  1. Well, it will be fun times in the prison with all the like minded folks together in one place.

At least I until the gas chambers get fired up.

    1. Well, “climate deniers” missed the podium too. My guess, they have been auditioning various labels for their magum opus:
      #TheGreatOthering

The final act of the play, where all the zombies get shot in the head because “it’s the only way to be sure”.

  2. If “Claims of Election Fraud” is a true threat, then the Dems have already been an outspoken terrorist organization for decades.

But, hey, at least they got the last one correct.

9/11 anniversaries have long been considered high risk for Islamic terrorist acts. But, they just couldn’t be honest and bring themselves to specify Islamic Religious Holidays now, could they?

  3. Trump COULD be reinstated. It is possible, in the same sense that winning the lottery is “possible”. Basically, there is no precedent for removing a sitting president. The only legal recourse at this point, is impeachment. Then Harris is the president, and a new vice president is selected. After that it would be Pelosi as Speaker.

Basically, for Trump, it’s 2024, or give up on the idea. He COULD try to get elected to the House. Then, he would have to be voted Speaker. Then, he could try impeaching both Biden and Harris (which would require majorities in both houses; to send articles to the Senate, then for Senate to vote to impeach). And this theoretical is 2022, the midterms. So everyone knows, it just ain’t happening, barring Powerball level unpredictable strangeness.

Honestly, the first job of any true American President, should simply be to impeach about 60,000 judges from all levels of the bench. SCOTUS, when offered the opportunity to act as a co-equal branch of the US government, declined to hear any election cases. It declined to enforce the US constitution. 7 of the 9 justices simply don’t belong there. Then there is the swamp of the 9th circuit.

The man who said it is correct; “Trump wasn’t our last chance, he was yours”. The establishment could have salvaged some of their position and prestige and pork barrelling if they had yielded to sanity. Instead, the doubled down on totalitarian delusions.

The guy Americans pick next, the establishment is going to like him even less than they liked Trump. But, they had their chance, and the declined to take it.

    1. If the non-party member won’t commit the crime, the party will have to make up the crime, truth now subject to affiliation.
Judged by identity. The individual subservient to the collective. Science and scholarship now subject to political agreement.
Those tactics line up with all collectivist takeovers, totalitarianism the inevitable result. How can it be any different here, now?
The hobgoblins are circling above the fat and happy (non) voters. If we’re all worse off, the apparatchiks become stronger.
Frustration at brinkmanship and power lust is met with offers of the same but somehow different political pablum.
With covid, once more they use Marxist divide and conquer tactics, doubling down on their negligent, lethal policy failures.
The damage this will wrought will feel like a losing lottery ticket compared to the climate change destruction of liberty.
Without liberty, there is no freedom, there is nothing approaching equality (quite the opposite), so no prosperity or safety.
How frustrating that Canadians are voting for statist subservience, by default, hegemony assured with 25% of the eligible vote.

I remember my politics professors warning about blinded by our “opiates” society (VCRs then, smartphones now), and given collectivists hate any idea of freedom of access to information – so expression – order to control our very thoughts and that we would feel compelled in sufficient numbers to trade our liberty for short lived serenity, finally escaping our freedom to act.

Am I exaggerating. I think not. Take a look at the neo-regal usurpation of individual choice in Australia and New Zealand.
Australia: 372 current cases=.0015% of the population. Total cases 153/100K population, 953 deaths=.0037% of population.
NZ – lower, both locked down and masked. Canada, numbers now higher than that. It’s wakey time folks.

Get ready for a post election lockdown, the statists with their thumb on the scales, their boot on our neck, our nuts in a sling.

    2. There’s no requirement that the Speaker be an active member of the House of Representatives, so Trump could be elected Speaker without having to be elected to a House seat first.

