  1. Please Dems…
    GO THERE

**Dana Houle, a Democrat activist who was once a chief of staff on Capitol Hill to a Democrat lawmaker, tweeted Friday night that he hopes Barrett is investigated over the children she and her husband adopted from Haiti. “I would love to know which adoption agency Amy Coney Barrett & her husband used to adopt the two children they brought here from Haiti,” Houle wrote.**

    Ghouls!

  2. China has promised to go carbon-neutral by 2060 and environmentalists are cheering. Why (I don’t know)?……

“China’s coal output, which dipped briefly in the mid 2010s, has since rebounded and is now 13% above 2016 levels… More new coal plants were permitted in early 2020 than in all of 2018 and 2019.”

Maybe “carbon-neutral” in Mandarin means “good luck with that.”

“If China fulfills Xi’s goal, it could prevent 0.2 to 0.4 C further warming for the world, according to “very rough estimates” by MIT management professor John Sterman”

WOW. An ENTIRE two-tenths of one degree Celsius.

    1. Chris, I think you are correct that “carbon neutral” does mean “good luck with that”, as there is no such thing or possibility of any such thing, as “carbon neutral”. Carbon based organisms living on a carbon based planet trying to eliminate carbon sounds like mass suicide.

      1. Just like the get woke and, hopefully soon, to go broke Maple Leaf. I’m still waiting for them to explain how they will smoke their ham and bacon products.

    2. Pretty sure a few well-placed American nukes would hurry along the People’s Republic’s plans of carbon neutrality.

Destroy their industries, and they can’t generate greenhouse gas.

    1. Interesting article. I am worried for all those people forced to wear masks all day in their work environment. Unions should start objecting.

    2. Derek, thank you. Great reader tip.

And like Linda L, I am saddened to see employees being forced to wear these throughout a whole work day. And for NOTHING.

  3. Underrated tweet of the night…

You are now witnessing, on full display, the difference in work ethic from someone who spent his entire life in the private sector (Trump) and someone who’s been a government employee his entire life ( Lazy Joe).

  4. Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau is in private meetings today, which means of course he is at Harrington Lake.

  5. The Liberal Party’s Globe and Mail reports that China’s World Health Organization gave China emergency permission to use a vaccine on its population before trials were completed. This makes sense since they created the antidote at the same time they created the virus in their bio-weapon labs. Funny how the virus is no longer a problem in China.

    1. It is no longer a problem in China as it has run it’s course, there are still probably thousands of cases but like the flu, very few are dying from it. That good old herd immunity.

  6. Post Millennial reports on Climate Barbie eating dog meat and attending an illegal cock fight in Indonesia.

      1. I can’t let a cock fighting reference slide by without ‘gettin’ in on the action’.

When I used to hunt in the SW there were cock fights but I never made it to one. I was willing but because they are illegal (LA excepted?) you need a a buddy who will get you an invite. The timing was never right and I’ve never seen an organized fight.

But, all is not lost because I’ve seen Tom Russell do his classic, ‘Gallo del Cielo’. I’ve had to settle for 6+ minutes of TR instead of 30 seconds of an actual cock fight.

I’m gearing up for a Tom Russell Saturday night. A jar of Jefferson’s Reserve has set itself out on the bar for the evening shoot – so to speak.

It’s still a little untimely but the wind is blowing the place apart so it might be early start… ha

          2. “Jefferson Reserve” rates @ 8.3 out of 10.
            You have good taste!

The weather guy said that Calgary should expect high Chinook winds tonight, as well.

            Enjoy!

  7. We all knew why the Trudeau Dictatorship prorogued Parliament and what was coming to Canadians this Fall. No surprises there.

So congrats to the haughty Liberals and N.D.P. for ‘winning’ each other’s support this past week. Together they can now further trash Canada into third World status… /s

This is what we will have to face for 3 more years in the meantime, a bloated government and a ‘bloated’ squeaky-voiced Finance Minister. They both have fine figures …/s

Right, but because… I hate to congratulate their actions.

A New Mass Extinction has been Discovered, Wiping Out Life 233 Million Years Ago, and Leading to the Rise of the Dinosaurs

Some good news for Extinction Rebellion:

“Though extinctions are seen as a kind of setback, they also present new opportunities and niches for new species to exploit. As the paper shows, the dinosaurs only proliferated after the CPE extinction.”

  9. Let me fix that headline. – Musk to create giant carbon footprint.

“SpaceX has…announced a trip around the moon with Japanese billionaire Yusak Maezawa. Musk has also outlined an ambitious timetable to send the first cargo-only ships to Mars by 2022. This would lead to crewed missions by 2024.”

