Cold, Canuck Cash

Now is the time at SDA when we JUXTAPOSE!

May 1, 2020Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today announced a ban on some 1,500 makes and models of military-grade “assault-style” weapons in Canada, effective immediately

October 19, 2020Dozens of gang members have been exploiting the $500 weekly government cheques to obtain illegal handguns smuggled into the country from the U.S., sources told the Toronto Sun.

  1. When the border is a sieve with no enforcement and illegal guns are considerably easier to buy than legal ones, attacking legal gun owners is 100% political.

  2. So the only ones ending up owning guns, will be criminals who bought the guns with money from the government. That is so “progressive”.

    1. Reminds me of the “Fast and Furious” scandal with the first Obama administration when Eric Holder was the Attorney General. As a reminder, the Department of Justice sold illegal guns to gang members in Arizona and New Mexico which were then used to kill ordinary Americans – if my memory serves me correctly.
I am definitely for “small government”. Government employees and politicians are just “no good” at running profitable business ventures – I still remember the Hydroponic Scandal in Newfoundland in the early 1980’s.

      1. There’s Canada doing it better than the Americans. The U.S. Government spent public money and embarrassed itself getting caught arranging gun smuggling to justify more restrictions on gun owners who don’t break the law. Canada just gives cash directly to the criminals, knowing they use it to buy smuggled guns and use those guns to shoot each other and bystanders, justifying to Liberals further restrictions on gun owners who don’t break the law.

    2. I believe we are ahead of plan for PM Blackie’s Venezuelization of Canuckistan. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens while facilitating the escalation of weapons being smuggled and its proliferation will make for Trudeau’s proxys in criminal militias doing the Regime’s dirty work in exchange of power in their turfs. Caracas right now too.

  3. Another item for me to file under “why I hate liberals”.
They are more concerned with the well being of criminals. Probably because they are criminals themselves.

    1. I wonder the same thing. A certain punk rock lawyer supporter of Joe(I sniff them) Biden makes me wonder if he has the same yearning for younger flesh.

    1. When the conservative’s where running things, did they ban firearms? Did they create a gun registry? Did they join climate accord?

    2. The “Conservatives” were/are too busy pandering to all as vote whores by leaning further left since Scheer.
That and blocking average Canadians on Twitter

  4. “Said the Source”
    The source says…..
    Who is the source?
I tend to ignore the veracity of any stories that use the ubiquitous “source”.

  5. Justy Blackface doesn’t want to upset criminals with guns. How they got the guns is of no concern to him and his band of
    incompetent Nincompoops.

  6. Bill Blair was a thoroughly incompetent cop (and probably on the take as well). He’s even worse as a minister of the Crown (and probably even more corrupt.)

  7. What’s the difference between supplying addicts with “free”, safe drugs and supplying gang bangers with “free” guns? I mean, it sounds like a good thing because it protects innocent gun owners from being robbed for their guns.

  8. As an aside,I noticed this morning Bill Blair has no trouble telling the RCMP to enforce the law in the East.
Same dipshit who told us they do not control the RCMP while railways were sabotaged ,commerce brought to a standstill and life safety equipment vandalized on National TV..
He praises the RCMP for their “investigative work” in this Lobsterfest and tells us “Charges will be laid for breaking the law”

Gee how many charges were laid,by the crown, over the Fabulous Five Protests and destruction?
Bubbling Blair is the definition of Assault Style Liberal,so dishonest they believe their own lies.

    1. Not to memtion the law-breaking law makers in the current administration from top on down.

  9. Mean while, out on the western prairies, we are at the end of our rope. The Tool better get after this gun grab or he is going to have a rebellion on his hands.

  10. Oh the irony! We all need to understand that the government and criminals need each other. Without criminals and drugs , we would only need about 25% of the government we now have. However, from Trudeau’s perspective, lawful gun owners are the threat to him. If he keeps hitting us with taxes and destroying the economy, or maybe announces a 50% tax increase to pay back all the billions he wasted during Covid, there would be a citizens revolt! Thus if it then escalated into civil war, we would be fighting our own government. Lawful gun owners would be giving their spare guns and ammo to their neighbours. So from his perspective, lawful gun owners are the threat to them, not criminals. Hence the May 01 ban and attempt at handgun bans. No new regs or laws for criminals, a small amount for border patrols and policing, and billions for banning legal guns. Hmmmm, methinks this stinks! Unfortunately, the above, makes more sense than I care to think about. Remember, from Trudeau’s and Blair’s perspective, WE ARE THE THREAT TO GOVERNMENT!

  11. L- The Welfare State doling out public monies without any control on negative behaviour is, in effect, a subsidy to a criminal subculture never before so viable.

People who predated on others, misbehaved and endangered the public safety and others even making a living, suffered the “social sanctions of society” (Blackstone’s Commentaries. The Reference on British Common Law). They had trouble getting people to hire them or do business or associate with them. May even be banished, (which in primitive hunting gathering societies meant death) . They even had to fear being arrested or witnessed against, but I digress.

It is common for the low end of the criminal subculture to use that as a base income from which to subsidize criminal activity e.i. street gangs, street level drug dealers, B&E, stolen property including automobiles. Until gov’t. payments for basic income include requirements and sanctions for failing to abide by the law, failing to complete education/job training, keeping their children in school, being tested for illegal drug use. The diversion of gov’t. assistance for subsidizing the business of crime will be a major affect (unintended consequences but not unforeseen) !

The Cult. Marxist ideology serves to provide a smoke and mirrors justification for gov’t. policies creating unnecessary human suffering that previous generations under British Common-Law(the creme de la creme of Western Civilization) had solved.

(Acknowledgement that the Biblical narrative is valid human psychology for producing lower crime, higher quality of life, higher productive societies; something commonly known until Post-modernism began to corrupt every institution. Then the “leaders” lost the moral courage to resist and defeat it. Notiez-bien, how a value for money audit is not on the platform of any political party in the West !!! In whose interest is that requirement ?)

The political axiom that the ordinary citizen cannot be trusted with the power of a firearm is a premise in the larger totalitarian argument, that neither can they be trusted with the political power required for self-government. This is another topic no longer extent in public discourse and successfully censored by Marxist inspired media organizations, both the dinosaur and the chimera digital ones.

  12. Hail diversity.
Trudeau opponents disarmed, Trudeau supporters armed, all according to plan.
