hate the excess packaging you get to avoid shoplifting. I have replaced my old windows and put in a high-efficiency furnace. But I beg that global warming comes, as I am tired of the snow and cold. If it means Florida sinks under, well I always figured that’s where it belonged in the first place.
Yes I do what I can, but I’ll state that garden gnome Suzuki doesn’t speak for me.
Tried to edit our ‘one and only’ David on wikipedia.org

This is what I got,
“Due to persistent vandalism originating from your proxy server or network, editing by anonymous users from your shared IP address or address range is currently disabled.”
What ?? Have never so much as broke a window.
Anyone else treated like this ??
Just thought I would add information like
Diesel spewing bus.
Believes in clear hoaxes & lies such as Mann’s hockey stick graph and Gores fictional movie.
Will not debate Patrick Moore or Tim Ball.
Wants us all to live in caves heated with wood while he lives in luxury.
Says Cuban farmers are better at feeding the world than Canadian farmers are.
Claims he is a climate expert when in fact he was a fruit fly breeder.
Maurice Strong sits on his board.
…speaking of debates , intelligence squared had one last night .

Long , but some good one liners .
wikipedia is very pro Kyoto/GhG scare mongering etc . . . no surprise they would make it difficult for anyone to tell the truth about Dr. Fruit Fly.

If you’re suggesting a good old tire bonfire/weenie roast , I’m in … as long as there’s beer …. lots and lots of beer .
I wonder if this poll will eventually disappear like the last one did?
YES: I am doing as much as I can 425 (44.97%)
SORT OF: I am doing a couple of things 334 (35.34%)
NOT REALLY: I don’t know what to do 34 (3.60%)
NO: I just don’t have time 152 (16.08%)
BTW, I know who voter #152 was…
Question for Doctor Suzuki
Do you advocate reducing speed limits? Or strictly enforcing the existing limits?
Put a poll up Doctor, please… how many will drive slower tomorrow to save the polar bears?
Actually, the first answer and the fourth are the same from my point of view.

Have a great day !! 🙂
Just broke 20% in 2 hours; and, BTW, Sh*ttyPulse 24 is having a phone-in show on global warming (and not “climate change”).
Are you making sustainable choices in your daily life?
YES: I am doing as much as I can 434 (42.63%)
SORT OF: I am doing a couple of things 343 (33.69%)
NOT REALLY: I don’t know what to do 34 (3.34%)
NO: I just don’t have time 207 (20.33%)
B. Hoax ,
You were making sense ’till the bar reference . No wonder there’s so many damned socialists , they don’t read the fine print …. or factor in the taxes …..
Who designed that poll? The questions are a mess.
Q1, Yes, I am doing as much as I can, is equivalent, as someone pointed out, to ‘No I don’t have time’. AND it’s also equivalent to ‘Sort of, I am doing a couple of things’.
After all, ‘as much as I can’ could mean ‘a couple of things’. And ‘as much as I can’ could also mean that ‘I don’t have time’.
In addition, the poll doesn’t give you the opportunity to reject the whole premise.
By the way, I love the whinging, schoolmarmish tone of this and the last poll he put up: how can you tell Beaker’s a CBC guy?
And is Suzuki really still on TV? Hasn’t the Corpse changed anything in the past twenty years?
I am making sustainable choices:
1. I am earning a living and setting a little bit aside so that I can sustain my lifestyle.
2. I just completed and returned my Fire Arm PAL so that I can sustain my gun ownership and kill critters for sport.
3. I bought a fast car, so that I can sustain speeds of 120 km/hr without overworking my motor.
4. I oppose the global warming fascists, so that I can help the West its economy.
5. And, I bought some great cigars lately, so that I can sustain the habit of sitting in my back yard, smoking a fine Dominican, and enjoying the Sask summer. And, I refuse to put a Carbon Filter on a good La Aurora Petit Belicoso.
question for any Kyoto/IPCC fanatics.
Where has the hockey stick gone ??
Fred ,
” Where has the hockey stick gone ?? ”
Don’t sweat it man , they’re trying to make a new one …. out of carbon fibre , the curve is twice as wicked …. so I’m told .
“Note how few people have actually voted.”
I didn’t vote because I didn’t like the choice of answers. What about “No — I just don’t think GW is a problem.”
Fergy wrote:
“I recycle, and really hate the excess packaging you get to avoid shoplifting.”
I feel the same way about excessive packaging — not because I give a tinker’s curse about global warming, though.
I just love shoplifting.
The answers kind of suck … as others have said, 1, 2 and 4 really are the same …
I’m doing as much as I can … Sort of, I’m doing a couple of things, and No I don’t have the time all mean the same … Example: I have curly light bulbs, because I have to buy them anyway and they sit right next to the other kind on the shelf at Walmart … ergo, no time that otherwise wouldn’t have been spent, a bit more money up front, but they claim to pay for themselves over time, means that they also meets the first two criteria. Equally my fuel efficient vehicle (Honda) meets all three categories with no real effort on my part since emission standards were not part of my purchasing decision … Am I going to install new windows and a new furnace, not a chance, I can’t afford that … again meets all three criteria in so far as I would need a 2nd job to pay for those unnecessary home renos. So in the end, I’m doing what I can, which realistically is only a couple of things, and I don’t have time to do more …
Well Kate…another ‘hijacked poll’.Approximately 300 votes since you posted…most of them answered the same way.
On a more serious note re: his site…he accepts $$$ from kids while he makes them feel guilty? Sad!
EEEUUUWWW UKIE PUKIE SUZUKI this guy is a wacko
The nos are up to 29% in just a couple of hours. Beaker’s site only gets hits when he gives his critics an excuse to cause him some grief.
AND… don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Suzuki will be appearing with Al Gore in Montreal on March 22, according to his web site. That’s a hint for those of you who may happen to be in Montreal around that date for other reasons.
This little fruit fly fellow is like the energizer bunny of bullshit. How long must the earth endure his overheated spewwing of bullshit! Sorry I swore but when my children come home from school telling me of our numbered days as I fight to keep calves that are worth diddly squat alive because of BSE in this 20 below weather here in southern Alberta with 2 feet of snow here at 4500 feet I get real ticked.
12.12 a.m. Alberta time. yes 466, no 427, we are getting there.
The grade 9 came home the other day and mentioned she had been forced to sit through a screening of Gork’s prop-agit flick.
She facetiously accused me of being “one of those bad oil guys” and mused “how a guy who is such a dork ever became VP of a very powerful country.”
Kids don’t like to be preached at anymore than adults.
Since Kates first screen shot of the poll, only 55 votes have come in for the YES, and 362 votes for the NO. Where are all the kyotologists.
I read on his page that he and gore will have a chat in Montreal, at some crowd of 5000 people.
Hope someone goes to see how many actually turn out.
I do my share by recycling everything into the garbage dump. 300 years from now, if anyone needs a few pop cans or old diapers, you know where to dig.
It’s all out of pure spite now. I hate green weenies. 🙂

