Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

This poll must be made by a Chicagoan; you can vote over and over and over and over. Click on link, vote, close page, repeat.
Scratch that, no multiple voting. Didn’t have my glasses on and my coffee is still brewing.
Chile’s contribution to Earth Day. I guess we best double up on the tree planting.

I was planning to go around punching hippies…. I think I’ll settle for having a bonfire to get rid of the scrap wood from my kitchen renovations.
Actually I did, I noticed my apple tree was looking a little gaunt so I parked my truck beside it and let the truck idle for a couple of hours.
I actually did do something – I had to drive 3 hours to visit a client which resulted in an unusual extra amount of CO2 being spewed from my vehicle, thus improving the plant life however slightly along the 401 corridor between my home and London.
Great minds think alike?
Being a large family with 5 children, I decided that Earth Day was to be my laundry day and both washing machines and both dryers were running all day full tilt. It was the least I could do. 😀
Damn,
that last post is sad.
Mom killing her three little ones.

But the fcuking Envirofarts would smile and say ‘well done.’
“Keep up the good greenish works.”
Both of those polls start my morning off well. For a Regina CTV Ralph Goodale country poll to show massive support of PM Harper is a slap in the face of the Dauphin Shiny Pony. As well, the Earth Day poll suggests that the vast majority of people ignore the earth muffin’s attempts to shut down modern civilization and foist on all cooking meals over an open fire in a mud hut.
In our home we try to practice good non earth muffin induced stewardship of resources everyday. However, on Earth Day we splurge a little with unnecessary burning of gasoline and spring cleaning burning in the burning barrel.
Bought a new wheeled weed whacked. Also a new dethatching bar. Spent several hours preparing yard for this year’s grass growing. Love the sound of gas powered yard tools.
Is anybody else not seeing these polls?
Go back and read it again!
The take is the mom and 3 kids were murdered by the “boy-friend”…..who then took the 4 month old baby too his ma’s house, at some distance and then killed his-self.
A disturbance in the force…..sad…..
Endangred birds chopped up by Windturbines the eco-freaks couldnt care less birds get oiled up and wait for the usial eco-jerks picking the service stations selling the gas of the one responsible and hollywood idiots like Robert Redford to appear in the usial junk mail urging you to oppose Keystone STUPID GREENS GO AWAY
For EARTH DAY, most folks around here followed my lead:
We indirectly fertilized the lake. Some did a couple times.
Love their community spirit!
Try sex in the lake. You will fertilize a lot more, and is great.
“Try sex in the lake.”
HA HA HA! At this time of year? You’d not be able to find “Big John and The Twins” for days after getting in the cold water. ☺
I’ve posted this here before…Earth Hour .. Earth Day..no matter, both are utter nonsense.

I went for a drive out of boredom, truck has a bad O2 sensor. Around 60 km @ 15L / 100 km (15.68 mpg) for no reason whatsoever. Toyota pickup if anybody is wondering, should be getting mid 20’s.
I’m sooo evil, I know.
Went for a hard run. Inhaled O2. Exhaled CO2. Now the world is so much better.
Was a little chili in the old trap shack yesterday morning so I lit the wood stove…….
I went to work at a nuclear power plant. Reliable, air pollution free, water pollution free, electric power.
Yesterday was Lenin’s birthday not Earth day
I’ve always felt sorry for guys named Milt.
Yesterday I burned wood for heat. As I do every day in winter. A renewable resource, but I am sure the eco-nuts will find objection with that.
Also, I am off grid, and has been for 10 years. Most of my neighbours thought I was crazy then, but thanks to the Ontario Liberals I now look like a genius. They are literally bankrupted by their hydro bills.
I did wheelies. Until it snowed. Then I went inside and turned the heat up.
Earth Day is usually the day that I clean out my toxic paint thinner bottle on the weeds beside my house but they forgot to tell me it was earth day and I was gone today. I’ll remember to do it tomorrow and surprise the weeds.
We did our annual endangered species chilli cook off with the winner being polar bear again.. this year a close runner up was the dish made with Black Rhino tenderloin. All of this is washed down with good beer and be pour cokes on the ground to release the carbon.
When it starts to get dark, we retire to the backyard, where we have our annual tire fire started again this year with gallons of used motor oil. We did add the ritual tossing into the fire of bacon grease soaked Koran’s, but the number has increased to a point the neighbors siding is melting, careful next year.
All of this is culminated with the rousing rendition of the March of the Cambreth with the pipes of drums of our happy family…
See you next year
You don’t want to have sex in eastern Paul’s lake unless you wear protection. I’d be more worried about the green algae than anything your “swimming” partner may be carrying! 🙂
planet day? when was it?