With respect to impeachment, the House only needs a majority to impeach, but the Senate requires 2/3 of senators to convict, so absent any vacancies that’s 67. And only Congress can impeach and remove federal judges (they have nothing to do with state judges). It does happen every once in a while, in situations where it is plainly obvious someone needs to go (ie. corruption). But otherwise, once you’re put on the federal bench, unless it’s for a position with a certain time limit you’re there for as long as you like or until you decide to quit, die, or get elevated to a higher court. That is one of Trump’s legacies: He nominated, and the Senate confirmed, a lot of new federal judges who were under the age of 50, some as young as their late 30s, which means they can sit on the bench for decades. If he was still in office and the Senate had a GOP majority, the 9th Circuit would have been flipped; they were that close. There is also a desire among some to split the 9th Circuit into two smaller Circuits, the argument being it’s too big and overly influenced by the presence of so many judges from California.

As well, there is another method to get Biden out: the 25th Amendment, but that would require Harris and the majority of the Cabinet to turn on him and declare that he is incapable of performing the duties of POTUS.

  4. You know, when you create something called “The Department of Homeland Security” and turn it loose, it tries to justify it’s existence by finding new threats. There always has to be a -new- threat, because the old one from last week is not threatening enough.

Let that percolate along for 20 years, as they have, and pretty soon legitimate objections to government over-reach, standard religious observances and national holidays will be made over as “threats.” Because you always always ALWAYS have to have a new threat.

Let them run along for a few more years and they’ll be showing up for kid’s birthday parties and high school proms. (They’ve already showed up at a couple of proms, btw.)

Add in the really poisonous Leftist urge to control absolutely everything, and you get that television announcement. Everything the government does is good, everything the DemocRats do is good, anything done by anybody else is bad and will be stopped.

Example, Sturgis Bike Week is a terrorist threat. Provincetown Bear Week is a permitted “religious festival.”

    Okay? Are we learning yet?

    1. Where does Lollapaloosa Detroit fit into this. Just kidding. I already know.
As MLK never said, we should be judged by our colour/identity, not the content of our character or the timbre of our ideas.

  5. To a Leftist, the words “opposition” and “belief” are red flags for terrorism….provided said opposition and beliefs run contrary to their opinions. It’s as simple as that.

  6. Here’s my list of potential terror threats:

    – Lawfully remove and replace an illegitimate administration
    – Refund police depts and clean up inner city gangs
    – Defund plan parenthood
    – Ban mail in ballots and Dominion type vote tabulating machines

(Soros $´s, BLM, Antifa and MSM standing by)

  7. “By weakening the independence and strength of individuals’ minds and forcing them to live in a constant state of propaganda-induced fear, the Party is able to force its subjects to accept anything it decrees, even if it is entirely illogical”

    WAR IS PEACE
    FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
    IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

    1. “During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” ― George Orwell

    1. It certainly seems so. And when you label 70% to 90% of decent, hard working, American citizens as potential terrorists, you should should be careful what you wish for.

  8. I’m currently reading, “In The Garden of Beasts” which is a non fictional first hand account of people and events in Nazis Germany circa 1933, 1934 and the parallels are more than ominous.

    1. John, I read and studied history for a long time after the war. No one seems to grasp history and the repeats of same anymore. Just one more reason why I say Canadians are stupid. A people who are supposed to be educated would never have fallen for this whu who flu insanity, which shows you just where the average intellect is.

    2. Another interesting read is the events leading up to the Spanish Civil War. The last few years are a carbon copy of those times.

  9. Election fraud claims as a marker for terrorist shows desperation. The administration must be out of touch or out of ideas. (yeah I know – the power of “and” may apply). They must be trying to get a public response that can be claimed as a basis for normally unwarranted actions.

    June 2021:

Seventy-one percent (71%) of Republican voters support forensic election audits like the one in Arizona, as do 38% of Democrats and 57% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

A majority of Republicans (70%) don’t believe Biden won the 2020 presidential election fairly, a belief shared by 10% of Democrats and 45% of unaffiliated voters.