Save the planet and make a profit? This does not compute.

I, ahem, work at the CBC and have had the displeasure of bumping into Suzuki. Wish I had the nerve to give him a piece of my mind. BTW, as I use computers at the CBC, how easy would it be for someone like me to edit Suzuki’s Wiki entry? 🙂
I suspect it won’t help – they’ve probably restricted access to authorized ip’s.
It’s going wroongg 🙂 Remember masses, only vote once.
Tough one to answer the way its worded…I was tempted to answer “yes” because I’ve done about as much as ever intend to in feeding this elitist’s political hobby horse of “eco-sustainabiity”.
Part of my personal “susutainability” plan includes keeping enough moonbat repellent handy to dust down a dozen or so moonbats that may try to Picket my Bar BQs or wood burning heating. 😉
Once again SDA readers have come up with an inspired solution to overconsumption of unnecessary products which is an inherent part of the GW problem.
Shoplifting! GD – I wish I’d thought of that.
Bartinsky “This little fruit fly fellow is like the energizer bunny of bullshit”.
Brilliant! I wish I’d thought of that too.
New pole up!!
I voted for both endangered species and pollution.
It went through, and showed one reply. one vote for each. Now it doesn’t show the vote for endangered species. I guess my vote got scrubbed off. But it says I have already voted.
I won’t be voting again on this pole. (I only vote once per pole)
You’ve already voted on this poll
2) What is Canada’s biggest environmental threat?
endangered species 0 (0.00%)
climate change 0 (0.00%)
air and water pollution 5 (83.33%)
Suzuki, I think you are toast.
Latest Suzuki Foundation Poll is off to a bad start. 10:10am PTZ March 16 07
You’ve already voted on this poll
2) What is Canada’s biggest environmental threat?
endangered species 1 (4.76%)
climate change 0 (0.00%)
air and water pollution 19 (90.48%)
Why isn’t the LPOC the fourth option on the newest suzuki poll?
How can an endangered species be an ‘environmental threat’??? What does that animal-on-the-verge of extinction actually do that is threatening to the environment?
Surely that twit isn’t saying that UNLESS all species remain ‘as is’ on the planet, the environment is endangered?
But species are going extinct all the time and have been since life began, both gradually and in a ‘punctuated or rapid phase’ manner. The causes are both natural and human changing of the environment. Same with new species and new adaptations; they are emerging all the time and the causes are both natural and human (wild to domestic grains etc).
Why is this guy Susuki called a doctor.Does he have an office where bugs go to see him when their sick.Has anyone ever heard a bug call him doctor??If he is a bug doctor WHY?? is he putting his BIG NOSE into the environment.
Only 250+ voters on the latest poll. Air and water at 68+%., with 161 vote. Where does the media get the idea the environment will be the ballot question, and that all cdns will start sending money to save mother nature. If the libs get elected, not only will AB be hit with NEP2, but every cdn will be hit with a huge bill to pay for the right to heat their home, drive to work, and eat, bathe, cook and just live. Wonder when we will be taxed on breathing.
algore is speaking in Montreal, to a supposed crowd of 5000 people, on March 22. Will he speak french, will suzuki speak french. Will either of them be understood by this crowd.
Just checked the poll at 12.38a.m. MST, and there are only 284 votes registered. What happened to all votes on the screen shot.
This poll is excellent confirmation that average SDA readers don’t give a poop about anyone but themselves.
THEIR CREEPY AND THEIR KOOKIE.MYSTERIOUS AND SPOOKIE.THEIR ALL TOGETHER OOKIE.SUZKI AND AL GORE dose to the ADDAMS FAMILY theme dont forget the snap your fingers
Of course the poll changed, you directed your blog and its followers to it. The original result would have been skewed in favor of Suzuki’s typical green minded visitors, but now its skewed by typical views of readers of this site. Not sure what the point is, both results are inaccurate in terms of representing the Canadian population.
