  1. I never thought I would quote this guy.
“You know, at some point you are killing life in the foetus in self-defence – of what? Of the mother’s health or her happiness or of her social rights or her privilege as a human being? I think she should have to answer for it and explain. Now, whether it should be to three doctors or one doctor or to a priest or a bishop or to her mother-in-law is a question you might want to argue …. You do have a right over your own body – it is your body. But the foetus is not your body; it’s someone else’s body. And if you kill it, you’ll have to explain.”

  2. How long before something like this happens in Canada, Alberta in particular? On the other hand, would Comrade Red Rachel or Prime Minister Hogwash care?

  3. Re: Video–The Great Depression. We had our own demons right here in Canada. Similar events took place throughout the 1930’s.
It’ll happen again. It’s a free course in Economics 101.

  4. Hillary tells the biggest lie of all. There’s video at the link if you can stomach it.
    http://lidblog.com/why-wont-hillary-clinton-say-shes-not-lying/#
Pelley: In ’76, Jimmy Carter famously said, ” I will not lie to you.”
Clinton: Well, I have to tell you, I have tried in every way I know how, literally from my years as a young lawyer, all the way through my time as Secretary of State to level with the American people.
Pelley: You talk about leveling with the American people. Have you always told the truth?
Clinton: I have always tried to, always, always.
Pelley: Some people are going to call that wiggle room that you just gave yourself “always tried to.” I mean Jimmy Carter, “I will never lie to you.”
Clinton: You’re asking me to say, “have I ever?” I don’t believe I ever have. ?” I don’t believe I ever have, I don’t believe I ever will. I am going to do the best I can to level with the American people.

  5. The New Feudalism…
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-01-23/obamatrade-will-cost-448000-american-jobs-new-study-finds
One of the major purported selling points for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a supposed increase in new jobs as a result of the controversial trade deal. The deal involves 12 nations, including the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia and more. However, two recent economic reports have contradicted the claims that jobs will increase. They have shown that, more than likely, the deal will lead to a loss of jobs.
“TPP would lead to employment losses in all countries, with a total of 771,000 lost jobs. The United States would be the hardest hit, with a loss of 448,000 jobs.”
“Globally, the TPP favors competition on labor costs and remuneration of capital. Depending on the policy choices in non-TPP countries, this may accelerate the global race to the bottom, increasing downward pressure on labor incomes in a quest for ever more elusive trade gains.”

  6. this is a good lesson for americans who think the military will support them in any uprising against a communist president.

  7. It’s hard to see anything positive in the politics of this country today. Ontario under the Liberals, Alberta under the NDP and the country under a Liberal Cabal with a front man high on frivolity, all with Majority rule.

  8. Liberal Justine government say, We feel your pain.

  9. Those election results remind me of a story I heard about Adlai Stevenson.
During one of his two attempts to win the American presidency, he gave a speech at one campaign stop. Afterward, a woman came up to him and said something like: “Mr. Stevenson, I was impressed with what you said. You’ll have the support of every intelligent American.”
His response was along the lines of: “Thank you, madame, but, in order to win, I need a majority of the votes.”

  10. I didn’t mean you thought I was racist. The article uses debate about the refugee issue as a way of justifying the anti-racist policy.

  11. Little wonder Herbert Hoover got blown out in the 1932 election.-

Those men were promised a bonus just for surviving a war that no one else could even dream horrible nightmares about..
    Blown out?
    Bastard should have been Lynched..

  12. Have you always told the truth?
Clinton: I have always tried to, always, always.

    She really is a Saddlebag.
Makes me want to throw up.. Excuse Me….

  13. I didn’t think you were.
Both of your statements are right: all the parties think you are a racist if you have problems with the “refugee” “plan”.

  14. Good video, the Bonus Army.
Had to love the voice over/newsman, Presstitites have a long sordid history of serving the politicians.
Political promises, worth as much in 1930s as they are in the 2010s.
What is the modern “bonus” to be redeemed at a later date?
    Healthcare?
    Canadian Pension?
    Your savings?
All have as much chance of being honoured.

  15. The Bonus Marchers were promised $1000 to be paid in 1945. Just because you want something sooner doesn’t make you more deserving.

  16. BuzzFeed Canada is hiring — but white males need not apply.
That’s according to BuzzFeed Canada senior writer Scaachi Koul, who announced the openings in a tweet Thursday, saying the company would “particularly like to hear from you if you are not white and not male.”

  17. Don’t let the door hit you on your way OUT.

“Aside from Paris, Figueres was also known for her comments about how democracy put up too many hurdles to fighting global warming. Figuerespraised communist China’s efforts to deploy more green energy and said it was ‘doing it right’ when it came to fighting warming.” (Justin Trudeau in drag?)
    http://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/climate-change-scare-tool-to-destroy-capitalism/
At a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” she said.

  18. The recent Apple security nonsense is getting ridicules…D Trump calling for a boycott is a show boat… If apple considers their TOY has “industrial grade encryption”, the product is prohibited from export….That includes all those PL traveling over Borders without permission & tracking documentation. The Fed’s existing laws can break Apple in a nanosecond…
If Obama has ignored or failed to enforce existing law… The Congress has a duty.

  20. FF to the 5 minute mark in the vid. “MacArthur ignored the order”. uhuh. seems he was noted for that behaviour. that’s what got him fired during the Korean conflict. love him and hate Truman all you want, but MacArthur would have loved to have an American military dictatorship. Truman took a lot of flak for booting MacArthur in the arse but he was spot on doing so. MacArthur severely needed to be put in his place as a lesson to all senior military commanders. you sir, you DON’T make policy. the final decision is NOT yours.

  21. That could only be true if, in fact, the refugee policy is based on race which would make the government the racists.

  22. what a great memory I have I referenced this item on another post and forgot I read it here. what a great mind. I think I am losing it.