“The company is currently developing the ship at its Boca Chica facility in Texas, with the goal of a fully-reusable rocket capable of transporting over 150 tons or 100 people into space at a time. The ship could take on satellite launches similar to the Falcon 9, while its liquid oxygen and methane fuel enables passengers to explore Mars and return by refueling with the planet’s resources. Musk has previously outlined his goals to build a city on Mars by 2050.”

    1. i live 20 miles from this so call launchpad, i pass by it at least once or twice a week to go fishing on boco chica beach. we locals call it “fred sanfords junkyard” . no body is going anywhere any time soon. in 2 years they got 2 ships up 150 ft. high each, all the rest blew up. now the EPA , the save the turtle people and other groups are after them.. what was planned as a space port is now a test pad. also it has been noted they drilled over 600 ft. deep and still can’t find bedrock. somebody once said you can”t build a house( or a launchpad) on sand.

      1. Don’t forget that SpaceX is designing, building, and testing new hardware. A failure can often tell the engineers what might have gone wrong.

I don’t recall any of the Falcon-1 flights ever being successful. That booster was soon superceded by the Falcon-9 and its early tests often failed.

    1. A marketplace observation.

Why is it that it costs $1000 or more to buy any kind of dog/mutt or $700+ to ‘adopt’ one, yet cats are still given away for free? Saw a box of kittens offered, “to a good home” the other day.

      They must have no value…..

      1. They must have no value…..

They certainly do. They give dogs lots of entertainment by providing them with something live to chase.

Several years ago, my father had to go out of town for a few days for medical tests. He asked me to come up to Fort St. John to look after the house and dog-sit my canine stepbrother.

One morning, I let the little guy out into the back yard to do his “business”. I saw him running back and forth near the back fence, but I couldn’t figure out why. A few minutes later, an orange cat slowly came out of the shrubbery and then went back in a short distance later. That’s when it made sense to me.

Within seconds, the cat was making a beeline across the back yard with my little buddy in hot, and joyous, pursuit. Fortunately, the kitty managed to escape through the fence. I don’t thing the dog would have harmed it, but it did have a bit of fun for a short while.

        1. BA

Ok I’ll concede that cats have chase value for dogs.

I’ve never owned a dog that didn’t have an innate dislike for cats.

          1. There have been several dachshunds in the family and each one that I got to know had a thing for cats.

I remember how the first one behaved when there was a feline nearby. My parents were visiting me at the time and brought along their critter, a gorgeous long-haired female. My mother happened to see a neighbour’s cat wandering about in the yard of the 4-plex I was living in, so she opened the door and told the dog that there was a cat outside.

She quickly chased it up a tree and then sat there looking at it, proud of her accomplishment.

    1. Ha! Well, whadda ya know!
Sounds like a plan. Let’s do the very same in Canada. I’m fantasizing about saying adios to J.T. already.

    1. Back in April the Florida ‘birds all came racing back, after spring break went ahead.

I’m going to guess that that caused a significant number of the cases in Quebec and Ontario.

I wonder if we’ll see a second peak next spring when they once again return.

      1. Yes, they wanted our health care in case they needed it.

Probably right, about the rising numbers in the QUE-ON STATE,
        er rather, I mean provinces.

Second peak? Not if Biden-Harris win, likely only if Trump wins,
–just guessing. Poor POTUS, gets all the blame and hardly any credit. Friggin Dems and MSM.

    1. Yes, saw that! That is neat!
      That would be:
језеро Trump (pronounced “jezero”, for the word “Lake” in Serbian) or “Trumpko jezero” as per an explanation in list below.
The new name is not yet entered on this list of Lakes: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lakes_of_Serbia#:~:text=Note%3A%20in%20Serbian%2C%20word%20for,comes%20after%20(Vlasinsko%20jezero)

Also in Kosovo it would be:
“liqeni Trump,” in Albanian, which is also spoken in Kosovo besides Serbian.

I’m sure Melania Trump is proud.

I’m recalling that war a few years ago. It, and the Iraq-Iran war were the last wars seen regularly on C.N.N.

      People died.

After 9-11 this in your face stuff stopped.

Now it’s all bits and pieces about riots in the streets and the destruction of statues.

      Thanks for your post Ed!

    1. Just wait until Prinz Dummkopf hears about it. He’ll impose all sorts of environmental and gender balance requirements so that nothing will get done. Now if SNC and Bombardier could make some money off it….
